Asher could not help but smile as he listened to the duke talking with so much confusion.

"Duke...it’s okay if you don’t understand. I’m here anyway. So, we will find the answers later, okay? Now...We have another business here."

Asher said while taking off his clothes, then sitting naked in front of the duke.

"You want to do it?"

Felix asked and Asher nodded, hopeful. He wasn’t feeling very horny today. But for whatever the reason, he thought maybe he could pass his energy to the duke and make his mood better.

However, they couldn’t do it because...they got a knock on the door where they got to know what was happening outside.

It’s Bill. While everyone was troubled by Asher’s disappearance, Bill, being the smart guy he was, found the ladder leaned onto the window from outside on his search out of suspicion. He guessed Asher must be inside and knocked on the door, explaining what’s happening.

Mm...And, yeah...Asher used that ladder to climb up there.

"Mm...Sir, If sir Asher is there, I want to let you know everyone is worried you have disappeared. If you can solve this, it will be helpful. Thank you."

Bill didn’t stay there and left as soon as he delivered his message. He didn’t know if they were asleep or awake. But he just said it, wishing for the best. It was exhausting to answer all these curious maids and control those arrogant maids who think now they own the mansion since their master wasn’t anywhere to see anymore.

Asher said, quite disappointed after what he heard. However, he then grinned in a teaseful manner as the disappointment disappeared.

"Let’s stop here. But give me a kiss. Here."

Asher touched his own lips, closed his eyes and said. Felix couldn’t help but chuckle for whatever the reason and kissed him on the lips but then suddenly getting attacked by Asher who deepened their kiss, his tongue inside his mouth.

’It’s a trap...’

Felix didn’t realise Asher was planning on making their last kiss for the moment very tense. So he got trapped like this. Asher’s hands wrapped around his back really tight and Felix was indeed literally trapped in Asher’s arms as he couldn’t even move.

Asher is so strong, isn’t he?

Once the kiss ended, Asher kissed the duke’s cheek, then again a light kiss on the lips, then kissed his chin, neck, the Adam apple that was moving as Felix gulped nervously.

"It’s disappointing we have to stop now. But we are going to do it tonight, once everything is settled okay?"

"Mmm..."

"Good boy."

Felix kissed Felix’s cheek once again and finally let go of him before he got off the bed.

"I will go outside. You also come outside once you are ready. Don’t take too much time though. Okay?"

Asher said and only left once Felix nodded and got off the bed.

As Asher stepped outside, he saw a very few maids who seemed to have been staring at the door jump up in panic as they saw him come outside.

Asher ignored them and closed the door, then went to Bill as he wanted to tell him the duke will be out and he should call sir Lucas.

However, as he was on his way, he met Nala, who bumped into him.

She fell to the ground with a dramatic groan in pain, then staring at Asher from the ground.

"Are you blind?"

Before Nala could say anything, Asher asked, his hands tied in front of his chest.

Nala seemed to have gotten surprised that he talked first. But Asher felt like teaching her a lesson this time.

"Look where you are going."

Asher said again as Nala just silently watched him, looking dumbfounded.

Asher wasn’t going to lie, this phrase reminded him of that time where he got screamed at...but, it didn’t affect him anymore. He was just dumb those times. These sudden events had made him brave and more mature during this little period ...and...quite aggressive too.

’I didn’t do anything to surprise her though.’

Asher thought to himself as he then walked past her. He looked back for a moment and saw Nala was still staring at him, with that same expression.

’What the fuck! Did I look that scary?’

Asher asked himself as he was also now amused by her reaction. But he just forgot it then and there as he met with Bill. Asher updated him on the things he has to know. And also asked to call sir Lucas.

After that, Asher went to see Mary and show himself to her so she could say to others he had not run away or abandoned the duke.

How dare they think he is like that?

Or...did they mean something else by him disappearing?

As Asher stepped into the kitchen, the maids looked at him, their expressions turning to shock as if they saw a ghost. It was almost funny. But Asher didn’t laugh and just walked to Mary, saying he took the food she saved for the duke to give to the duke last night. And then he said how the duke will come out and would need food. As soon as he said so, Mary hurried the maids to prepare the meals, scolding them for wasting time for gossiping.

Asher thanked Mary and then left back to the duke’s room where the duke was sitting on the bed, staring somewhere.

"Shall we go outside, Felix?"

Asher asked. But after some time, Asher wanted to laugh out loud seeing the duke’s expression when hearing Asher call him by his name.

Sigh...he can’t help but like this man more...

"Let’s go."

Asher said again and watched as the red faced duke walked toward him.

Asher stepped outside and following him, Felix also stepped outside.

In some weird way, Felix felt like he was stepping into a new city or something...when it was his own mansion.

Sigh...guess he really stayed too much time inside that room.

Felix thought and looked at Asher who was walking in front of him, looking really serious.

Felix couldn’t help but smile as he felt a sense of sudden joy.
