Chapter 123: To Be Happy

"We are leaving. Will you leave soon too?"

After one more hour passed, Lucas came to Felix and said he and Karl were leaving. Felix also wanted to leave but since Anne still had not finished eating, he couldn’t. But as soon as she finishes, they will go back too.

He wanted to give her a chance to have her time despite him being impatient to go back.

"Yeah, when Anne is done eating."

"She is still eating? Haha!"

"Sigh..you know her."

"Right. Let her enjoy her time since she can’t do this everyday."

"Yeah..."

"Then we are leaving. You also go home safely."

"Mm...You too."

Felix and Lucas parted ways, Felix watching Anne walking around another round table that had cakes.

’Is she ever going to stop?’

Felix could only advise her to hurry up since he didn’t want to drag her away from enjoying the time of her life. But...he wanted to go back too...

"One more hour. That’s it."

Felix finally gave her a time limit, suspecting she might not agree to leave by herself till he would have choice but to drag her away. Felix still couldn’t believe she had been eating for four straight hours. Is she sick? Why did she have such a big appetite?

Alas, they were all sweets. Won’t she get sick of the same sugary taste?

’Ugh...Even imagining seeing what she ate together makes me feel sick.’

"Haaa...Hng!"

Asher gasped for air as his limp body motionlessly laid on the bed, his chest rising up and down with his gasps filled the room.

’I am crazy. No way I am doing this!’

Asher was suddenly pulled back into his right mind and freaked out about what he had just done.

He just touched himself while thinking about the duke, sniffing his clothes.

Asher immediately got up, staring at the dirty bed sheet that was stained by him. Even though he was gasping, felt dizzy and weak, he was terrified of what he did and pulled out the bed sheet, rubbing off the white sticky liquid as much as he could.

Asher couldn’t put this dirty bed sheet back on, so at night, after putting on his clothes back on, he walked to the storage room where he could easily find fresh clothes including bed sheets, pillows, curtains and more.

Hugging the duke’s shirt and the dirty bed sheet, he first walked to the laundry room, put both back in the basket to be washed the next day. He wished no one would notice this extra sheet and, since he wiped off what would give someone any idea of what happened, he was quite relieved.

He then rushed to the other storage room next to that room, pulled out a clean bed sheet and ran back to the duke’s room.

He didn’t want to make any noises in case he would wake up Mary. She always slept in the room at the back of the mansion near those storage rooms. She was there for emergencies. She could help Miss Anne or the duke if they needed food or anything she could help them with. So it’s really convenient that she was there.

’Phew...’

Asher was sweating and felt quite the pain from his lower body due to his not so careful thrusts. It reminded him of what he did and he felt like dying of shame again.

’I need a bath!’

As soon as he came in, Asher walked to the bathroom, took off his clothes again, filled out the bathtub and finally laid in it feeling relieved. It was cool and relaxing.

’I hope what happened today will be a forever secret. Ugh! I really wish I could forget it.’

Asher scratched his head in annoyance and covered his face with his palms, feeling humiliated.

’Did I really do it? Ugh...I am so disgusting. How dare I?!’

Asher was so lost. He didn’t know what made him so desperate at that time. He really wouldn’t have gone that far when he thought about it at that time. He couldn’t believe he shamelessly pleasured himself, on the duke’s bed, dirtying it, out of desperation for touch...

’Haa...I feel relaxed now.’

Asher closed his eyes and stayed in the water, trying to calm down both his body and mind.

’I will stay here for sometime...a little more.’

"Let’s go. I’m sleepy!"

Anne, finally done with her adventour of eating, pulled Felix’s hand and said. Felix was indeed relieved she was done so without waiting more, they left the ball.

On the way back to the carriage, Felix secretly glanced at the paper bag Anne was hugging and looking at while giggling.

"Why are you acting suspicious?"

Felix asked and Anne turned her head to Felix, then grinning.

"Like I said, these are for you. They are not that sweet and you will not hate them...And, I got another one for brother Ash too! So you two can have them during tea time together."

Anne said, looking proud of her achievement.

"Then what about you?"

Felix asked, quite proud of her attention toward him and Asher. But it’s surprising that she didn’t get one for herself.

"I ate so much. I now only want Aunt Mary’s special pie. I will ask for it tomorrow. Hehe."

"But, didnt you eat enough sweets for at least a month?"

"What? No! If I ate them in one day, how can it be enough for two days let alone a month?"

"...You have a point."

"Right? Mm... Do you think brother Ash is asleep by now?"

"Mm...It’s very late now."

"Are you two sleeping in the same bed? Do you hug? Do you kiss him? Do you cudd-"

"We are here!"

Felix rushed out of the carriage seeing Anne getting too chatty. He was sure she would end this with don’t bully brother Ash or don’t scare him.

He might have scared Asher before.

But now, Felix realised he had gotten too weak in front of Asher.

And, it was mostly like the other way around from what Anne would believe.

Her brother Ash was the one bullying him, teasing him and playing with him.

But how could he explain it to Anne?

It’s better she just doesn’t know anything about it.

Well...she was happy enough they were together. So...as long as they are tied together and they are happy, Anne wouldn’t mind her father getting teased by brother Ash.

At the end of the day, they are together, they are happy, they are loved and that’s all she needs.

For her father to be happy.

And...brother Ash to be happy.
