Tang Xue Mei held her breath, her heart pounding with anticipation. She had been waiting for this moment for weeks, and finally, she was going to get to hear her babies’ heartbeats.

After a few moments of silence, Dr. Liu’s face lit up with a warm smile. "Ah, here we are," she said, her voice filled with excitement. "Baby A’s heartbeat is 158 beats per minute, and Baby B’s is 160 beats per minute. Both are strong and healthy. Very energetic like I said."

Tang Xue Mei felt a surge of joy and relief wash over her. She had always been worried about her babies’ health, but hearing their strong heartbeats was a huge relief.

Dr. Liu continued the ultrasound, moving the probe gently over Tang Xue Mei’s belly to get a better look at the twins. "Now, let’s take a look at their anatomy," she said, her eyes scanning the screen intently.

Tang Xue Mei watched in awe as Dr. Liu pointed out different features on the screen. "Here’s Baby A’s head, and here’s Baby B’s. You can see their little hearts beating away, and their tiny arms and legs moving. Everything looks good, Tang Xue Mei. You’re doing a great job growing these two little ones, no wonder your belly’s so big, they’ll weigh a ton when they’re out. My guess 2.8 kg- 3.5kg."

"Is that a good thing?"

"Absolutely theses are very healthy sizes.."

Tang Xue Mei felt a sense of pride and wonder at the miracle growing inside her. She couldn’t believe that she was carrying two tiny human beings, and that they were already so developed and healthy.

Dr. Liu continued to scan the twins, pointing out their tiny organs and features. "You can see their little lungs expanding and contracting, and their stomachs are nice and full."
