"The results came out and I’m afraid it’s the same thing. Everything points to your mother. Samples, fingerprints, it all lead to you and again somehow the police go involved in it. It’s only a matter of time before the evidence leads to your mother."

Tang Xue Mei gripped the balcony rails in annoyance. This was bad, everything was going south now.

"Let’s send her out of the country then. Find a place where the police won’t be able to find her, do it fast we don’t have much time..."

Ken tapped his fingers thinking of the best possible place where the odds were in their favors.

"I got it, the boss has a condo in faroe island. It’s a quaint place, the police won’t be able to trace her there and she’ll have a wonderful time with the folks there.."

When they go to the mansion, Su Huiying quickly rushed in to get her clothes while Tang Xue Mei took a look around.

An Yu asked, the house was completely deserted not a single person sight.

"I guessed my mother must have asked everyone to leave for they’re own safety..."

Tang Xue Mei sighed she needed a good strong wine but alas she was pregnant and ginger tea wasn’t helping anymore.

Su Huiying walked downstairs with her suitcase while An Yu reached to help her.

She stopped him, "I’m leaving the keys to the house and the company in your hands. Take care of your father for me..."

Tang Xue Mei nodded and held the keys tightly before placing them inside her pockets.

"There was a little delay but we should be able to pick up the visa from fifth avenue.."

An Yu nodded and lead Su Huiying out of the house as Tang Xue Mei locked the doors.

Detective Lee sat at his desk, sipping his coffee and staring at the report in front of him. Tang Zijun, a wealthy businessman, had been in a coma for weeks after a fatal car accident. The doctors said a traumatic brain injury had caused the coma.

But detective Lee knew it was no ordinary car accident.

Lee rubbed his temples, feeling a headache coming on. This was not what he needed so early in the morning. He called his partner, Detective Ru, into his office.

"Ru, we’ve got a case," he said, handing him the report. "Tang Zijun, a wealthy businessman, is in a coma caused by car accident. I think it’s a deliberate act but for some reason the family haven’t filed a report yet."

Ru scanned the report, his expression growing more serious with each passing second. "This is big, Lee. We need to be careful. If they find out we’re investigating behind their backs, it could compromise the case."

Lee nodded. "I know. That’s why we need to keep this quiet. Let’s gather a team of trusted officers and start digging into Tang Zijun’s business dealings. I want to know who stood to gain from his accident."

The two detectives set to work, gathering a team of officers to help with the investigation. They spent the morning tracking down witnesses and gathering evidence from the scene of the accident.

By 10am they had a list of over 20 people who had been around Tang Zijun in the days leading up to the accident.

"It’s no use, it’s like all trace of evidence vanished after this point.."

Lee banged the table in annoyance as he stood up putting his hands in his pocket.

"We should just give up, the family never filed a report..."

Ru shrugged they weren’t reporters it was not part of their jobs to be this snoppy.

After passing by fifth avenue they were full speed to the airport. Tang Xue Mei had arranged two highly skilled men to protect her mother.

Su Huiying stared at Tang Xue Mei and her eyes reddened it seems her daughter had grown up.

Perhaps if she was in Xue Mei’s spot she would have cried and broke down but Tang Xue Mei was the complete opposite.

Su Huiying smiled removed her hand, she was a strong woman too, she would be able to take care of herself no matter where she was.

They said their finally goodbyes and soon Su Huiying had left in Feng Shihan’s private jet along with her two bodyguards.

Tang Xue Mei watched the private jet leave with a heavy heart, she took a deep breath and turned back.

Entering the car—"No time to waste, we have lots to do..."
