"I’m afraid you would grow over weighed.."

Tang Xue Mei hissed as she turned her face away begrudgingly.

"I think I just lost apetite and would like to go home. An Yu let’s go.."

Tang Xue Mei stood up feeling sleep she would like to return to the mansion to get some rest.

"Don’t make any detours, go home you’re already trouble some as it is.."

Tang Xue Mei ignored Feng Shihan, if she wanted to go somewhere she would but right now all she wanted to go was sleep.

An Yu stared at Feng Shihan but the man didn’t spare him a glance and returned to his work.

A sigh escaping his lips, An Yu turned back and left the house closing the door behind him.

It was a quick ride back to the mansion and Tang Xue Mei was already half asleep when they got there.

"Boss, boss.."

"Call me sister Xue Mei."

Tang Xue Mei opened her eyes and proceeded to get down from the car. She yawned, the small sleep she had gotten during the rude home wasn’t enough, what she needed was a good four hours nap.

"You can do whatever you like, I’m heading upstairs.."

An Yu nodded and walked to the couch, he could feel the cold and questioning gazes coming from butler Wang and Auntie Gu, they cleaned his wounds and feed him but he turned he back against them.

Butler Wang waited until Tang Xue Mei has gone up the stairs before speaking.

"You ungrateful child what are you doing here?"

An Yu stood up and bowed slightly at the two elders.

With the expression he saw on their faces when he raised his head, An Yu knew that they had not accepted his greetings.

"Sister Xue Mei hired new as her bodyguard..."

"You still work for that filthy organization after all these years I thought you would at least grow up.."

An Yu clenched his fists, he did grow up after that day he stopped taking jobs from the organization no matter what they did to him. He never accepted any buyers nor did he take jobs to track or kill.

"I’m sorry about what happened three years ago. But I can assure that I did change, there’s just something about sister Xue Mei that made me want to protect her, if not I can assure you that I haven’t taken any jobs since three years ago. I’m not asking that you forgiving me, I just hope you would know that I sincerely never wished to hurt brother Feng.."

An Yu gave them a small smile before sitting down.

Butler Wang sighed he wouldn’t gain their trust that easily, the young madam was pregnant and she had chosen the way man that betrayed the young master to protect her.

Who knows if he would be betray her during her time of need.

"The master won’t forgive that easily, he saw you as part of his family. That kind of trust once it’s broken..."

Butler Wang didn’t say anything and walked upstairs. He didn’t want to forgive the young man but he was not the type to hold grudges.

Auntie Gu didn’t say anything and instead went back to the kitchen.

An Yu was left alone in the empty living room. He sighed softly, this was what he get when he tried to let people into his heart, he hurt them and himself.

"Brother Feng no matter what happens, I will lay down my life to protect sister Xue Mei and you don’t have to bury my body just toss me inside a cold lake.."

An Yu nodded with determination, three years ago this man was ready to take a bullet for him so he would be ready to take a bullet for his wife when the times comes.

Tang Xue Mei took a quick shower, she didn’t hide the tub afraid she would fall asleep and get all wrinkly.

She found a light and comfortable shirt and shorts to wear it was only 3pm so there was no need for her to wear pajamas.

She placed her phone on the bedside table playing a soft tone.

Tang Xue Mei sighed with contentment slowly drifting off to sleep when the music stopped and her phone ringtone rang out.

"Who disturbeth my beauty sleep.."

She muttered annoyedly as she picked up the phone, her brows raised up when she saw the caller.

"Rong Shihua?"

She quickly picked the call and Rong Shihua anxious voice rang out.

"Sister-in-law where are you?"

"I’m at home, do you need anything you don’t sound like yourself.."

Tang Xue Mei asked worriedly, how did she get her number, she guessed she must have asked Feng Shiyan for it. And for her to call her in such a hurried manner that means she must be in trouble.

"I need your help, I’m at a cafe not far from the mansion.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded it was a small chic cafe where most of the occupants in the estate hanged around from tea.

"Alright I’ll be there.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled since it wasn’t far she would walk there, she had finally gotten the opportunity to lose some weight.

And watching the way she ate too wouldn’t be so sad. She wanted to watched her weight but at the same time not starve her babies.

Tang Xue Mei changed out of her clothes she wore a green floral dress with a watching floral themed sandals. She carried a small woolen bag and wore some sunglasses and sunscreen before leaving the room.

"Young madam where are you headed?"

"To the cafe not far from here.."

Butler Wang nodded which meant she was not planning on driving there.

"Take mister An Yu with you then.."

Tang Xue Mei shook her head it was short distance, she did not need to drive nor take An Yu with her.

She bid butler Wang goodbye before leaving the house.

An Yu waited until she had gotten past the gates before standing up and slipping out of the house.

Just because she didn’t want anyone to follow her didn’t mean she won’t be followed.

Tang Xue Mei didn’t walk for long before she got to the cafe, she wiped the sweat off her forehead perhaps she should have worn a sun hat instead.

Ding ding

The bell rung as Tang Xue Mei opened the doors. Drawing the customers attention to her for a short while before everyone turned back to continue what they were doing.

"Sister-in-law! Over here.."

Sitting at close to the window, Rong Shihua waved at Tang Xue Mei making her turn to her direction.

"Rong Shihua what happened to you, you’re bruised!"

Rong Shihua sighed as she touched her bruised chin gently. She didn’t expect she would get bullied despite coming from a rich family.

"You got bullied didn’t you?"

Rong Shihua chuckled it was surprising wasn’t it. She wasn’t expecting to be bullied in this new school for rich kids.

"I don’t even know why I got bullied, I guess it started when the boy talked to him during the first period after that I was literally getting hate notes and threats. I mean he’s handsome I guess but I didn’t expect I’ll get bullied for it. They even refused to eat in the same as me, I became an outcast for answering a question.."

Rong Shihua sighed drinking the boba angrily.

"Ah highschool that certainly takes me back, I mean I didn’t get bullied but I didn’t get death glares and threats but with my family name and my sister with me no one dared to bully me."

Tang Xue Mei stroked her chin she guessed the Rong family name wasn’t well known in the capital so the kids were less afraid.

"Has your mother seen this?"

"No..I told her I would be coming here after school.."

Tang Xue Mei nodded it was best not to let her see it or she would directly barge into the school looking for a fight.

"You came here because you want your brother and I to help you right?"

Rong Shihua laughed a little bit she came here because of Tang Xue Mei, her relationship with her brothers wasn’t exactly close they were just being nice to her.

"Well I just wanted you to help me but I guess I don’t mind including them as well.."

Tang Xue Mei smiled and nodded she had already thought of an elaborate plan to make Rong Shihua name well known that no one would dare to bully her.

"You stay over tonight, tomorrow we’ll drop you off at school and take care of those bullies.."

Rong Shihua smiled and nodded it was nice to have someone to talk to around her age.

"Aren’t you going to order something?"

"No no I just had lunch and I ate too much so I won’t be ordering today.."

Rong Shihua nodded and continued sipping her boba when she saw Tang Xue Mei staring at the window.

"The view is nice isn’t it?"

"Yeah I can see my pest of a bodyguard hiding there.."
