Chapter 85: Who Is Better?
(Karsten)
It would not have been a lie to say I had the upper hand today and was going to enjoy playing with her.
She underwent at least ten shades of red when I played her voice note and I could sense her struggles to not lash out at me.
Surprisingly enough she hadn’t figured out by then that she had even sent me that message.
Unsurprisingly, she told me to delete her voice note, so I decided to challenge her; knowing her rebellious spirit, I knew she would never back down.
She didn’t waver or think, just moved at my order.
With confident steps she glided towards me, covering the short distance between us. Reaching with her hand, she pulled off her wig and moved her head slowly left and right. The pinned-up, hidden, fiery halo of her ruby strands tumbled down, bouncing on her shoulders.
I could watch her do that, all day.
"Done, now what?" She asked, challenging me with her curious eyes. There was no fear or hesitance. I loved that boldness about her.
So I openly asked, lifting my hand that held the brandy glass.
"Want to see if your fake boyfriend can kiss you better or the one who left you needy in the middle of the night that you needed to pleasure yourself?"
I was dying to kiss her, the Saturday night, and that voice note had left me miserable, and I was just making excuses to touch her again.
A surprise swept past her face which she tried to hide by leaning forward and placing her wig and tablet on the desk I was leaning against.
The tips of her crimson waves touched my legs like static electricity and I stopped breathing for a second until she straightened up and faced me. Her face was slightly less crimson, now that she had found her composure.
"You can’t match him, make-believe boyfriend," she simply answered.
So she put my other self above me.
Was she disappointed in the kiss we shared in the garden?
Or was she just trying to vex me?
"I beg to differ or maybe you are afraid that I can surpass your boyfriend." I didn’t give up.
"The only thing I am afraid of is making the work dynamic awkward. If you had been paying attention, I never even said I had a boyfriend."
She pulled away some of her hair but kept the bold stance, her eyes unwavering.
She was right, she had only stated it was not meant for me.
"Professionalism is a thing, maybe I need to give you some classes, Miss Arata. Or perhaps you are afraid you won’t be able to resist and find me better than whoever left you hanging on Saturday night," I purposely teased again, my hungry eyes lingering on her full lips and then moving to her hair.
"I am ready, but remember your promise and don’t be disappointed when I speak the truth," she challenged back. The morning light from the window behind me had caught her blazing locks, and no matter what I did, I couldn’t peel my eyes off them and her.
I scoffed purposely.
"I wasn’t born to lose; besides it will be a good practice to better the chemistry between us for further family events. It was rather off this time around." I made another excuse.
She took another step closer and placed her hand on my hard chest, right above my heart. The stupid organ quickened its pace.
Such intense and warm blue her eyes held. The sprinkle of curiosity and shyness they tried to shield but I could see it clear as the day. I had started to understand her well due to my observations with my two different personalities.
"Let’s find out," her voice, low and challenging.
This was it, that did the trick for me as a low hum reverberated in my chest.
With my free hand, I reached out and slowly removed her glasses so I could stare into her radiant azure eyes.
Folding them, I placed them on her tablet and slowly answered.
"I hope you like brandy." With that, I moved my hand and took a deep gulp from the glass.
Placing it down, I grabbed her head and fisted her hair at the nape. Bringing my mouth down on hers in a whirlpool of emotions, I let our lips be merged together.
She hesitated for the slightest of seconds, her body going rigid, and I waited, but then she almost melted into my touch like ice turning to water.
Her soft hands clutched my shirt while I tightened my hold on her tresses, angling her head. The brandy swirled into my mouth as I slowly spilt some of it into hers.
She gasped, opening her mouth more, and I pulled, crossing my legs around her calves. She came willingly.
I kissed her in passion and lust—swirling in emotions I couldn’t control. They came tumbling out like popcorn does from a hot pot.
Her perfume I greedily inhaled as I dripped the brandy slowly and subtly into her hot mouth. She drank greedily, her heart pumping against mine as she moved her hands and held my shoulders tightly. Holding onto me and the wet kiss we were sharing.
My other hand slid down to the small of her back and rubbed while my lips did the same on hers.
She moaned breathlessly as more of the brandy trickled down her throat, and she took it all like a champion.
I extracted both my hands and clasped her oval face, deepening the kiss as if I had no intention of letting her go. My tongue was now ready to invade her wet cavity, to roam with hers, to own hers.
Without even realising I turned with her in my arms and pushed her against the desk while ramming the whole of my tongue inside her inviting mouth.
She tasted like cherries and wild roses and something unique, something only she possessed.
We kissed until our tastes mingled into one.
Her hands left my shoulders and went to the desk for support, trying to steady herself as she leaned back.
I wanted to swipe everything off my desk, have her sprawl against it and tear open her blouse so her ample breasts would spill out. But I knew that would be going too far.
The itch to bury me in her lower softness also invaded my brain, and I could feel myself going hard when her hands landed on my chest, and she lightly pushed me back.
Instantly, I stopped knowing she didn’t want to continue. Our lips parted and an annoyed growl almost escaped me if I hadn’t checked myself on time.
None of us moved for a fraction of a second, nor did I let go of her flustered face. Her eyes, brimming with shyness, slowly lifted to find mine, and the world stopped spinning.
My blue rose was so precious, so fresh and so mine.
Her chest rose and fell in quick succession, and her lipstick had been smeared because of my actions, but still, she wouldn’t peel her eyes away from mine.
And then she spoke, breaking the spell between us.
"He is better."
