Chapter 239: Sickness In Ranold’s Head

(Ranold)

Every part of my life was calculated chaos, orbiting around revenge for my father.

A father I never met because of Arata’s parents. The father who could have been my mentor.

The thought which always fuelled my hatred for her.

While we were the same age, Arata had spent a life exactly opposite to mine—surrounded by her family, her grandma, and a sibling. All of them showered her with love and affection.

I, on the other hand, couldn’t even meet my grandmothers on either side. One didn’t know I existed, the other had banished my mother after her involvement with the kidnapping of Arata’s mother and her own incarceration.

I never had many friends growing up, because of how frequently we needed to move. So computers and technology became my best pals.

A need to dig out as much information as I could related to my father made me search deeper into the computing world and learn the way it operated.

Hacking other’s secrets became my hobby and I felt invincible.

But that was a secret I never shared with anyone. To others, I was just a regular guy with mediocre computer skills. Even Karsten was unaware of it.

My father, whom I had never met, became my hero.

I had inherited his good looks. Same blonde hair and eyes, that coldness that reflected back as if staring into the other’s soul.

Even my jawline was similar to him.

Watching his short videos on the internet taught me how to carry myself in public and how to charm the ladies.

A magnetic smile, toned body and false sense of care were all they needed to fall at your feet.

My mother kept fueling my personality with hatred for Arata and her family. Telling me, it’s because of them I never had a father or a whole family.

I thrived on pain and revenge.

On chaos and hatred but discreetly.

I knew where to use my charms and how to crawl under someone’s skin to disarm them.

Except Arata. She was tough to crack.

My charms didn’t work on her, she was too smitten by Karsten.

So I decided to sow the seed of doubt in her heart against him. My computer skills helped me in remaining undetected and then I learnt about Urisa.

Getting her heart shattered by Karsten I knew she would seek revenge against Arata. All I needed to do was convince her that both of us had the same objective.

’Destroy Arata and her family.’

Her grandfather had been a Mafia Lord, and Zyair Kincaid had put him behind bars by testifying against him.

From then on, her family had seen a downfall and couldn’t hold the position in Angel City anymore. Other families took over.

They ended up moving to Sparia in hopes of collaborating with the Toledo family. Urisa’s family bonded with Karsten’s and they had hoped the childhood sweethearts would become life partners and rule the Sparia together.

She was hellbent on exacting revenge against Arata’s family.

Sadly, for Urisa, Karsten had other plans. He was a coward deep down, afraid of the power that came with Mafia roots. He often discussed how it kept him awake at night, the screams and darkness that came with this position.

Once you get initiated, you can’t say no to jobs given.

The Council of Elders asks you to take a life, you do it without question.

If I had been in his place, I would have accepted the chance with both hands.

Pathetically, he resisted and then went on to fall in love with Arata.

Becoming softer. He lost his touch and brought his guard down completely.

That’s how Urisa and I were able to get to him and capture Arata.

Urisa shared the darkness I carried, she understood what needed to be done to get revenge and she was ready to go to any length.

Helping me record videos to send Arata. Writing her scary messages, planting the masks. These were all Urisa’s plans and I ravished her psychotic episodes.

Urisa matched my personality. My ideology. My vision. She was what I needed to be complete.

With her mind and body, literally.

Buried deep inside her warmth from behind, I groaned. Grabbing her long hair, I fiercely pulled, and she squealed. Her back arched like a taut violin string.

Her hands gripped the headboard, bleaching her knuckles.

I pistoned inside her, hard and fast.

"Bloody hell! You feel so good, Ranold. More, I need more of you," she begged, throwing her head back and screaming in ecstasy.

I pulled her hair some more, bending her head backwards, the veins in her slender neck stood out.

So prominent, so inviting.

My teeth found their way to her neck as I bit down and held her in position while our bodies collided.

Hard, warm and slick.

My other hand reached out and grabbed her perked-up nipple.

So soft, so ready to be pinched.

I squeezed wildly. Eliciting loud cries from her.

"Awaaa! Grrrrr! More, please, more," she moaned so loudly, making my brain want to invade her body more.

I rammed into her again, more fiercely this time. My thickness invaded her wetness with precision.

Too bad her breasts were the only soft and squishy spots, she was too thin for my taste. Only if she had a body like Arata’s. The thought of having my way with her erupted in my brain.

It excited me and yet repelled me at the same time.

But it would break her and most importantly it would break her family.

Her damned father and arrogant mother.

That defiance she carried, that bratty mouth of hers. I thought losing her hair would shut her up but it didn’t.

Maybe she needed a proper dose of me.

After finishing with Urisa, she was reduced to a heap of mess. I left her on the bed and washed myself up.

Exiting the bathroom, I threw on sweatpants and a grey hoodie.

I was too wasted to try another round with Arata but that didn’t mean I couldn’t make her bleed. Tomorrow, I would send her father a message and tell him to reveal to the world how he killed and buried my father.

Tonight I would just make his daughter bleed and cry.

Beg for her life, like my father must have done.

My phone rang and I saw, it was a call from Caysir.

What did he want?

Karsten had been radio silent since she was taken but Caysir had informed me that Arata had gone missing.

Although I had called Karsten several times to keep appearances.

"Hello!"

"Mr Whittle, sorry to bother you but can I borrow your jeep? I need to run some errands and the police have confiscated all of Mr Karsten’s vehicles."

Good, the police were already making their move against him.

"Oh! So serious. Is Karsten safe?" I questioned, lacking interest but only feigning it.

"Yes, he is safe."

"Come by and take the keys and keep me updated on the situation. I am so worried," I answered in a fake tone.

"I will. So are we." The call ended, and with sure steps, I approached the underground room in my bungalow.

Throwing the door open, I came face to face with the stubborn woman.
