My Blacksmith System: Transforming my Weapons into Beautiful Maidens -
Chapter 54: Save him.
Chapter 54: Save him.
"You know..." Rouga frowned a bit, staring at the two ladies in front of him. "Just because you’re women doesn’t mean I’ll go easy on you. This is me giving you the chance to rethink your actions and make a break for it."
Daki sighed. "I really do hate your kind. My master seems to be the only exception. The rest of you are only chattering monkeys."
"What was that?" Rouga felt pressed, his brows arcing towards the middle.
"You heard what I said. Let’s get this over with already. I don’t like keeping my master waiting." Daki did not care whatever Rouga was feeling—she was that confident.
Rouga suddenly pointed at her. "You speak as if this master of yours is some kind of god. What? Are you trying to say I am somehow beneath him?"
"I’m not trying to say anything. You are beneath. My master is simply perfect, the embodiment of perfection. You can’t see that because you are simply not worthy," Daki spoke back.
Satella was simply at the side, occasionally looking outside the huge wall to make sure Rashin was alright.
"You’re starting to piss me off," Rouga scowled.
"I most definitely don’t care. For a man, you talk way too much."
As soon as she said these words, Rouga hit his limit and aimed his laser at her, the fast-moving beam shooting out of his finger.
Daki immediately blocked it with her barrier, allowing Satella to take the opportunity to charge forward, flames dancing around her hands.
Getting close to her target, Satella’s eyes glowed as she released the burst of flames.
Rouga was quick, using the very beams he controlled to make a small shield in front of him. And while he was able to protect his body, his fingers still got burnt.
But that wasn’t exactly what surprised him the most.
With a face of fear, he whispered to himself, ’She can hurt me?’
From the side, Daki appeared, holding a metal bar she had created with her powers, and smashed it against Rouga’s face.
He went crashing to the ground, landing in the hallway where a maid had just walked out of a room.
Lying on the ground with a bruise on his face, he slowly raised his hand and noticed the burns were not healing. Instead, black streaks began to grow from the injuries.
’They are not healing. Why are they not healing?!’ He began to panic, his entire face carrying an utterly disgusted expression.
Looking below him, he noticed Satella and Daki were walking towards him.
One born from flames and the other, a sheer force of her master’s will.
The aura that surrounded them was none other than the very aura he felt on that man—the man that was nicknamed the Hakia Slayer.
’He... he can give people his powers now?!’ Rouga thought, fear completely overwhelming him.
In that moment, Rouga knew he couldn’t win in a fight against the two of them—not after they carried the accursed power that was the white cell aura.
"Stay away from me!!!" Rouga yelled, turning around and crawling away from where Daki and Satella were.
He grabbed the maid by the legs and tossed her towards the maidens so he could get a chance to run away.
While Satella caught the maid, Daki charged forward, constructing a blade that she proceeded to use to stab Rouga in the foot so he couldn’t run.
Rouga felt it—huge flow of white cell aura, completely penetrating his foot.
"Get away from me!"
Rouga shot his beams desperately, aiming them at everything but his intended target.
Taking another knife, Daki stabbed both his hands to the ground before taking another blade and placing it at the tip of Rouga’s throat.
"Wait, wait! Don’t kill me!" Rouga panicked. "I can help you take Sixth down, I promise!"
"Sixth? Oh, you’re talking about the dead woman that dared to provoke my master? Why on earth do you think I’d need your help in any way?" Daki spoke.
Rouga dripped with sweat, his eyes moving back and forth as he tried to find an excuse—any excuse that would make Daki spare his life.
"Y... you need my help. O... or else, your master will surely die."
Daki glared. "You have five seconds. Talk," she said.
Back in the main room, Eri had completely healed Yuki, although she could not stand to her feet.
The reason being, almost all her energy had been drained after getting stabbed by those shadow spikes.
All she could do was sit on the ground, her back resting on the chair.
"We... we need to go..." she said in a low voice, her black hair falling in front of her face.
Yuki tried to stand to her feet, only to fall back down to the ground, her back hitting the floor.
"Easy! You haven’t recovered yet!" Eri immediately took to her side, trying to carry her up.
Suddenly, Yuki grabbed her by the hand, staring intensely into her eye.
"S... ave him," she slightly uttered.
Confused, Eri replied, "Save him?"
"S... he’s... dangerous. He... can’t win... y... you need to take me there."
He? Eri soon realized who Yuki was talking about.
"You’re worried about Rashin? You shouldn’t. He always ends up winning," Eri said with a somewhat worried face. "Besides, it’s no longer 2 vs 1. He knows how to handle himself well against one person."
"You’re n...ot listening. I... I need to help him, or he’ll die." Yuki tried to pull herself up. "I need to help him."
"Rashin always told me that anytime he fights, I should stay far away from where it’s happening. If I go, he’ll most definitely get mad at me," said Eri, looking to the side as the decision began to weigh down on her.
"He won’t have the choice to be mad if he is dead, Eri... please!"
Taking a deep breath, she slightly slapped herself on the cheeks.
"Alright, fine. Let’s go then, but you better take the blame for this. Rashin isn’t exactly the calm, angry type," she said as she gently lifted Yuki from the ground, placing her arm around her shoulder to support Yuki’s weight.
---
Outside the mansion.
Rashin took a fighting stance, two daggers in his hands while fusing his body with the white cell aura.
Though he wasn’t afraid, he could still tell Echidna was leagues above the other Hakias he had fought.
Then again, considering how potent his aura was, he doubted she could withstand it.
Echidna suddenly sighed. "Are you dumb? You must be dumb. No, perhaps stupid—nah, even that isn’t nearly enough to describe that brain of yours. You can sense it, can you not? How strong I am, and you still want to fight me? Uhnnn?!!!"
Rashin gave a pensive expression, his grip tightening around his blade.
"Oh, I see what it is. Your hatred for Hakias has more value than your own life. Hahaha, such a weird human. Still... you are very foolish if you think that’s enough strength to kill me!"
From beneath her foot, shadow attacks launched themselves. Like speeding beams, they charged towards Rashin.
’Let’s go.’
[Speed Blitz.]
Rashin charged forward, using his daggers to slash the shadows one by one. Despite their numbers increasing, he still had the upper hand.
From sliding on his knees to taking high stunts several feet above the ground, Rashin made sure he was always at the top in terms of power.
Gradually, he began to close the distance, his daggers slicing up as many as he could, while also activating his skill, [Magic Lasers], to destroy as many as he could anytime he felt he was getting cornered.
Echidna watched, barely impressed by the sight in front of her.
Yet, she noticed her limbs were shaking just at the very sight of the man before her.
’Am I... afraid?’ she asked herself, shock evident on her face.
In just the brief moment she took to look away from Rashin, he had already completely sliced through the shadows blocking his path and was now heading toward her.
She frowned. "Tsk! Don’t get cocky, I was just—"
It took a single blink. That was all it took—a single blink—for Rashin to appear in front of her, his dagger already aimed at her neck.
"Die," Rashin said with a chill aura.
’Eh? When did he—?’ Echidna could barely believe her eyes.
Fusing himself with more than enough white cell aura, Rashin sunk his blade into her neck, allowing the energy to fill every part of it before he began to dig deeper.
"Damn bastard!" Echidna yelled before taking a huge leap back.
And there Rashin stood, confusion hitched on his face as he noticed the injury he had inflicted on Echidna was no longer there.
Even the blood that had stained his hand when he sliced her neck had vanished.
Lowering his hand, Rashin stared at her for a while, trying to understand what had happened.
But one thing bothered him the most—his white cell aura was missing inside her. He was sure he had infused it into her.
"What the hell... just happened?" he blurted out.
