Chapter 63: GAVI IS HERE NOW

Dante listened to Senior Sterling with his pupils shaking with emotions. Hearing whatever Senior Sterling had to say, it was evident that Senior sterling already had all this in mind, and was only waiting for the confession. Also, he was giving him time and energy. Now it was upto him of how he would be using the opportunity and time.

Just then the Butler entered the room with a wide smile on his face, "Senior Master," he was about to speak, when he saw Dante kneeling in front of where Senior Sterling was seated. The young man seemed emotional, while the room’s atmosphere was a little stiff, highly in contrast with how he had seen it while leaving. But he said nothing and just smiled kindly.

Senior Sterling and Dante must be having some emotional talk. It was not surprising given the relationship between the two of them.

Senior Sterling then looked at Dante and said with humour, "Young man, now stop kneeling and brawling your eyes out, and up. You don’t want people assuming that I am bullying you, do you? I haven’t even scolded you properly! No way, I am taking any blame."

Danet chuckled lightly, as he saw Senior Sterling get back to his usual self and he nodded his head, before standing up. He had just turned to go back to his couch, when the Butler announced, "Senior Master! Young Miss, and Little Master are here."

And Dante froze in his place. His heart pumped like never before. T- They are already here? Dante should be happy and dancing and twirling in the sky, but no! he was nervous when the moment finally arrived. Gulping, he slowly turned around to see Senior Sterling look at the Butler with a wide smile. But then, he slowly turned towards Dante, before smiling at him and nodding.

After a while,

"Great grandpa~ I am here!" The little Gavriel ran through the corridors, before rushing inside Senior Sterling’s room, jumping straight in Senior Sterling’s arms. The old man caught the little bundle of energy, laughing and nodded his head, "You little boy, how are you doing?"

Gavriel raised his slightly flushed face, as he came here running as soon as he got down the car. Gavriel nodded his head and said, "I am very fine, great grandpa! And how are you?" The old man too nodded his head, his usually tired face now beaming brightly. "I am fine too, my boy."

Gavriel then pouted his lips slightly and he said, "But grandpa, I am not happy. I had been so long, and you had not visited me at all. I am upset!" Saying that, he folded his little chubby hands showing that he is upset, whilst puffing his cheeks.

Senior Sterling laughed as he combed the hair from the little guy’s face, and said, "Little Gavi, you see I am now old. So I cannot move around very much. My limbs are now old and not very energetic like yours, isn’t it?"

Gavi looked at the old man while agreeing in his head that indeed his great grandpa looked way more aged then what he looked last time when he visited them. And that was months ago. After that, he would only look at him during face time calls.

Gavi then smiled and shrugged and said cheerfully, "It’s alright, grandpa! I am here now! So what if you couldn’t go and meet me, but I ma here to meet you now. Gavriel will be with you and play with you now!" Hearing his cheerful voice, and looking at his bright face, Senior Sterling’s eyes softened and he gently pinched his face.

The little boy looked at him, and looking at him Senior Sterling could see the unmistakeable resemblance Gavi had with Dante. Anyone who had seen Dante when he was little, would relate him with the boy.

"Where is your mamma, Gavi? Senior Sterling asked curiously. And Gavi answered, "She must be coming! The Butler Grandpa were helping her take down the luggage from the car, she must be coming." He said with a light shrug.

And just then, Dove entered the room. She wore a soft smile on her face, and called out, "How are you doing, grandpa?" Senior Sterling’s face shown with untold happiness, and he looked at Dove entering. He nodded his head and said, "I am doing exactly how you left me! But you naughty girl, let me tell you that if you would have delayed coming home then I would be sending people to kidnap you and bring you home! Humph!"

Dove giggled at her grandfather complaining and she went to sat near him, and then said, "Grandpa, I also wished to come back soon. But at least I had to pack up my work before I left in the company."

Senior Sterling looked at his granddaughter from the corner of his eyes and huffed, "Such a workaholic you have turned into." And on hearing this, Dove giggled again and held the old man’s arm and whined cutely just like what she did when she was younger, "Yes! And that I learned from you and dad! Hihi!"

The old man pursed his lips looking at him from the corner of his eyes, and di not say anything else, because well, it was true. And then he laughed.

"Old Master, Young Miss, Little Master, here are some refreshments! Please get freshened up, the dinner is almost ready." Butler Joe said with a wide, as it was a very happy occasion of Dove coming back home. And he entered the room with some little snacks and glasses of juices.

Dove smiled at the Butler before she reached out of a glass, and thanked him. She said, "We will have dinner a while later." To which Butler Joe nodded. And then Gavriel turned around to take the glass of juice, and he look up at the Butler and said, "Thank you, Grandpa Butler!" he cripped before taking a big sip. But as he did it, Butler Joe froze seeing his face.
