Dove looked at him in surprise, and Dante too turned towards her and smirked before shrugging and said, "It is always a good thing to hang out with friends, don’t you think? Moreover, when the friend is so pretty, talented and successful. One should never give away any chance to grab on this opportunities. Who knows when you get to ride on the cocktails."

At this being said, Dove blinked her eyes a couple of times, before the both of them burst out laughing. Then pressing her lips in a smile she said, "Given your identity, Dante, I doubt what you said. In fact, I should be the one at the gaining side, isn’t it?" Dante shrugged casually and said, "Well, I don’t mind that. You are always welcome."

"Yours words... I just can’t" Dove chuckled shaking her head. They shared a little more moment of comfortable silence, then it was Dove who asked, "So Dante, tell me about your company. Though I have nothing direct with that industry and field, but even then I have heard really a lot about the Fort Groups. After all, your company does come in the business headlines quite a number of times."

Fort Group was currently the leading security providing company, and that indirectly means that it has its connections with the top executives and CEO’s of almost all the other industry’s companies, political leaders, and other many influential figures, who sought out for their protection. And when they come in headlines, for various reasons, specially when anything remotely close to their security, the Fort Groups too come into the talk.

Moreover, the most prominent news that this group has made in the recent years was how they had raised to be the most reliable security company in just a couple of years, specially after the new mysterious CEO took over the charge. And it has been in Dove’s mind to ask Dante about it. She couldn’t find a perfect time for it all this while. She want to listen about it from him, and maybe learn something or a two from him, that would help her with handling Sterling Corporations.

And Dante was more than happy to indulge in any kind of conversation with her. He readily told her about what were the big measures that he took, and some of the decisions he took and why. Dante also gave her a little inside news, while Dove listened to all of this with great interest and attention. After he was done, Dove nodded her head with an impressed smile. Everything Dante said, and how he spoke, Dove all the while felt that she was indeed listening to someone who has accomplished a significant something.

And while, Dante was talking about business and everything, it felt like his entire persona has changed. It wasn’t like how friendly and casual he was normally around him. But he looked and sounded so much more focused, attentive and deep. And it wasn’t something Dove disliked at all. If anything, whatever respected Dove had for Dante in her mind, it increased by two fold.

After listening him done, Dove then asked something that has been in her mind, "Then Dante, what had been your motive push all your way up to the top? For instance, everyone has a reason or a goal for which they keep on doing something. And for you to just gear up to the top, you must also have had something very important reason in your life?"

You. That was what Dante wanted to say the first second when Dove asked him that. Of course, he had the reason, and that was her. But he most probably can’t say that out loud, isn’t it? Not so soon, at least.

Nodding his head, he looked briefly in front and said, "I did have." Then turned back to look at her and said, "Initially, when I took over the company first, I only had one goal in mind that I had to take my father’s company that he had brought this far to even higher lengths. But then soon, my aim in life changed. I realised that I not only had to take care of the company and take it to higher heights, but I had my own people to protect. People, whom I love and cherish a lot, those who are my own, and whom I cannot bear to let anything happen. They were someone whom I wanted to give everything in life that I could. And that could only happen, when I myself had that power. And that would only happen when I would be on the top. So that’s it."

Dove looked at Dante, as appreciation shone in her eyes. One thing that any person would find it appreciable about a man was his ability to make firm decision and the power to try and get it done. Or at least give his all to let that thing happen. And currently, hearing him speak, Dove found that about him. As expected of the title people give him.

Dove looked at him with appreciation in her eyes. "Then who are in your family, Dante?"

Dante smiled at her and said, "My dad, if you ask me about my direct family. My mom passed away shortly after I was born. And then there is my father’s sister’s family, whom I also consider as my own. And then I have a cousin too. Though, she could be annoying sometimes, she is someone I have seen her grow."

Then Dante thought of something and then after a moment of brief thought he said, "And what about you, Dove?" Dove was slightly confused and asked with a small chuckle, "What about me, Dante? Don’t you already know almost everything about my family?"

To which, Dante shook his head and said, "It is not about that. What I want to ask you is, what about you thought about the future? About romance and marriage? I know that you keep Gavi as you first priority, but you still must have a thought of that for your own, isn’t it?"
