Chapter 150: FATHER, YOU ARE LATE

And hiding there he saw and heard all that transpired inside. And when he saw Dante tucking that piece of hair behind her , little Gavi huffed lightly and shook his head tsking, "Hmph! That man surely likes my momma!"

Then the next second, he also saw that his momma did not push his hand away or pull herself back, the way he had seen her do when other uncles back in then would try to touch her. But surprisingly, he saw that his momma’s face was red. Was she blushing? Because it was identical to how those actresses in the movies and dramas would act when the person they like touch them!

Or was his momma so angry that she froze and her face had turned red in rage? Gavi tried to come up with new theories. But then when he saw how things transpired next, he finally came to a conclusion that... *Sigh*

’Father, whoever you are, you are already late.’ Gavi sighed and shook her head. And then he pressed his lips and narrowed his eyes. But it will not be easy for you too, Uncle Dante! Though, I really like you, but I am not going to give away my mom’s hand to you, without testing you if you are the best for the momma.

And then he knocked on the door, and pushed it slightly open, "Momma! May I come in?" Dove and Dante who was laughing and talking, their attention was caught by him, and turning towards him, Dove called him to her lovingly, "Yes darling?" Gavi childishly smiled at them, before he excitedly made his way to his momma and said, "Momma, actually I forgot to show you something."

Dove too gave all her attention to him, and asked interestedly, "Hm, what is it?" And he pulled out a paper from behind him, an said showing it to her, "Momma, see! Our home teacher took a surprise test of our class, and I got three stars!"

He held it in front of her, showing it to her with utmost. Dante too leaned forward to have a glance at it, and noticing that, Gavi showed him the paper too. Dove’s and Dante’s eyes lit up in appreciation and they looked at him with softened gaze. Dove then pulled him towards her, wrapping her arms around him, and kissing on his bubbly soft cheeks and said, "My baby is the smartest." And just like how a wax would melt, Gavi looked almost identical. His cheeks turned red, and he blushed happily.

Dante too reached out to pat on his head and ruffle his head, saying, "Very good, Gavi." After all, being a father, he too felt happy on seeing his son come to them and show them his test result happily.

So, this is what it means when they saw the small joys of family that makes life worth living.

Gavi turned towards Dante and grinned happily. He also liked when Uncle Dante ruffled his head. It was as if Gavi felt even more proud of himself.

But then he remembered something else, and his eyes instantly turned narrowed as he looked at Dante.

And at this, Dante was left dumb stuck not knowing how to react. What happened so suddenly to have this little kid glaring at him?!

In the evening, Gavriel was in his room, when he heard a series of knocks on his door, followed by Dante’s voice, "Gavi, I am coming in."

"Okay!" Gavi answered in his childish sweet voice, and Dante pushed the door open and came in to find, Gavi already in his sports wear, but lying on the bed, looking through somethings like magazines.

Dante strode in and asked, "Gavi, you remember that you had promised me that you are going to exercise in the evening, right?" As Gavi had no school today, he had begged Dante to let him sleep in the morning today, and not wake him up early. He at least had to complete one of his dreams where he was going to save the chocolate chips world!

And yesterday after seeing the little boy begging so frantically, where he was just short of holding his leg and being dragged all around the house, Dante gave in. But he had to promise him that he would exercise in the evening. And Gavi had agreed very happily.

And now they were here...

Gavi looked at Dantw with a pout, before sighing dejectedly. And now, Dante was accustomed to it. It wasn’t as if this little boy hated workouts. He actually enjoys it, when they start exercising. But then he also had all this everyday mandatory drama.

But just then, Gavi’s eyes fell on the penguin shaped wall clock and his eyes brightened and he said, "Uncle Dante! There is still ten minutes left to five o clock! You said that we will exercise from five o clock! So I get ten minutes more~"

Dante’s eyebrows raised at his words, and he turned around to see that it was indeed ten minutes left and then looking at the joyful expression on the muchkin’s face, as if he has just accomplished something huge, Dante shrugged and said, "Alright, ten minutes you get then!"

"Haah!" he laughed and got back on looking at the magazine. Dante too glanced at him curiously, sitting on the bed. He saw that the magazine was about the top models and actors in the present.

And seeing that, his eyebrows raised and he immediately remembered how Gavi would at times take the names of various TV and movie stars as reference many times. And at that time Dante had many times wondered that was his son interested in that industry. So, taking this as a chance to raise the topic, Dante asked, "Gavi, are you interested in the entertainment industry?"

"Huh?" Gavi looked up at him in question and Dante nodded, "Do you like the TV and movie industry? Or perhaps do you want to be a part of it?"
