Dove heard a knock on her door when she had just finished reviewing a file and was stretching her arms. She instinctively turned back towards the door, and the next second heard a charming voice, "May I come in, Miss CEO?"

Hearing Dante’s voice, Dove smiled before saying, "Yes, you may." And then she saw the door push open a little, as Dante peeked in to show his handsome face, before entering. "Did I come at a right time? I am not disturbing anything, am I?"

Dove turned to look at him, before shaking her head, and said, "No, it’s a perfect time." And saying so, she out down the files she had in her hand seeing Dante come in, and sit in front of her.

Leaning forward excitedly, she asked with her excited eyes, "How did I do it? How was it?" Normally, Dove would never ask anyone such question after she takes a decision about something. But this time, she wanted to ask. After all, it was his brilliant idea to get those shares. He told her to get it all up, instead to just scaring them and leaving. Who knows that they plan out something behind her back after sometime, and then she would be left with no option?

And that she did.

Dante smiled at her, and tilted his head and said, "You were really. You looked like a gorgeous bully." Hearing him, Dove blinked her eyes, then pressed her lips together and frowned a little. "Why does it sound a little ...." Rude!?

Bully? That doesn’t really sound good.

And seeing her face, and almost reading her mind, Dante chuckled and said, "It was not in a wrong sense, Dove." He had a pleasant feeling in his heart, while having this conversation with her, because he can see that Dove had already let in side her guard, and was friendly to him compared to how she treated most of the other people.

Leaning forward towards her a little, he then said, "Then will you believe me if I say that you looked so cool and gorgeous today that you took my breath away?"

"..." Dove felt her breath hitch and she froze in her place, staring at Dove with her unblinking gaze, and Dante too held her gaze with his own. She opened her mouth to say something but then closed it back not really having anything to say. Her cheeks felt warm, and he feared if they became red.

It was not the first time that any man had said something like this to her. In fact, she had met numerous men who had even more flirted with her, and never had she ever felt or reacted like this to anything they said. She even felt kind of ick, or funny. But why the hell was her heart beating so loudly at this point.

Is it because how good looking Dante looked at this moment, or the way he held her gaze with so much intensity.

Meanwhile, Dante was at the ’don’t judge me by my face’ phrase. Because only he knew at what rate his heart was beating like crazy. But then, he even felt butterflies flying in his tummy, as he looked at how Dpve was blushing to his words, and he felt like flying at this.

At that very moment, the piece of hair strand that Dove had tucked behind her hairs fell loose in front of her face. And Dove did not even seem to notice it. They continued to hold each other’s gaze, as if the universe had locked their gazes to one another.

And Dante like a moth drawn to fire, he raised his hand to move the strand of hair from in front of her face, and tuck it back behind her ears. That made Dove jolt back to her sense, and if she was not sure a while ago, then she was now a hundred percent sure that her face was a burning mess. And seeing back, Dante couldn’t help but chuckle endearingly.

At this point, Dante too realised that it wouldn’t be best to push his luck forward any more. Who knows if she would just kick him away from her study in embarrassment. And that was definitely what Dante would wish for! And he instantly changed the topic. "By the way, congratulations on securing the deal of ten percent shares of the Davis Enterprise. I looked up on it, and I must say it is a impressive amount."

Hearing him say that, Dove narrowed her eyes, and said, "It sounds more like you want to say that I bullied that ten percent shares out of them, huh?" Dante pressed his lips together tightly barely keeping himself from laughing, his expressions screaming, ’Did you not?’

And seeing him do that, Dove scoffed and said, "Laugh, laugh. It was your idea anyway. So if I am a bully, then that makes you the headmaster of bullies!"

Seeing her get more defensive, Dante found her even more endearing and he chuckled and nodded his head, "Yes, yes. Did I ever deny that? So you should become my disciple, I will help you bully even bigger deals out of people, what say?" And saying that, Dante stretched out his hand for a shake, and wiggled his eyebrows at her.

Dove looked at him first in disbelief and then she laughed. Looking down at the stretched hand, she clasped it, and shook, "Then I will be counting on you, headmaster." And Dante nodded his head with an air of superiority and said, "You are now under my wing disciple."

And the next second, laughter broke out in the study.

And unknown to them, a little figure was there at the door, peeking and eavesdropping about what was happening inside. His eyes fell on the clasped hand, and his eyes narrowed. He was already on his way to his mom, when he saw Uncle Dante e ntering, so Gavi decide to eavesdrop to know what was happening inside, Now, now, hew knew that it was a bad manner and all. And he would probably be getting an earful of scolding again of anyone caught him. But only if someone caught him, isn’t it? And he giggled evilly and carried on.
