Chapter 106: ONE POINT FOR UNCLE DANTE

"Gavriel."

"Gavriel, here." The voice called again, and Dante’s eyes slightly widened. Ah!

That’s Uncle Dante’s voice. He raised his head to look at the source of voice at once, and when he spotted Dante, his smile windened.

There was his momma standing too! They came to get him.

Soha who was standing beside him, still waiting, she looked at Gavriel with a smile and said to him excitedly, "Gavriel, your Dad and Mom have come."

"Umh!" He nodded his head excitedly, before he made sure to peek at them to make sure that Dante or Dove did not hear his friend. But thankfully, they were at some distance so they didn’t. Because, if Gavi were to be honest, he did like to be called in the same sentence with ’Mom’ and ’Dad’.

And then he bid his friends goodbye, before he ran towards them. "Momma! Da- Uncle Dante!" he squealled as he rushed, and on the process his tongue was about to slip, after his going on with his friend’s flow of calling Dante his dad.

But never mind, neither Dove nor Dante noticed it. Dove was quick to catch her little son, who came rushing to get arms. She hugged him before carrying him in her arms, while Dante very easily took his school bag from his shoulders, letting him get comfortable in his mother’s arms.

Gavi hugged his mother, and for a moment hid his face in his mother’s nape, and then pulling out of the embrace, she smiled at her widely.

Dove and Dante walked towards their car, and Dove combed her son’s hairs with her fingers, and asked, "So how was your first day at school today, baby?" And Gavi grinned at his mother widely and nodded his head at her, "Mom! It was so... Nice! Do you know the teacher praised me to getting the answers right! And then all the other kids were in so much awe of my drawing. They even asked me to draw and colour something for them too!"

Dove and Dante listened to Gavi recountimg everything that happened today, with so much excitement and it made their mood elevate too. They were also very happy that their child had a good day at school on his first day.

As they reached their car, Dante opened the back door for Dove and Gavi, and they got inside the car, before he got in the driver’s seat.

And Dove asked, "So baby, how did you like your first day at school today? It is not as scary as you were thinking it would be, isn’t it?"

And Gavi blinked before he shook his head with a giggle and said, "No! I don’t dislike it now." He rubbed the back of his neck and grinned, "You know mommy, I was being silly. School is actually a fun place!"

Dove laughed and she said, "Is it? And school is a place where you need to go give days a week. Are you ready for that? You are not going to complain, are you?"

Gavi blinked his big eyes again, and laughed, "No! I am not going to complain. I will go."

Gavi then sighed, as he rubbed his tummy and lifted his head to look at his momma and said, "Momma, I am hungry."

Dove touched his cheeks and asked, "Did you not have your lunch, darling?" To which Gavi nodded his head, and said, "I did! But I am still hungry."

Dove nodded her head. Anyway, it was already lunch time, and Dante proposed that they should go eat outside somewhere. And he said that, he knew a good restuarant.

And hearing him, Gavi turned excited at once and said, "Yay~ we are going out to eat." And he started doing a little happy dance on the car seat. And looking at him, Dove and Dante couldn’t help but chuckle happily.

This little boy was really a ball of happiness and energy. And one would automatically feel happy being around this little kid.

When Dante drove into the parking area, Dove noticed the high class dining place, and she raised an eyebrow, "Oh, here."

Dante looked back with a smile, before he got off the car, and went to open the door for Dove and Gavi before Dove herself would. And he asked, "You know of this place, Miss Dove."

And Dove nodded her head and said, "Yes, while we were still abroad, Lisa would have to frequent back here because of her shoots. And she used to tell me that this restuarant is a fine fine area, with gold reviews. She had come here a few times, and a few dinners were hosted by her crews here as well.

These place were one of those places, Lisa used to tell that she would bring me and Gavi to once we came back to the country."

Dove said with a smile.

And then Gavi chimed from the side, "But aunty Lisa is late. And your brought us here first. One point for you. Zero for Aunty Lisa!" And saying that, Gavi raised a thumb and winked his eyes at Dante playfully.

Dove and Dante chuckled. And Dante as he ruffled Gavi’s hairs, Dove said, "This is no competition, baby. Your Aunty Lisa is busy with her shoots. Her schedule has been very busy lately. Also we are here it had only been four days. We were also busy. Aunty Lisa and we did not get time to catch up."

Gavi nodded his head understandingly, and then said, "i know that mommy. And this point is for- ’Whom will Gavi like more for the day!’ And as Uncle Dante is leading my one point, I am liking Uncle Dante a little more than Aunty Lisa." He said, making a point.

Dove and Dante looked at each other, before shaking their heads and smiling. "Alright, let’s go in." Dante said and Dove and Gavi followed inside.

The ambience inside was very posh and fine to look at. And though there were private rooms to book for more privacy, Gavi wanted to sit and eat at the common dining area, which was also very beautiful decorated. Also, they could have a stunning view of the greenery across it, through the glass walls.
