Monster Harem In The Tower -
Chapter 109: Trying My Best
Chapter 109: Trying My Best
"SNAP!"
Livia yanked down his pants. Nathan froze.
His eyes slowly looked down—his waist was now in a vulnerable state.
Livia was still kneeling behind him, both hands gripping the waistband of the jogger pants she had just praised moments ago.
Her expression remained innocent, her smile bright like a girl who had just discovered a new toy.
"Eh?" Nathan murmured, slowly turning his head. "Livia... why did you..."
"I know!" Livia cut him off as she stood.
"You must’ve summoned it with your weird magic, right?!"
Nathan said nothing. His brain seemed to crash for a moment.
Magic? Summoning pants?
Livia’s face was dead serious. She really believed that theory.
And behind all the absurdity, Nathan knew—she wasn’t joking.
Am I just going to let this go? Nathan thought. Am I just going to nod along and let the lies pile up because I’m lazy?
A memory flashed. His declaration.
About loving the Monster Girls not just with skin-to-skin contact and squishy pads... but truly.
He also remembered how Monster Girls had more advanced brains—evident when they easily grasped the writing system of his race.
Nathan took a breath.
"It’s not magic," he said finally, adjusting his pants.
"This... is called clothing. I got this from the panel. I can... trade a number... called a Point, for items like this through my panel."
"Wow..." Livia’s eyes went wide.
"Trade? So you exchange items... for other items? But what you’re using isn’t an item, it’s... a number?"
"Uh, yeah. Kinda... complicated," Nathan muttered, starting to get a headache.
"Basically, if I kill a monster, I get a kind of energy. Called Points. Then I can trade those for various things."
He chose not to mention "Tower Point" just yet.
Too much information might confuse Livia—and himself.
Domina’s ears twitched.
In an instant, her tall, slender body stepped closer.
"So..." Domina whispered as she gently stroked Nathan’s head,
"When you peed on that black monster before, you got Points too?"
Nathan nearly choked.
"Uhm... y-yeah."
Domina kept stroking his head softly.
Her gesture was so motherly—like a mom doting on her dumb but lucky son.
Then—right in front of him, Livia changed.
Her face turned red. Her eyes stared at Nathan like she wanted something.
"I-I want cloth like yours too," she said shyly, blushing.
"Ehehe... i-if you need to kill more monsters, I’ll help!"
Nathan was shocked.
He stared at Livia.
The caramel-skinned Monster Girl looked completely sincere.
He could hardly believe she just volunteered to help kill living beings—for a piece of fabric.
But his heart felt warm.
He shook his head with a smile. "No need, Livia. I’ll give it to you—all of you. Those clothes."
Suddenly—Velmora appeared, as if she could teleport.
She stood near them, her tail slowly curling.
Validia, who had been sitting far away, bent forward—accidentally sticking her butt up—just to hear better.
It hasn’t even been 24 hours... Nathan thought. I have to wait until night to access the Hunter Trade Center.
Then—Pinch!
Nathan’s cheek was softly pulled by Domina, who now grinned sweetly.
"No matter what kind of fabric it is... I’ll accept it," she said, looking at Nathan like a mother who had no expectations from her lazy son.
Livia jumped up and hugged Nathan.
"THANK YOU~! THANK YOU~!"
Velmora smiled too. But—
"I don’t want that weird fabric,"
A cold voice came from Validia’s side.
Nathan turned—to Morvessa.
Hmm? well, she hasn’t interacted with me much since the start... Maybe she’s just... cautious?
"When, Nathan?" Livia asked, her hopeful eyes looking up at him, her skin still resting on Nathan’s chest, arms wrapped around his waist.
Nathan blinked, snapped out of the warmth rushing through his heart.
"Hmm..." he murmured, thinking for a second. "Tomorrow."
"YAY!!" Livia immediately jumped up and down like a child who’d just been promised ice cream.
"Clothes! I’ll finally have new fabric!"
The atmosphere turned warm again.
Normal. Just like always.
Until eventually, the Monster Girls returned to their respective places one by one.
Domina smiled softly, then turned around. "I’m sleepy."
Validia simply nodded and waved at her friends before walking into the forest.
Velmora waved too, her face once again that of a shy girl—since Nathan wasn’t sweating.
Her snake tail slithered away silently.
Morvessa... was gone. No one knew when.
Once they were all out of Nathan’s sight,
The sky began to dim.
Golden rays turned bluish... then faded to black.
He stared ahead. Silent.
"...Turns out I was just... too confused all this time," he murmured, head slightly lowered.
Nathan leaned against the nearest tree, letting his thoughts settle like dust after a storm.
Everything felt different now. Not because something huge had changed—but because he’d started paying attention.
He used to spend so much time trying to predict the girls, analyze their motives, or make sense of their logic. But they never hid anything from him. Their honesty was terrifying at times, yes—but also comforting.
Monster Girls didn’t say one thing and mean another.
They said weird things... and meant exactly that.
And now, for the first time, Nathan realized he wasn’t just adapting—he was starting to belong.
Tomorrow’s Eclipse would be his first real step outside comfort. Not just because he’d be exploring, but because he’d be accompanying Validia—someone who have colossal titties.
He didn’t know what the day would bring. Maybe trouble. Maybe answers. Maybe something new entirely.
But one thing was certain.
Nathan wasn’t the same person who just wanted to escape the Tower anymore.
Now... he wanted to understand it.
All the Monster Girls around him were so unique, so alive. But he’d been too busy being confused.
Too busy guessing their responses—when they’d already shown, again and again, that they had no hidden agendas. Not yet.
He smiled faintly.
Then frowned. A pressing sensation crept into his lower abdomen.
"Ugh... gotta pee."
Nathan stood and walked toward the river.
Moonlight faintly lit his path.
Just as he reached the riverbank and was about to lower his pants, a familiar system chime echoed in his mind:
[Reminder: Weekly Metallumcum production goal—please pee in the tube!]
"Yeah yeah..." Nathan let out a long sigh.
"Modern man, forced to pee into a tube. Great."
He pulled out a tube from the soft-glowing panel that appeared.
And with resignation, he peed into it.
Once finished, he returned the tube into the panel.
It vanished.
Nathan gave his junk a slight shake—just to make sure the last drop wasn’t still hanging.
Done.
He stood, gazing at the moon.
Silent.
His thoughts began to drift.
"Exploring sounds kinda fun," he whispered.
"Besides... oh—right, tomorrow’s the Eclipse, yeah?"
His smile widened.
"I promised Validia a company too. Kinda curious how she curls up inside her hole..."
Then, Nathan remembered something.
Validia once said she felt suffocated when she stayed small for too long.
Nathan immediately raised both hands and slapped his own cheeks—
Slap! Slap!
"You will and must comfort her!" he told himself, determined.
---
Meanwhile, somewhere far from Nathan’s floor—
Outside the Tower, inside a regular human’s bedroom,
A busty brunette—the one who once questioned the naming of the Metallumcum potion—was stretching on her bed.
And the most obvious thing about her—aside from her combat skills—
Was her ridiculously massive chest.
With a lazy groan, she lifted herself from the bed.
Her steps were slow as she walked toward a small table in the corner of the room.
She picked up her phone, lit up the screen, and smiled.
"Hmm~ Selling clothes on the Hunter Trade Center is way more profitable than potions... especially for female hunters," she murmured, stretching with her back arched.
"Especially when their clothes keep getting ripped during expeditions. Constant replacements..."
She walked into the bathroom, opened the door, and turned on the tap.
While brushing her teeth, Fiona stared at her reflection in the mirror.
She lifted one of her breasts with her wrist and sighed softly.
These lumps of fat never go away, she muttered.
And they always make those pervy guys look at me like they want to stole it from me....
She brushed her teeth faster. Foam spilled slightly from the corner of her lips.
---
Elsewhere again...
A man in a black suit—
The one who once investigated the identity of the dude behind WhiteNull—was now wearing sportswear, jogging along the side of a quiet road.
His body was tall, muscular, his hair short.
His silhouette blended into the night—like a ghost doing cardio.
Beep...
The music playing in his earphones stopped.
He slowed his pace.
Raised his right hand, and with one finger, tapped a small button on the earbud.
A trembling voice came through his ear.
"David...? WhiteNull hasn’t been selling that fruit again, right? The Prunus Vitalis?"
David paused for a moment. His breathing still steady.
His eyes narrowed, staring into the distance—toward the rising morning light.
Then he answered, calm yet sharp.
"No. But I’ll make sure to check it every day so we wouldn’t miss a chance to buy it. I’ll also keep digging into whoever’s behind WhiteNull."
The raspy voice chuckled faintly.
"Ughmm... Don’t forget to take days off, you work too much, David."
David smiled. "I’m just trying my best to pay your kindness, Sir... Ulrich."
