Monster Harem In The Tower
Chapter 108: When Warmth Feels Like Laughter, and Laughter Feels Like Home

Chapter 108: When Warmth Feels Like Laughter, and Laughter Feels Like Home

Nathan returned to the farm area he was building.

His left hand no longer held a branch—instead, he gripped pieces of timber and slotted them into the floating holographic patterns.

Like a nameless giant puzzle, the wooden pieces were joined one by one, forming a flatter and more functional grid.

Every time a piece fit perfectly into place, Nathan felt a subtle satisfaction trickle through his chest.

"Feels... like an achievement," he muttered quietly. "After teaching them earlier... even if it was just the basics. Still, it felt good."

His hands kept moving. Wood to wood, line to line—like his life was also being arranged piece by piece through this project.

"I’ll keep teaching them. Until..."

The words hung in the air. He had just grabbed a new piece of wood, but before placing it, he looked down for a moment.

His eyes reflexively glanced at his shaft—which, for some reason, was still hard, even though it had long returned into his pants.

He sighed.

"Well... whatever. This time I’m choosing the positive path. It’s fine if they don’t want to play with my pp anymore."

With that weird resolve, he continued placing the wood pieces. His hands moved steadily, though his mind was still a mess.

Some time passed, until eventually he was standing near a deep hole in the ground—Velmora’s home.

He paused, staring at the edge of the pit, then tilted his head slightly.

"If this was in the outside world," he whispered, "Velmora would probably be protesting about forced evictions..."

He chuckled softly—but the laugh died instantly.

Because when he glanced toward Velmora—he froze.

Velmora was standing still in the distance. Her body barely moved, but her gaze... was sharp, direct, and full of pressure.

Her eyes glowed bright red, just like back when they first met. And even more chilling—her lips were forming a wide grin.

Too wide for a human.

Nathan shivered.

He instinctively turned toward Validia, hoping for some contrast.

And there was.

Validia was lying down casually behind Velmora.

Her body was turned sideways, colossal tits neatly stacked with elegance, her head resting on her big muscular right hand, and her eyes... also locked on Nathan.

But her expression was calm.

So calm, it was as if nothing weird was happening.

"Why does it feel like they’re shooting a horror movie," Nathan muttered under his breath, quickly turning his head.

He forced himself to focus back on his work.

Placing another wooden piece. And another. And another.

Until finally—

[Ding!]

A system notification popped up in his mind.

[Farm Project Phase Two progress has exceeded the weekly target. You will receive a new reward once the project is completed.]

Nathan exhaled deeply.

"Another reward...? I hope it’s not just another nonsense skill."

He spaced out for a moment, then a thought passed through his mind.

Something he had been ignoring all this time.

"Hm... system," he thought. "Can you send me out of the Tower?"

That question didn’t come out of nowhere.

He already knew even the Tower Manager couldn’t bring him down to the lower floors, because the energy pressure between layers was too extreme. His body might explode.

But the system wasn’t just some ordinary entity.

So... why not ask?

After a few seconds of pause, the system replied:

[For the progress and safety of mankind, please refrain from attempting to leave the Tower for now. Your contribution will be of great value in the future.]

Nathan sighed again.

A response that felt... half motivational speech, half cheap mystery bait.

"Always feels like an RPG teaser..." he grumbled.

Then he tried pushing it further.

"Then explain. Who is The One? And what’s this dimensional war all about?"

The system went silent.

Then—

[Information will be provided once you have contributed further. This is only the beginning.]

Nathan stared at the final wooden piece in his hand.

"Yeah yeah. Always ’only the beginning,’" he said with a hint of sarcasm.

But despite the irritation, his hands kept working.

That final piece was placed into its slot.

One step closer to a perfect grid.

And maybe... to the real answer.

Toward the kind of mystery perfect for future Chapters cliffhanger.

Some time passed.

Nathan was nearly done fitting the last piece of wood into the grid.

His hands were dirty, sweat dripped from his temple, and his pants were covered in dust.

Then suddenly—his body was pushed backward.

He instantly felt like he was being pulled by a great force—gentle, but irresistible.

"What—?!"

He hadn’t even processed what was happening yet when his back was already resting against Domina’s soft chest, and his legs dangled forward.

Carried. Like a toddler.

"That’s enough," Domina’s voice was soft but firm. "You need to stop for now."

Nathan looked up, seeing Domina’s face with that dangerous gentle smile.

"It’s bath time."

Nathan went silent.

No response.

His eyes stared forward.

His mind recalled the moment when Domina first carried him. Emotional damage level: god-tier.

"Put me down," he said flatly.

Domina immediately lowered him gently, still wearing the same motherly expression like she was coaxing a child into a nap.

"Let’s go bathe," she said, giving him no room to argue.

And so they walked together.

Heading toward the small river near the construction site—their favorite bathing spot.

The water was clear, shallow, and surrounded by sapoa trees.

Livia was already waiting there, her beautiful body already wet. She waved her hand, and her wet caramel tits jiggled like a high-quality, soft birthday cake.

Not long after, Velmora appeared. As usual—nearly soundless.

Her long body slithered into the water, and she sat cross-legged on a large stone, letting the water wet part of her tail.

"Bathinggg~" she said softly, her voice like a gentle hiss.

Nathan tried to ignore it.

Once he had enough sapoa sap, he started his bathing session.

But only a few seconds after the water flowed over his chest, Nathan felt something strange.

A light touch... on his butt.

"Eh—"

Instinctively, he turned around.

Validia.

With her giant body, she sat calmly at the riverbank—like a titan having coffee while watching angels splash around.

"Oops~" she said with an innocent smile.

Her index finger was still in the poke position—with nearly terrifying precision.

"You—" Nathan wanted to get angry, but his voice got stuck.

Because the way Validia smiled... was too peaceful.

As if all of this was just a game.

As if his ass wasn’t a sacred zone that must be protected from giant finger pokes.

Velmora, watching, just giggled—her voice as thin as afternoon tea steam.

Domina said nothing, but briefly glanced at Nathan like she was saying, "Told you. You needed a bath."

Nathan sighed.

The river kept flowing.

The bubbles increased.

And Nathan realized one thing: In the eyes of these girls, everything happening here... was just a joke.

Joking while bathing.

Joking while caressing his shoulders.

Joking while poking his butt.

Joking while staring at his shaft like it was a toy.

Funny?

Maybe.

But also... embarrassing.

Nathan lowered his head. Then washed both his shoulders.

And even though he was embarrassed, he wasn’t angry.

Because behind all of it, one feeling slowly rose in his heart.

Warmth.

Not from the water. But from them.

These girls. His monster harem.

They could be weird, mischievous, pervy, and have zero concept of boundaries...

But they were honest.

They were deeply sincere with Nathan, even though he still didn’t have much value to offer them.

And that... was enough.

-----

Bath time was over.

Water still dripped from the tips of some of their hair, but the atmosphere... remained absurd as usual.

The conversation resumed, and this time it was even more chaotic than before.

"What would it taste like if I ate my own tail?" Velmora asked while flipping the end of her tail back and forth.

"If you cook it first before eating, maybe it’d be tasty," Validia answered casually, lying on the now-dried rocks.

"Then how would you move later?" chimed in Morvessa, who—somehow—was now perched on Validia’s shoulder.

Nathan didn’t join in that confusing theological discussion.

He had just finished pouring river water over his head one last time, and now stood by the riverbank, letting the wind dry his skin.

Without thinking much, he walked toward the Prunus Vitalis tree and used his Stamina Robe to dry himself.

"Multi-purpose... nice," he muttered while rubbing his hair.

Once dry enough, he grabbed his underwear and brand new jogger pants—which looked like they’d dried already—and put them on.

Once everything was in place, Nathan stood upright, lifted his arms overhead, and stretched his body side to side.

His back popped.

"Crack... ahh—nice."

But before he could enjoy that stretch...

"Ooohh~ this is nice," Livia’s voice came from behind.

Nathan turned slightly. He lowered his head, "What?"

Livia was kneeling right behind his butt, pulling his pants.

Her face tilted up. "Where’d you get this?" she asked. Her fingers pinched the fabric like it was something special.
