Chapter 1241 - Chapter 1241 Chapter 1241 Calculations

Chapter 1241: Chapter 1241: Calculations Chapter 1241: Chapter 1241: Calculations Feng Yi said with a solemn expression, “The Giant Clan comes from an enormously huge planet, which has vast land areas, similar to Earth around two hundred million years ago, filled with overpowering creatures. According to our investigation, it seems that other intelligent beings once appeared on this planet, but due to the barbaric and dangerous world, they hardly continued to exist. Only the Giant Clan flourished; their bodies are enormous by nature, with the average adult standing about ten meters tall, and they have mastered quite good forging skills.”

“Their shamans control certain ritual Spells, but they are more the warrior type, clad in Magic Metal Armor. Even high-powered Mechas struggle to damage it, and they have extremely resilient life forces and boundless strength, relying on hunting various fierce beasts for food.”

“This is a very tenacious Race, and our initial contact with them as humans was just as unpleasant, and we also suffered heavy losses until it was the strikes from spaceships in the outer space that provided the two sides with an opportunity to sit down and talk.”

Although Feng Yi made light of it, everyone could imagine that before this ‘sit down and talk,’ there must have been countless great battles. The cost for humans to unite so many Races is beyond what ordinary people could imagine.

“This individual is quite troublesome and has advanced through three promotions. One of them stands fifteen meters tall, and during the preliminary heats, he just bulldozed his way through. Are you confident?” Feng Yi asked Li Yao.

Li Yao thought for a moment before saying, “Only by fighting will we know.”

In the fourth batch, the fifteen-meter Giant appeared; his opponent was a nimble Leopard Woman, but she too failed to breach his defense and was eventually caught like a little chick, leading her to concede helplessly.

In the fifth batch, Li Yao finally entered the field; his opponent was an Ogre. Though the Ogre was not as terrifying as a Giant, he was still a Giant compared to humans and had two heads, wielding a huge Wolf Fang Club. In comparison, even with his Mecha on, Li Yao looked slender.

The Ogre wore Heavy Armor too, and his four eyes sized up Li Yao with malice.

*Weakling, my brother was eliminated by you, and soon I will burst you open,* the Ogre sneered.

“If you faced that big lug of a Giant, would you still dare speak like that?” Li Yao responded coolly.

“I’m no match for him, nor have I ever thought about competing in strength with that kind of creature. Unfortunately for you, you’re not that kind of monster,” the Ogre said, full of disdain.

“Is that so? Then I am eager to see how you’re going to burst me open,” Li Yao said, slightly shaking his head. “Against someone as foolish as you, you wouldn’t be able to touch me even if I didn’t attack for five minutes.”

“Arrogant! Five minutes? If I can’t touch you in five minutes, I will kill myself,” the Ogre sneered.

With the sound of artillery Shell, the match officially began.

The Ogre immediately charged at Li Yao, who didn’t even bother to draw a weapon, and even put his hands behind his back.

The audience watching Li Yao was shocked, with those from Earth even less understanding of why Li Yao would be so careless, actually choosing not to fight back.

“Idiot, perish!” The Ogre, seeing Li Yao’s arrogance, had his eyes turn red.

Boom…

The Ogre’s Wolf Fang Club fell mightily, but Li Yao, with a tap of his toes, disappeared and re-emerged behind the Ogre.

Dirt flew everywhere, the Ogre’s strength was too brutal for any flesh and blood to withstand.

The audience turned pale, knowing that had the strike connected, the victim would have been smashed to pulp.

“Way too slow,” Li Yao retorted, delivering a kick to the Ogre’s rear. The Ogre stumbled and nearly fell over.

Roar…

Enraged, the Ogre flailed his Wolf Fang Club, emitting a piercing shriek as his body spun violently.

Windmill!

The Ogre began to spin wildly, and with the screeching of his weapon, he approached Li Yao like a relentless windmill.

“Slow, slow, slow, still too slow,” Li Yao, with his hands behind his back, leisurely stepped back.

To everyone watching, Li Yao’s body seemed only a step away from the spinning weapon, yet that single step was like an insurmountable chasm; no matter how furiously the ogre roared, it just couldn’t touch Li Yao.

Ah!

Uprooting mountains, dominating the world!

The ogre roared in anger, utterly vexed by Li Yao. No matter how wildly it attacked, it couldn’t even graze a hair on Li Yao’s body. Although Li Yao was within its striking range, every attack missed by a whisker, as Li Yao dodged like a drifting feather–a more infuriating sight was hard to imagine.

The ogre displayed all of its eighteen types of combat skills, yet none proved effective.

Boom…

The massive Wolf Fang Club smashed into the ground, sending mud flying as if artillery shells were exploding.

“Area attacks are useless too, still slow, slow, slow.” As the splattered mud surged toward him, Li Yao effortlessly dodged the blast wave.

Then, with a few tiptoe touches, he widened the distance between himself and the ogre.

“Really, how boring, I’ve grown tired of this, it’s time to finish you off,” muttered Li Yao as he gripped the Thousand Mechanisms Bow.

“Not even five minutes in, you little cheat, you’ve broken your word,” the ogre stamped hard on the ground, its body shooting forward, Wolf Fang Club raised high as if it were an artillery shell aimed at Li Yao: “But it doesn’t matter, whether you fight back or not, take my Sky Shaking Hammer.”

Boom…

The ground itself seemed to quiver as Li Yao once again flashed to a distance, stowing the Thousand Mechanisms Bow away: “It’s already over.”

The ogre paused: “What do you mean…”

Crack, crack, crack…

Suddenly, the ground beneath its feet crumbled, and it fell into the breach.

“Not good, you’re despicable,” the ogre realized all too late. Li Yao had lured it into striking, enraged it, and then, when it was about to use its powerful move, guided it to this very spot.

This was a swamp; many places seemed solid, but beneath was a morass, merely hardened on the surface. Its heavy strike had shattered the ground’s crust, causing it to sink.

The ogre quickly threw away its Wolf Fang Club; the club was too heavy, only making it sink faster.

Though it didn’t know how Li Yao could have been aware of this spot with only a solidified surface, it was clear now that it was finished.

Li Yao pretended to be surprised: “Oh dear, how could you be so careless? I didn’t even attack you, and yet you’ve slipped up on your own. Knowing full well this is a swamp and still not being cautious, it seems having two heads isn’t necessarily better.”

The ogre roared repeatedly, but no matter what, it couldn’t escape the swamp; its body kept sinking until it reached its chest.

Li Yao, however, didn’t watch any longer. The ogre was too cumbersome, clad in heavy armor, and without any leverage, it was helpless.

“I surrender,” the ogre conceded, with only its two heads left above the mire.

The scene was eerily quiet; no one quite knew how to describe their feelings at that moment–it had won that easily? It seemed almost too childish…
