Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva
Chapter 951 - 83 Idrylia's Gift_3

Looking up, there were two other carrier pigeons outside flapping their wings in greeting. This familiar feeling suggested it was Tilan and Ores.

Seeing the two of them come down to check on her, Shui Yanqing felt a warm sensation in her heart, and the bad mood she had earlier eased quite a bit.

The three carrier pigeons met at the glass window, and with the encouragement of the two outside, the one inside slowly flew out again. However, this time, they didn't fly high but instead flew low along the street. Using the complex ground environment as cover, it was difficult for the red falcon in the sky to completely pinpoint the three, nor did it want to risk crashing into roadside branches and various obstacles during a dive, so after circling a few times, it flew off.

Later, the three little white carrier pigeons flew together, keeping watch and alerting each other, and finally, before time ran out, they found three placed signs and noted down the numbers on them.

"Time's up." Idrylia gently clapped her hands, waking up the five songstresses.

Despite only half an hour having passed, the five of them seemed a bit dazed, as if they had experienced the brief life of a carrier pigeon.

"Isn't this sensation rather novel?" Seeing them still somewhat savoring the experience, Idrylia spoke kindly.

"Alright, now you can tell me what you encountered and how many numbers you noted down from the signs."

"It went pretty smoothly, I controlled the pigeon to tour the locations and noted all five numbers from the signs," Prin was the first to speak.

"I noted four signs, got lost in the middle, and took a bit more time," Audrey said, somewhat dejected.

"What about you guys?" Idrylia turned, seeing the other three not being very forthcoming.

"We noted the numbers on three signs," Tilan replied.

"Only three?" Idrylia seemed a little disappointed.

"Because midway, we helped the injured Shui Yanqing avoid being attacked by the red falcon, so we spent more time, but we were still quite happy," Ores explained proactively.

Idrylia glanced at Shui Yanqing, who had her head lowered beside her, and nodded slightly.

"You did well too."

"Alright, today's training ends here, come with me," she said, then got up and asked everyone to follow her.

So the group walked through the nearby beech forest and came to a wooden house they hadn't seen before. It was three stories high, styled similarly to ancient Elf Race architecture, built leaning against a large tree, giving a sense of harmony with nature.

"This is my temporary residence, come in," she invited.

The five of them climbed the wooden stairs and entered the house. Blanchi was already there, sitting on the circular wooden chair in the hall, looking at the intricately mechanical owl in the air. Its inner body was hollow, entirely constructed with vintage alchemy gears, complete with a mini demon crystal power unit, truly beautiful.

"Can I have this owl?" Blanchi asked immediately upon seeing Idrylia enter.

"You can, but take good care of it. It is a gift from over a hundred years ago, given to me by Vexelwald Merlin, the only remaining master of alchemy creation," Idrylia waved her hand, and the alchemical owl flew down, then she handed it to Blanchi.

"I'll send you the chip information on its construction and maintenance later. If you're unsure, you'll need to find an expert in the field of alchemy to help in the future."

"No problem, thank you, mentor," Blanchi gratefully accepted.

"You five may also sit, have a look around, and speak to me about anything that interests you. Most of it is my collection of little trinkets, some gifted by others, some bought as collectibles, and others made by me when I was interested in old hobbies," Idrylia was unusually gracious, leaving the group who had undergone strict training for weeks somewhat unaccustomed.

"Thank you~"

The five, filled with curiosity, looked around. There were vintage alchemical miniatures, old books and pamphlets, pretty feathers from unknown birds, seeds of exotic plants, intricately carved statues, handcrafted delicate ornaments, and more, many of which appeared to be masterworks of high value, with some being quite rare and precious.

It was evident that Idrylia put much thought into curating these collections, yet she surprisingly allowed the novice songstresses to pick freely today.

She first returned upstairs, removed the white priestly robe with gold edges she had just worn, and changed into a deep blue vintage dress with black edges. Sitting in a corner of the room, she held her teacup and gazed gently at the young girls moving throughout the room.

The expression revealed in her eyes seemed to be reminiscing about events from a long, long time ago.

Perhaps only at this moment would others realize that, whether as a songstress or an elf, she had lived to a very old age.
