Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva
Chapter 927 - 75 Discussion of the Council of Seven Sages' Strategy_3

"What we want is a kind of honorary status to distinguish ourselves from ordinary people of our kind," they expressed their expectations.

"This..." Tilan thought for a moment, realizing that these maids were truly die-hard loyalists of the ancient True Red Royal Court. Each of them seemed to yearn for that kind of rigidly hierarchical environment. Talking about equality to them might actually be harder for them to adapt to.

"Alright then, but I don't want those with higher titles bullying their fellow companions."

"The entry-level will be called 'Crimson Fragment Maids,' requiring at least a Federal High School education and strength above Sequence 4."

"The Middle Rank will be called 'Embroidered Crimson Maids,' requiring completion of the university's in-school stage of education, strength above Sequence 5, and a particular skill in which they excel."

"The High Rank will be called 'Rose Maids,' requiring completion of an entire university education, strength above Sequence 6, and expertise in one skill at the expert level."

"The Top Rank will be called 'True Crimson Ceremony,' requiring mastery in a specific field and strength above Sequence 7."

"Now you all should be satisfied, right? Does this make your future directions much clearer?" Tilan announced the classification of titles they had hoped for.

"Thank you, Lord Tilan, everyone is very happy and pleased." Many maids looked at Tilan with eyes practically glowing like stars. It seemed that their previously idle and aimless lives had finally found direction, filling them with anticipation and motivation.

Afterwards, the maids had a small discussion among themselves. It was likely that from now on, tiers would form within their group, making management easier and establishing a core leadership. Otherwise, responsibilities were too scattered, causing no one to take initiative or care deeply.

Upon observing them, Tilan couldn't help but reflect on the history of the True Red Empire. That era truly perfected the motivational power of status and rank, blatantly telling all humanity that as long as you had strength, you could earn a noble title in the Empire and ascend to its upper echelons.

Of course, this was closely tied to the historical context. During the First Era, the True Red Empire faced constant struggles against the much larger Orc Fang Empire. With a dire shortage of fighting power, a High-Order Extraordinary One could protect an entire village or city, so granting noble titles to them was naturally legitimate.

In other words, the modern-day advocacy for equality stems from the development of technology, which has diminished the invincibility of High-Order Extraordinary Ones. At the same time, these extraordinary individuals rely heavily on the various goods produced by ordinary people, gradually fostering a balance.

After dinner, Tilan and Geyin took another stroll in the garden of the courtyard. Tilan chatted with Geyin about recent happenings at school and occasionally shared amusing incidents from her part-time job.

"You said you met that singer Alanna?" Geyin asked softly.

"Yes, why? Have you heard of her too, Geyin?" Tilan was a bit surprised; Geyin usually didn't seem to listen to much music.

"Mhm, I saw some news about her online." Geyin paused for a moment.

"Do you like Alanna?" she asked again.

"What kind of 'like' are you referring to? If you mean her singing, I do like it a bit. Her personality is nice too," Tilan thought for a moment and answered thoughtfully.

After that, Geyin didn't continue speaking, but Tilan noticed that the girl with silvery-green hair didn't seem as calm and composed as she usually was.

"Is something the matter?"

"Mhm, I'm unsure if I should tell you, but I'm also a little afraid."

"Afraid of what?"

"Afraid of... changes," Geyin replied.

"Then don't say it for now." Tilan gently patted her head and comforted her softly.

"If you're hesitating, it means you're not ready to handle it yet."

"Think it through carefully, and then decide whether to tell me."

"Thank you, Tilan."

Though nothing more was said, Geyin's long calm heart felt a warmth and reliance she hadn't experienced in a while. It was a feeling she seemed to recall only from a very young age, back when she was by her mother's side, learning to knead clay with her hands and create whimsical animal-shaped teacups in the kiln.

Later on, her mother gradually became irritable, and she herself immersed more and more in the online world, no longer opening her heart to her.
