Miss Witch Doesn't Want to be a Diva -
Chapter 899 - 65: The Outstanding Graduates of Fengyuan Academy_2
This is the Magic Wind Cloak, which can help extraordinary animal companions resist energy impacts and also provide a certain degree of airflow isolation. When used on fast-flying birds, it becomes exceptionally agile.
Seeing the Grey Crow rush out from the Breath of Fire, the opponent's gaze revealed astonishment, but new changes quickly emerged.
The crow flapped its wings, spinning its body after gliding past the side of the Hellhound. Simultaneously, Tilan on the opposite side changed her hand gestures, causing the emblem pattern behind her to rotate, with its starlike dots transforming and condensing into a new design.
"Wind Kite Secret Art: Star Shuttle Wings."
Points of light also appeared on the Grey Crow's wings, shining brilliantly in the night. Its wings seemed doubled, with a pair of transparent starlight feathers rhythmically flapping.
In the ensuing battle, the Grey Crow continuously shifted its form, appearing to completely disregard inertia and gravity. Its flight trajectory was exceptionally agile, capable of sudden 90° turns and flips, weaving back and forth in mid-air and effortlessly evading the Rockfire Hellhound's attacks.
During this time, the Hellhound's numerous breaths were easily dodged by the crow, and the smoke emitted was isolated by the light points on its wings, preventing its internal body from being scorched.
Seeing that the Rockfire Hellhound's Magic Power was nearly depleted, Tilan once again changed her hand gestures, and the emblem behind her shifted accordingly.
"Wind Kite Secret Art: Shadow Feather Strike."
The Grey Crow soared into the sky, its wing lights growing increasingly dazzling. Then, suddenly it split, with several identical fluorescent Grey Crows emerging in succession, diving downward at increasing speed.
"Wind Kite Secret Art: Streaming Light and Shadow."
These fluorescent Grey Crows traced beautiful and elaborate paths in the air. They did not attack the Rockfire Hellhound directly but seemed to be outlining some complex secret art formation.
"Ash Crow Witch: Soul Splitting Shadow."
This wasn't a technique from the Wind Kite Courtyard but rather a Witch Secret Technique from the Tri-Phase Moon Academy.
Like pulling invisible threads, these diving fluorescent Grey Crows tore through the space, causing the Rockfire Hellhound to let out anguished howls. Against a secret technique directly targeting its Soul Consciousness, its powerful physical body was of no use. Already imbued with Mad Blood, the intense consciousness tearing caused it to spiral into madness.
With bloodshot eyes, the Hellhound grew increasingly frenzied, attacking every visible figure as it relentlessly chased the diving fluorescent Grey Crows but could never catch them. Eventually, it crashed into the barrier at the edge of the battlefield, eliciting terrified screams from spectators nearby.
Dark red flames burst forth, and smoke billowed skyward. Wode Kasso kept shouting, trying to command the colossal crazed Hellhound consumed by the torment of mind-splitting pain.
Of course, it was futile. His constant shouting seemed to irritate the giant Hellhound further, which turned around and charged at the visibly portly and well-fed Wode Kasso.
"No! My baby, I'm your dad! You can't bite me!" He spread his arms wide, hoping to calm it down. But the out-of-control Hellhound was having none of it. It opened its massive jaws and bit down forcefully, instantly leaving several bloody holes in Wode Kasso's sturdy arm.
"Enough, you stupid dog!" After being bitten, Wode Kasso finally lost his patience. He declared his intention to end the match, then punched the Hellhound's head, sending it flying several meters and pulling his wounded arm away.
"Alright, the winner this time is Zi Jin Miss." Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, the host, slightly panicked, hurriedly made the announcement.
Is it over? Tilan looked at the host and the surrounding crowd who were screaming and cheering. She stopped activating her technique, letting the luminous Grey Crows wandering the sky disperse, and the secret art shredding the Rockfire Hellhound's soul dissipated as well.
With the agony fading, the giant Hellhound was still bloodshot and chaotically biting around. If not for several Transcendents maintaining order on-site, it might have injured someone.
"Kill that rabid dog!"
"How stupid."
"No, you can't kill it. It's only protecting its master, provoked by deceitful tactics from the opponent." The club staff stepped in to mediate, also dispatching persons to activate sturdy Energy Ropes to restrain the enraged dog gradually.
Ten minutes later, the scene finally settled temporarily. The host glanced at the situation and resumed the process, announcing Zi Jin Miss as the champion of this match, rewarded with a prize of one hundred thousand Federation Coins issued by the club.
Half an hour later, having gone through the entire process, Tilan and Suoga finally had the chance to leave.
"Did you see it? When you received the award, Shi Weide stood on the side looking as if he'd eaten shit." Suoga excitedly relived the moment while chatting with Tilan on their way out.
"I knew you could do it, Zi Jin. You're a genius, just as I thought." She affirmed that her persistence had been proven right.
Tilan, unconcerned, merely shook her head. Stroking the Grey Crow perched on her shoulder, she then let it fly away, disappearing into the night.
"It's late now. Will you take me to meet your team members, or should I head back first and you bring me to them later?" By now, it was already past ten o'clock at night, indeed getting late.
"Let's go now. You helped me win the championship; leaving you hanging for a night wouldn't sit right with me." This answer surprised Tilan, as she hadn't expected Suoga to value loyalty this much.
"Follow me. Everyone is at the place I arranged. The current circumstances are special, so things are a bit humble. Don't underestimate us."
Afterwards, Suoga had Tilan get on her motorcycle as she personally took her there.
"Get on. It's fine. Sit sideways; I'll keep it low and drive slowly. No rush at this hour." Honestly, she didn't want to draw too much attention either. Having often followed Alanna around before, Suoga knew too many acquaintances in Academy City, and flying too high would only attract unnecessary notice.
