Chapter 131: Three Requirements

"Your punishment goes thus," he began, his voice deep and commanding, causing Reana to tremble under his intense gaze.

She loved this new domineering Ryder.

He continued, "My game, my rules, Luna. You can’t disagree. If you try to force your way, I’ll get aggressive. Are you willing?"

She swallowed, her head slowly bobbing.

Reana didn’t know what he intended to do, she didn’t know what this ’punishment’ was that he wouldn’t stop talking about, but she was more than thrilled to find out.

Ryder grinned. He climbed on top of her, hovering over her. She thought he was coming for her lips, but instead, he lifted her hands over her head, his wide palm circling her wrists as he pinned her to the bed.

Just as Reana was wondering what he was up to, he whispered against her ear.

"Open up, Luna," his breath hot on her skin.

She didn’t know what he meant. Reana stayed silent, unmoving for a few seconds, only realizing that her silence and indecisiveness was a bad idea a moment later.

"Paah!" He slapped her thigh.

Luna Reana’s eyes flew wide with shock, her breath caught in her throat as she locked eyes with him.

His actions, his boldness was daring and disrespectful, but...she loved it...strange.

"Your legs, open them, Reana," he commanded.

Her face flushed as she slowly obeyed, her legs parting ever so slightly. His lips rose, pleased that she finally understood, but he seemed not to be satisfied.

"Spread it out more, Reana," his teeth grazed her skin. "Your body’s been giving me orders all day, Luna – time to obey mine. Inky obedience will save you."

His eyes burned with intensity as he waited, his thumbs tracing gentle circles on her wrists above her head, while his other hand lightly, like feathers, brushing against her breast.

Her dress was still on - a robe dress - while he was naked, amplifying her desire to feel, to touch him. But she couldn’t.

Reana’s heart skipped beats as she slowly complied, her legs opening further – just enough for the slit in her robe to reveal her long, straight legs– yet his gaze seemed to dare her wider.

It wasn’t enough, it seemed.

His low, husky voice whispered again,

"Wider, Luna. Or don’t you dare...?" he arched a challenging brow, his lips curled into a taunting smile.

Reana felt challenged.

Her heart raced faster, her pulse throbbing with defiance – she loved being dared by him.

Her legs slowly parted wider, a deliberate, teasing inch at a time, eyes locked intensely on Ryder’s face.

His taunting smile grew, eyes blazing with triumph and arousal as he whispered, "Brave girl, Luna... but not brave enough."

Ryder’s fingers tightened slightly around her wrists, his body leaning in closer, voice low and menacingly sweet, "Do I need to show you what happens when you only partially obey rules?"

She swallowed, her body aching slightly, inviting his punishment.

And he punished her.

His lips claimed hers in a fierce, dominating kiss, but just as she began to enjoy it, her lips hungrily moving against his, he stopped and pulled away. "That’s the last kiss you’re getting."

Reana’s eyes widened, "Ryder!" she meant to bark at him, but her voice came out as a barely audible whisper.

Her eyes blazed with defiance and desire as she added, voice still trembling, "You’re cruel."

Ryder’s smile was ruthless, his eyes gleaming with triumph as he stepped back, his gaze roaming over her naked skin. "I can show you what real cruelty is if you break another rule. Want to try?"

Reana’s face burned with frustration and arousal. He’d taken away kissing her. What would he do next? She didn’t know and didn’t dare to try. Not when she was hypersensitive and desperate to be fucked.

She shook her head and he smiled. "Good girl."

However, Reana noticed something about his smiles. They were insincere, wicked, and cold - like he wouldn’t hesitate to break her if she resisted.

Was he seeking revenge on her for what she did to him?... He did say he’d punish her for being naughty, but he never said he’d pay her back for locking him up.

Reana’s heart skipped a beat. If this was his retaliation, then he has won.

Ryder, unaware of Reana’s thoughts, began to pepper her collarbone with kisses. His lips moved down, teeth grazing her skin as he did.

Reana’s moans grew, her chest heaving with ragged breaths, as chills crawled down her tingling skin.

But then, cruelly, he stopped AGAIN – his breath still warm on her skin – and pulled back to gaze at her with intense eyes.

Reana’s body swayed slightly towards him, as if magnetized, her voice barely audible, "Why... are you torturing me?"

Ryder’s low, husky laugh sent shivers down her spine. "Because, My Luna, you’re not fully surrendered... yet."

His finger traced the path his lips had just abandoned, whispering, "Say the words I want to hear, Luna and I’ll continue."

Ryder’s eyes burned with intensity as he leaned in closer, his lips hovering here inches from hers. "Three things, Reana."

"What are they?"

"First, apologize for what you did," he explained, "You took another man’s side over mine and locked me up because of him. It hurt my feelings, so apologize. The more sincere, the better for you, Reana."

Reana’s heart trembled. He wasn’t kidding. He meant every word he said.

He locked eyes with him, wishing she could cup his face. "I– I’m sorry," she said without hesitation. "I’m truly sorry, Ryder," she repeated, her voice laced with subtle emotions, though her face was a paralysed blank face, but the fresh redness on her cheeks betrayed her emotionless mask.

Ryder’s intense gaze softened ever so slightly at her words, his eyes searching hers for sincerity – and finding it.

His voice lowered, husky with surprise and pleasure, "Luna... your apology almost undoes me." He paused, lips still hovering near hers, as he continued:

"Second requirement. Who do you belong to, Reana? Me or that person who wins the contest?" He paused, watching her intensely before adding. "Again, your sincerity is all I want. I’ll know if you lie."
