Theron’s POV

Shorty and I were sitting together, sharing the fish. It was really romantic. Just then, the doorbell rang. When I opened it, I saw my cousin, Ken, standing there—the same Ken I also call Pig.

I instantly recognized Shorty’s voice. I turned my eyes toward him without moving a muscle. His bodyguard was with him as he approached me.

"What happened? Why are you standing like this?"

I couldn’t answer. If I moved, the zombies would eat me. I had to win. I would win every game.

"Are you okay? Why aren’t you answering? You’re not moving at all—did something happen? Are you in pain?"

Just then, a powerful wave of air swept through, crushing all the zombies in an instant. Mission complete.

I finally moved and grabbed Shorty’s hand.
