Chapter 79: Move in with damon
Chapter 79: Move in with damon
Silas’s POV
"Are you out of your mind, Mr. Damon? Did you forget that you’re an Alpha and I’m an Omega? We can’t live in the same house together!"
Gosh, what the hell is damon thinking? Where has his brain gone that he’s suddenly talking like an idiot? And telling me to move in with him.
I didn’t step out of the car right away. Just then, Theron opened the door for me. I looked at him like, Man, what are you doing? Did I tell you to do that for me?
These brothers are really annoying. They don’t have a brain. And if one of them does, it’s probably in their knees... or maybe in their butt. Hehe, what the hell am I even thinking?
Just then, Theron grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the car, making me glare at him.
"Theron, don’t you think you’re crossing the line?"
"Which line, shorty? Don’t tell me you created a special line of romance just for me," he teased.
"Huh, this idiot," I muttered under my breath.
"But I won’t go in! I’m going back to my old apartment. Do you know how much Nekol and I spent on that place?"
Wait... did Nekol even find out about this? The moment he left, all this chaos started happening.
"Silas, it’s just for a few days. Let’s go in," Damon said.
"No! Why would I live with you? I don’t trust you."
"Pfft... Did you hear that, Damon? He doesn’t trust you! He only trusts me! So, shorty, don’t worry, I’ll stay with you and protect you from Damon."
I stepped away from both of them. It was afternoon, the sun was right above our heads, and I was feeling thirsty. People passing by were staring at us like we were causing a scene.
"I don’t need anyone’s protection! I can protect myself. What happened yesterday was really embarrassing. How the hell did I lose to that man? I need to train harder and learn more fighting techniques."
I felt proud saying that. Because yeah, losing isn’t my style. If I want to take down anyone—powers or not—I need to practice harder.
I was standing there, determined, but then Damon suddenly grabbed my hand and started pulling me inside the building. I didn’t want to go in, but since so many people were watching, I didn’t resist.
"You’re gonna die, Mr. Damon! How dare you force me to live with you? And why are you treating me differently from the other artists? I don’t like this! Treat me the same as them!"
Damon pulled me into the elevator, and Theron got in too.
"Chill, shorty. His house is really nice, but it’s sad that he never lets me come here," Theron said.
"Wait, Mr. Damon, if your house is here, then who lives in that mansion where you first took me? You said it was yours."
"It is. All four of us brothers live there together, but we also have separate houses."
Wow... rich people really are different. They have one mansion where their parents live, another mansion just for the four brothers, and then separate houses for each of them.
The elevator stopped, and we stepped out. As Damon opened the door, I was the first to walk in. I wanted to see how his house looked.
It was nice—luxurious but not overly flashy. Just a normal, high-end apartment. Compared to my old place, this was on another level.
I stared at Damon, slightly jealous that he could live in a place like this. Just then, he glanced at me, and I quickly shifted my gaze, pretending to look around.
"Come, I’ll show you your room," Damon said.
I followed him, and as I stepped inside the room, I froze.
My luggage was already there. My things. A new mobile phone too.
"Why is my luggage here?" I asked.
"I had it brought here. You can’t live in your old apartment anymore. Understand?"
"Why?"
Just then, Theron placed his hand on my shoulder from behind.
"Because everyone knows your address now. Your old apartment was too easy to break into. But... I’m still confused. Who gave that man your apartment key?"
That’s a good question. I only had one key, and the other one was with Nekol.
Wait a second... The day Nekol left town was the exact day someone sneaked into my house. That man even said someone told him I’d be alone that night.
Who could it be? Who knew Nekol was out of town and that I’d be alone?
...Was it Nekol himself?
No, no! What am I even thinking? Nekol is such a nice person.
But then again... in my whole life, everyone I trusted the most ended up betraying me. So, I can’t say I fully trust Nekol either. I don’t have the strength to face another betrayal.
"Silas, you can rest after taking a shower," Damon said.
"What about my schedule? Do I have any shoots?"
"Nope, you don’t. Your mobile was broken, so I got you a new one and asked Atlas to transfer all your data."
Oh yeah, my phone was broken. Thank God he got me a new one.
"Thanks," I muttered.
Damon smiled and ruffled my hair after hearing me. Then, he and Theron left the room. I quickly locked the door before heading to take a shower. Since I had no shoots today, I decided to wear something comfortable—just pajamas.
His bathroom was just as luxurious and aesthetic. A big white bathtub, a shower beside it, and so many fancy things.
I took off all my clothes and stepped into the bathtub.
"Woah... feels like heaven," I sighed.
It was so comfortable. I submerged myself into the water, enjoying the warmth. After a few seconds, I came up, panting slightly.
I soaked in the bathtub for another 10 minutes. After that, I put on my clothes and stepped out of the bathroom.
Leaving my room, I walked into the living area and saw Theron lying on the sofa, watching TV.
