Mated to Four Alphas -
Chapter 73: Home alone -4
Chapter 73: Home alone -4
Damon’s POV
Just then, Atlas arrives and stands before me.
"Boss, I’ve sent the boys to bring Ciel here."
"Good. Now call the security department and tell them to delete all the articles about Silas being missing."
"Okay, boss."
I turn my focus back to the CCTV footage. I’ve been watching everything repeatedly, but I still don’t see anything unusual—until I notice something.
A food delivery guy stepped into the elevator at 3:35 in the afternoon, but he never came out.
When I checked the other camera angles, I realized something even stranger—he entered the building, but there’s no footage of him leaving.
I immediately order the bodyguards to search the area. Just then, I hear a voice and look up.
"Brother."
Kael is standing there, holding his laptop. He walks over and sits beside me.
"Kael."
"Why didn’t you tell me earlier that the little guy was an artist in your company? And how did someone even manage to kidnap him?"
"I don’t know how this happened, but I want to know—did you find any details?"
Honestly, it’s not surprising that all four of us brothers already know Silas. It’s like destiny. If Lysander were here, he’d be worrying about Silas too, but he’s currently filming his next movie.
"I haven’t found his exact location yet, but he was captured on some CCTV footage. It looks like the little guy was unconscious when that man carried him away. They left through the pack’s exit and even about to crossed our territory."
I knew Kael would find something, but wait—if that man took Silas to the exit, that means he isn’t from our pack. Once they leave our territory, we won’t be able to do anything.
"That little guy isn’t dead yet, bro, so don’t worry. He can’t leave our pack that easily. You know that as well as I do."
Yeah. There are only two ways to leave our territory. The legal way, where you have to go through security checks before exiting, and the illegal way—through Dark Valley.
Anyone trying to leave will encounter two paths. The first leads out, but people rarely find it because it’s under the control of Dark Valley’s master. The second leads into Dark Valley itself.
That means there’s a possibility that Silas is in Dark Valley right now.
"Brother, what are you thinking?"
"Huh? Nothing... And yes, look here—this food delivery guy, was it him?"
Kael immediately checks the footage and zooms in on the delivery guy’s face.
"Yes, it was him."
Then, Kael shows me a video—Silas, unconscious, being carried away by that same man.
I think. They must be in Dark Valley. But the problem is, thousands of criminals pass through Dark Valley every single day.
"Boss, Ciel is here."
Just then, the bodyguards throw Ciel to the ground in front of us. As I glance at him, he looks gloomy, like he’s begging for pity.
There are still red marks on his cheeks. They must be from Silas’s slap.
As soon as Ciel sees me, his eyes widen, and he quickly gets on his knees.
"Mr. Damon, what do you mean by calling me here? If you had told me to come, I would have come willingly."
"Ciel."
"Huh? Yes, Mr. Damon?"
"Who did you hire to do this to Silas?"
"I don’t understand what you’re talking about, Mr. Damon."
Ciel puts on a clueless face like he genuinely doesn’t know what I’m talking about. But he’s an actor, after all. Of course, he knows how to act.
"Ciel... don’t test my patience. Tell me where he took him."
"I really don’t know anything! I don’t even understand what you’re talking about!"
My blood boils as Ciel continues to dodge my questions. I stand up from the sofa and walk toward him.
"Don’t make me repeat myself. Otherwise, it won’t end well for you."
"But I don’t even know what you’re talking about! Why did you bring me here? Did I do something wrong?"
He’s seriously asking if he did something wrong? Wow. He’s still pretending even after everything he’s done to Silas.
"Bro!"
I hear Kael call out, so I turn to him.
"Bro, their last recorded location was near Dark Valley."
As soon as I hear that, I grab my phone and send a message. After that, I sit back down on the sofa and glance at Ciel.
I still don’t know if he was the one who arranged this or if he’s actually innocent. But for now, I’ll let him go.
I glance at Atlas and signal for him to take Ciel away. Atlas quickly grabs Ciel and drags him out.
Kael shuts his laptop and looks at me.
"Did you message Brother Theron?"
"Yeah, I did."
Theron—the master of Dark Valley. He built Dark Valley at the edge of our territory, which is why no one has ever dared to attack us. If anyone can find Silas, it’s him.
The security department has deleted all the articles about Silas being missing. The fans have been sent home, and the reporters have been told that the news was false.
I get a message from Theron. He says he’ll find Silas soon.
Just then, Kael speaks up.
"I need to talk to you about something important."
"What is it?"
After he tells me, I’m shocked. But... it’s not hard to accept.
Orion isn’t our fated mate. And we aren’t his.
Then... whose pheromones did I sense back in childhood? Orion’s pheromones are orange.
And now that I think about it, Silas’s pheromones are also strawberries.
But I never met him in childhood. If I had, I would have remembered.
Seriously, I’m starting to lose faith in this whole fated mate thing.
If Orion wasn’t our mate, then why did the Moon Goddess send him to us?
And if he’s not our mate... then who is?
Or was the oracle just wrong all along?
If I think about it, there are so many unanswered questions.
Orion was so young back then—that’s probably why, no matter how many times we asked, he never remembered anything about his own family.
