Chapter 67: Fans knows the address now
Chapter 67: Fans knows the address now
Silas’s POV
What Nekol told me left me in shock. The most dangerous man is calling me for an audition again—on the same day I created that damn scene.
"Nekol, do you think he’s calling me to kill me?"
"I don’t know. But after what you did today, you’ll be in tomorrow’s articles. Everyone’s eyes are on you, and they finally got the chance to spread rumors."
"You should’ve controlled yourself instead of slapping him. Now, this matter is out of our hands."
I made a gloomy face. Now, Nekol was blaming me for hitting that damn Ciel, who doesn’t even deserve to be alive.
I did nothing wrong by slapping him, and it’s not my fault if I’m in tomorrow’s articles.
Even Damon told me not to filter my personality, so why should I be afraid? Even if fans hate me after seeing that, it won’t affect me much. I’m only doing this acting thing for money.
"I think we should tell Damon about that CEO."
"I don’t think it’ll work. Mr. Damon knows Jeren personally—they even have dinner together sometimes," Nekol said.
"Is that Jeren also from your pack?"
"Nope. He’s a rogue. But there are a lot of stories about him."
That’s when I learned that Jeren was once the crown prince of his pack. But he fell in love with an Omega girl he adored.
However, her pack forcefully arranged her marriage to another pack’s Alpha King.
In the end, Jeren was even ready to run away with her, but she refused—because she was already married.
After that, Jeren gave up his position as the next king and handed it over to his younger brother.
And Jeren still loves that woman dearly. Even after becoming so successful, he has never been seen with any Omega or woman.
A truly heartbreaking love story. I can’t believe people love someone this much—that they keep them in their hearts even if they don’t end up together.
I don’t think I could ever love someone like that unless I saw the same passion in my partner’s eyes. Love should burn from both sides.
While I was lost in thought, we reached the apartment.
But as Nekol parked the car, we saw a huge crowd of fans outside the building—even in the lobby.
The security guard was trying to tell them to leave, but they were here for me.
Just then, Atlas opened the car door for me. I really didn’t want to step out, but I had no choice.
Nekol covered one side of me, and Atlas guarded the other.
The moment fans saw me coming out of the car, they went crazy—screaming in excitement, clicking photos.
I waved at them with a smile, and they rushed toward me.
Luckily, we reached the elevator just in time and closed the door.
Nekol was wearing an earpiece, and once we got inside, he said, "Take all the fans out of the building right now."
Then, he glanced at me. I was also looking at him.
"What happened, Silas?"
"Who did you just give instructions to?" I asked.
"The other bodyguards standing nearby," he replied.
Wait—what? There were other bodyguards? Then why did he come alone to get me out of the car?
I was scared to death, thinking what if he failed to protect me?
I’m not used to fans yet, so sometimes, they scare me. But I sighed in relief, knowing I was safe.
Once we got to our apartment, Nekol shut the door behind us.
"How did they find out where you live? It’s like someone leaked your address," Atlas said.
"I don’t know... and who would even leak my address? I don’t have any enemies."
Other than Ciel, of course. He’s my one and only enemy. Or... was it my dad? I can’t say for sure.
I flopped onto the sofa. Atlas quickly went to the kitchen.
I glanced at him, wondering what he was doing, and saw him searching for something.
Then, he grabbed three glasses, filled them with cold water, and brought them on a tray.
As we drank, the cold water felt like heaven. I didn’t know if they were thirsty, but I definitely was.
"Silas, I think it’s best if you don’t look at any news articles tomorrow," Atlas said. "They’re gonna talk shit about you—those who hate you."
"I don’t care."
That’s when I noticed something—Atlas’s behavior had changed.
Before, he used to stare at me while talking, always sticking his nose into my matters. But now, he wouldn’t even make eye contact.
Which was nice. At least he had learned how to behave.
But what could’ve caused this change?
Did Damon tell him something? Damon did say that Atlas wouldn’t act like that anymore.
Whatever happened, it’s for the better, I guess.
Later, I found out that security was placed inside and outside the building for my safety.
At night, Atlas left—he had a younger brother at home, and he couldn’t leave him alone. So, he’d be going home every night.
Not that it mattered. There was nothing dangerous in the apartment with all the security around.
The only problem?
Tonight, I had nothing to hug while sleeping. Damon sent my teddy to the security department, so I had to make do with a pillow.
It felt different from hugging my teddy, but... what else could I do?
I had to sleep like that, and the next day, when I opened my eyes and checked the news articles, there was nothing about me.
Huh? I was shocked.
I searched everywhere but found nothing—like no one even knew what happened yesterday.
I guess no one saw it.
Well, that’s fine too.
Just then, I saw a message from Damon, so I quickly opened it.
[ Damon: Yesterday, you made quite a little scene, and you know the CCTV cameras captured everything.
Your article was about to be published, but don’t worry—I covered it up for you.
You have me at your back. Since I was the one who told you to show your real personality, you can do anything.
I’ll cover for you—you’ve got my support. ]
Huh? He covered that up?
And what does he mean by I can do anything and he’ll support me?
It’s not like I’m walking around, slapping everyone who crosses my path.
