Chapter 50: The Dark Valley - 3
Silas’s POV
I grab the keys that Theron dropped and quickly unchain my legs. Theron is really powerful because he broke the chains on his feet and hands, too.
That black-haired guy took a step toward Theron and was about to hit him, but Theron dodged and punched him in the stomach. Everyone was watching in silence.
At first, it looked like that guy had strength, but as the fight continued, Theron completely dominated him. The guy was panting, trembling, and looked like he was about to pass out. His whole face was so messed up—like, man... Theron didn’t show any mercy. He didn’t hold back at all.
Even after getting badly injured, that guy kept fighting. But within five minutes, he collapsed to the ground, covered in wounds, and passed out as soon as his back hit the floor.
After that, Theron turned back and glanced at me.
"Ohh, Silas, you were here too? I thought you would’ve run away since cats can’t fight, right?"
"Theron, do you really think this is the right time to joke around?"
"Did you not like my joke?" he asked, making a puppy face.
Man, I couldn’t believe my eyes. How fast did his expressions change? Just a moment ago, he was hitting that guy like he was going to kill him—cold, ruthless, with a predator’s aura. But now he was talking sweetly, like a completely different person.
Just then, the other people who had been standing there for a while started stepping forward to fight Theron. They knew that if they all attacked together, Theron wouldn’t be able to take them down alone.
But who said he was alone?
I was with him.
I had his back.
As soon as they charged at us, we fought back. Theron was knocking them down with just a kick, and I was using both punches and kicks.
Seeing me as an omega, only a few of them attacked me. But I was still taking them down—especially the ones who were talking about eating me earlier.
I had no idea how much time had passed. One after another, whoever came at me, I hit them, and Theron was doing the same. But whenever I turned back, he was right behind me.
Even though I was running while fighting, somehow, Theron always ended up right behind me.
I started getting tired, and just then, my back touched Theron’s. I turned around, but... he wasn’t behind me anymore. He was fighting in the corner.
There were at least 50 or 60 of them, and we were only two people, yet we had already taken down half of them.
While kicking someone, I noticed that omega—the one who had passed out from Theron’s slap. He was awake now.
I thought he’d run toward his boyfriend, but no. Instead, he pulled out a knife from his jacket. It looked so sharp—if someone even touched it by accident, it would pierce right through.
My eyes widened as I saw him slowly walking toward Theron, his knife aimed at him, ready to stab.
Seeing that, I shoved aside the people I was fighting and ran toward him. But before I could get far, someone grabbed my leg. I quickly looked down.
An old man was lying on the ground, and even in this mess, he grabbed my leg to stop me from going to that omega.
I kicked the old man in the face and ran toward the omega. But by the time I got close, he had already reached Theron.
As soon as he was about to stab—
"Theron, behind you!" I shouted.
Theron dodged the attack just in time. I quickly reached the omega, grabbed him, and threw him to the ground. I was about to hit him with my signature move—the one I learned from WWE.
The omega lay there in shock, not even getting up. That gave me the perfect chance.
I held my elbow with my other hand, took a stance, and jumped into the air.
"My name is John Cena!" I shouted, landing on him with full force.
It had been so long since I last did that move—I felt amazing.
When I got up, the omega had passed out again.
What could I do? Even if he passed out, I just took my revenge for that damn slap.
I glanced around and saw Theron staring at me with wide eyes, still gripping someone in his hands.
"Silas... you became John Cena for a moment."
He looked amazed by my move.
What could I do? When I’m this talented, it just happens naturally.
Just then, water started dripping on us like a shower. I didn’t understand where it was coming from. I even looked up, but I couldn’t see anything.
Then I realized—something was wrong with that water.
Theron rushed to my side. I think he realized it too.
Before we could react, our eyes shut.
The next thing I knew, when I barely opened my eyes, I saw people taking us somewhere. But then, darkness again.
When I finally woke up, we were in a dungeon.
Theron was lying on the ground like a corpse, and I was right beside him.
I quickly sat up and tried to wake him. I touched his chest.
"Theron, wake up... look where we are right now!"
"Theron... WAKE UP!"
Hearing my shouting, he snapped his eyes open and looked at me. Seeing me, he hurriedly sat up and cupped my face with both hands.
"You’re fine, right? You’re not hurt anywhere, are you?"
"I’m fine, don’t worry about me. But your head... is it okay?"
"It’s just a scratch. It’s nothing."
How could he call that "just a scratch"? I saw it with my own eyes—how that black-haired guy hit Theron with a baseball bat.
I removed his hands from my face and leaned closer, checking his wound.
Thankfully, it wasn’t deep.
I sighed in relief, and just then, he suddenly stood up, grabbed the dungeon bars, and started scanning the area. I quickly stood up as well and stood beside him, trying to see what he was looking at.
