Silas’s POV

As I went inside his house, Orian was sleeping. I quickly sat down beside him. He was sleeping on the floor, over the quilt of course. I touched Orian’s head. He doesn’t have any fever. Thank God, he doesn’t have. I thought for a second that I was a selfish person. Why did I leave Orian alone with Meyer here? But he seems fine now. In a second, Orian opened his eyes.

"Silas, you are here?"

"Yes, I’m sorry for leaving you all alone here yesterday. And suddenly it started to rain. That’s why me and those four took shelter in a staying place."

Orian quickly sits up as he wakes up and rubs his eyes while stretching his head.

"So, you and your mates have finally done something, hmm?"

"What do you mean if I did something? We didn’t do anything. I’m such an innocent boy. How can I let any Alpha touch me like that? And you are feeling fine, right? Because Meyer said that you are sick," I said.

"I’m totally fine. But, Silas, let’s go. Dad must be worried about us."

I nod and help Orian to stand up. We both come out from the house. But when we were leaving, Orian didn’t say a word to Meyer. I glanced at Meyer. Meyer was looking forward to hearing goodbye from Orian since we were going now. But Orian didn’t even glance at him. And when I told him to do it, he ignored that. What can I do? That’s why we leave from there.

After a while, when we reached the palace, and as soon as we stepped inside, we saw Dad was sitting there on the sofa, and his face was so worried. He comes to us while running as he notices us.

"Silas, Orian, my sons!" Dad hugged both of us. After a few minutes, we were standing there just by Dad’s side. And as soon as those four came inside, Dad was glaring at them. I had noticed it. But then, I grabbed Dad’s hand. Because I wanted to tell him something. Even though this is going to shock Dad, still I had to tell him. Because I don’t want any other person to tell Dad about me and their relationship before me.

"Dad, I have something to tell you. Before you start to scold us about yesterday, please hear me out."

"Silas. Your voice seems so serious. What do you want to say?"

I let go of his hand and stepped forward to those four and stood beside them.

"Actually, Dad, I am dating these four." I know he would scold me more. That’s why I clenched my eyes shut tightly because I had fear of getting scolded by him. He rarely scolds us, but when he does, it’s very scary.

But I didn’t hear any shout, nor him scolding me. Then when my eyes opened, Dad was standing there, frozen. I think I have told Dad news which shocked him. I was about to say something and just then Dad shouted.

"You bastards! How dare you trap my son! Now he’s liking four of you, don’t you feel any shame?"

"No, Dad. It’s not their fault. They even told me to choose one, but I wasn’t able to choose one because I like all four of them. If you’re angry, I’m sorry, Dad."

I was feeling regret seeing Dad’s reaction, like I had done something very wrong.

I looked down, because it seemed like Dad was not happy with my decision. I gripped my clothes tightly.

"I’m sorry, Dad. I’m really sorry. I must have disappointed you." My eyes became teary and just then I saw Dad was standing right in front of me. And he hugged me.

"Silas, when did I say you did something wrong? You didn’t disappoint me at all. You can like whoever you want. You can even like five Alphas. It’s nothing wrong. You’re my son. You can like anyone."

"I didn’t disappoint you, right?"

"Of course you didn’t. How can you disappoint me?" Dad replied.

My mood lightened up when I hugged Dad tightly. After breaking the hug, Dad was still glaring at them.

"I think we should leave now in the evening because we have to prepare for so many things. After all, we are getting married soon. Right, Silas?" As those words left Kael’s mouth, Dad was shocked.

"What did you say!" He snapped at them. But I held Dad’s hand ’cause I didn’t want him to scold them, obviously. The four went into their rooms since they were going to leave soon.

"Why did you save them, Silas... how dare they think about getting married just yet?"

And just then, Orian came and stood in front of us. By his face, I think I knew what he wanted to ask. My eyes turned to Dad, and by Dad’s face I think he also knew what Orian was going to ask.

"Orian, I know you want to know the answer, right?"

"No, Dad. I don’t want any answer. Because I don’t want to get in any relationship with him. Can you please find any Alpha for me? Because I want to forget him now."

What Orian said shocked me. Did they fight? Is this the reason why Orian didn’t talk to Meyer when we were leaving from there? And now he’s telling Dad he wants to forget him? Don’t tell me Meyer is still saying that they can’t be in a relationship, etc.

That fool is really out of his mind. Don’t know what he is thinking. When others are ready to help him, he should accept their help—putting aside his ego. But now, he is ready to put aside his love for that damn Alpha ego.

Me and Dad were looking at Orian, and in a few minutes, Orian’s eyes were wet. He started to cry and came towards us while running. I really feel pity for him when he cried. Dad hugged him to comfort him. Poor Dad. He will have to solve his son’s love life too.

"What happened, Orian? I remember last time you were so happy when you were talking about Meyer. Did you have a fight with him? Or don’t tell me he treated you badly. If yes, then I will go and teach him a lesson," Dad said.
