Mated to Four Alphas -
Chapter 104: Refusing to Apologize
Chapter 104: Refusing to Apologize
Silas’s POV
As I opened my eyes, I found myself lying on my bed in my bedroom. How did I get here?
Just then, last night’s memories rushed into my mind. I was completely lost last night.
When Atlas and I came home, I told him to leave and lock the door. Without any fear, I walked back into my room and lay down.
Ugh, this fucking headache is killing me.
Rubbing my eyes, I sat up and grabbed my phone—only to be met with millions of notifications and messages from people I didn’t even know. Are they my fans?
And then, I saw it.
I was everywhere on the internet. Headlines about me. Articles about me. So many articles.
I had no idea who posted it, but there was a video—me sitting with that man, his child in my lap. Then, the scene shifted to that woman slapping me, accusing me of having an affair with that alpha.
Another post showed me hugging Jeren. And when Kael appeared, I suddenly slapped him.
Who the hell leaked these videos?
With a pounding heart, I clicked on the comment section, and my eyes widened.
[Person 1]: He’s totally a bitch. How can he have an affair with an alpha who’s already married? And did you see how he was holding that child on his lap? Like some kind of mother.
[Person 2]: The way he was hugging Jeren... I’m sure he seduced him. And when my Kael arrived, he slapped him? He doesn’t deserve to be in the industry.
[Person 1]: Right?! I didn’t even know him before. After seeing this post, I searched his name and found out he’s just a new debut actor whose drama is currently airing.
[Person 3]: No! Silas isn’t like this. I’ve met him—I know him. I’m his biggest fan, and I follow him. He’s a hardworking boy. Someone is trying to slander him.
[Person 3]: I’m sure my boy wouldn’t do something like this. And that hug with Jeren? I think he hugged him out of respect.
[Person 4]: They didn’t even show the whole footage. How can you be so sure Silas seduced that alpha?
[Person 4]: For all we know, that alpha could’ve been the one flirting with him! And the woman slapped him, but they didn’t even show what happened next. So how can you judge him like this?
[Person 3]: That guy Kael is ill-tempered. I’m sure he must have said some bullshit to Silas. And about Jeren—I respect him. I don’t think he’d do something like this.
[Person 3]: What you guys are doing—spouting nonsense over a debut actor—if he ends up committing suicide from depression, will you take responsibility?
When I read those comments, I was shocked—but at the same time, I felt a sense of relief. My fans were fighting for me.
They knew I wouldn’t do something like that. Even when it came to me slapping Kael, they understood. Without a reason, I wouldn’t just slap anyone.
That realization made me so happy.
I checked my messages on Stargram. There were millions of people cursing at me, telling me to die. Most of them were Ciel’s fans.
I didn’t bother paying attention to those messages anymore. With a sigh, I quickly turned off my data, climbed out of bed, and headed straight to the bathroom for a shower.
By the time I got ready, I received a message from Damon. He was calling me to the company right now.
Just as I stepped out of my bedroom, the doorbell rang.
When I opened the door, I saw Shine standing in front of me. The moment he saw me, he grabbed my hand.
"Silas, you’re okay, right? Don’t let those comments get to you. I’m serious—stay off the internet for a few days. They’re just spewing bullshit. They’re jealous of you."
I looked at him for a moment before speaking.
"But Shine... who knows? What if I really am having an affair with that alpha? How are you so sure they’re just spouting nonsense?"
"Even if it’s only been a few days since I met you, I can tell. As an Omega, I see the potential in you. You’re not the kind of person who would do something like this."
I smiled and gestured for him to come inside.
"Mr. Damon is calling me to the company right now," I said.
"Then let’s go. I’ll come with you."
"Okay."
After that, we left the building, got into the car, and drove off.
As soon as we arrived at the company, we headed inside.
When we stepped into Damon’s office, I immediately noticed Kael sitting on the sofa. Meanwhile, Damon was focused on something on his laptop.
"Mr. Damon, you called me here?" I asked, looking at him.
To be honest, just seeing Damon made me uncomfortable. His words from last night were still ringing in my ears, repeating over and over like an echo I couldn’t escape.
The moment he saw me, he stood up from his chair and sat down beside his brother on the sofa.
"You two, take a seat as well."
Hearing him, Shine and I sat down on the sofa across from them.
"Mr. Damon, did you see what’s happening on the internet? It’s total Spouting bullshít about Silas!" Shine suddenly said.
"Yeah, I saw," Damon replied calmly. "Our company will release a statement soon."
"And Silas, you’re going to apologize to Kael on the internet. Post on your account that you were wrong—that you shouldn’t have slapped him."
The moment I heard that, I was stunned. What?
Why would I apologize to him? I didn’t do anything wrong. He was the one spouting bullshit about me. So why should I bow my head to him?
Even if Kael was Damon’s brother, that didn’t mean he had the right to tell me to apologize when I had done nothing wrong.
"No, Mr. Damon. I will not apologize," I said firmly.
"Silas, I think you’ve forgotten that you’re talking to your boss right now."
