Chapter 102: First Clash- 1
Damon’s POV
As Kael ran away, I immediately chased after him. The moment he stepped outside the party, he quickly got into his car.
I followed him, and seeing both of us running, Lysander also came after me.
"What happened, Mr. Damon? Where did Kael go?" he asked.
"We need to follow him. Who knows what he might do?"
Our driver quickly brought the car, and both Lysander and I got in, following Kael’s car.
He drove straight to our mansion—the place where we four brothers used to live.
As soon as he arrived, he stepped out and stormed inside. We followed right behind him.
When we entered, I saw him standing near the sofa in the living room.
"What the hell do you think you’re doing, Kael?" I demanded.
"That’s exactly what I want to ask you, brother. What are you doing? Why are you going this far... just for that Omega?" His voice was filled with frustration.
"He slapped me in front of Jeren, and you didn’t even scold him! You just stopped me from slapping him back!"
He clenched his fists.
"Do you like him that much? Or have you forgotten that I’m your brother? Now that you’ve found your Omega, you don’t even consider me your brother anymore, do you?"
What is he saying? That I don’t consider him my brother? Of course, I do. He’s my brother, after all.
I took a step toward him and stood right in front of him.
"How can you say something like that? Of course, I care about you. But what you did today was wrong."
Kael scoffed. "What did I do wrong? I was just telling the truth. He is a player. First, he was playing with you, then somehow, he started playing with Lysander... and even Theron too."
His eyes darkened. "It’s like he’s trapping all my brothers. And now, that old man too? When he already has a sugar daddy, why is he still clinging to my brothers?"
This all happened because of that Jeren. Ever since Silas met him, everything changed.
He started meeting Jeren without even telling me. They even planned to come to the party together, wearing matching outfits.
And now, we brothers—who never used to fight—are standing here, arguing like this.
"Kael, don’t talk about Silas like that. He’s not that kind of person, okay? I won’t tolerate it if you say one more word about him."
Kael let out a bitter laugh. "See? Now he’s that important to you? So important that you won’t tolerate anything bad being said about him? You’re even scolding me because of him, aren’t you?"
I knew Kael was angry because I didn’t take his side, but that didn’t mean he should have said those things.
I stayed silent, not wanting to argue in front of everyone. I didn’t want them to see me scolding my brother or think that we fought like this.
I don’t want anyone to know that our bond is weakening. I want everyone to believe that our brotherly bond is still strong.
Just then, Lysander stepped forward.
"Can someone just tell me what’s going on? And why are you talking about Silas like this?"
Of course, Lysander had no idea what had happened. He had been at the party the whole time.
Kael scoffed, turning to him. "That bitch Silas slapped me in front of everyone. You know how much that hurt my pride."
Lysander frowned. "Why are you swearing at Silas? And tell me—why did he slap you?"
I sighed, rubbing my forehead. I didn’t know what to do anymore or what to say. Because if I took Silas’s side right now, Kael was definitely going to be mad.
And Silas too—he shouldn’t have slapped Kael like that in front of Jeren. Even if Kael was running his mouth... Kael is ill-tempered and gets angry easily.
Silas should have understood that and reminded himself that Kael is my brother. He should have controlled himself.
But right now, the most difficult thing is calming Kael down.
"Kael, go ahead and tell me—what do you want me to do?"
There was no other choice but to ask.
Kael crossed his arms. "Really? Will you do what I ask? Even if I tell you to kick him out of your company, will you do that?"
What? Does he really mean that? Does he want me to kick Silas out of the company? Terminate his contract?
But I was the one who first pursued Silas, convinced him to sign with my company, and made him an artist. How can I just throw him out like that?
"You’re joking, right, Kael? Brother Damon, don’t listen to him. He’s completely lost his mind!"
Lysander called me brother for the first time in years. It caught me off guard.
Normally, he only calls me Mr. Damon—he never wants the world to know that I’m his older brother.
Kael suddenly snapped at him. "Lysander, you’re younger than us. You have no right to interfere when the elders are talking!"
Lysander scoffed. "Fine, then. Do whatever you want. I’m not part of this conversation. I’m leaving."
"Wait, Lysander! At least calm down. Don’t be angry."
I tried to calm him down and talk to him. I knew Lysander was mature enough to understand.
But just then, without warning, he left. He didn’t say a word—just walked away, his face filled with frustration.
I couldn’t stop him. I could only watch as he disappeared from sight. When he was gone, I turned back to Kael.
"Why did you shout at Lysander? You know he’s younger than us."
Kael scoffed. "Oh, so now you’re blaming me for this too? He’s younger than me, so of course, I can do whatever I want. I can slap him, shout at him—he’s my younger brother. You can’t stop me."
Kael really needs to control his temper. I didn’t like how he scolded Lysander. We all pamper Lysander because he’s the youngest.
And we have never scolded Lysander before, even when he made mistakes. But today, Kael shouted at him.
