Chapter 2547 2547: 2547. Elemental Unity

"They are showing their true colors more every day." The words boomed with the might of what anyone else would believe to be an earthquake.

There was a slight flash of flames across the space before a more raspy dry crackling voice responded, "They have taken more than just a race with them. They brought part of the fire elemental plane in to the world and accepted it."

This brought a flurry of water and wind mana to the space as well. They clashed slightly like they had been trying to get what they wished to be spoken as well.

"You have both seen it through what the true sages have witnessed. They have sent their minds across the bridges." The flames reared up yet again, causing the wind and the water to slow slightly.

"They have taken a small village in as well. The wind mana was not strong enough to protect them." The breeze was nearly somber as the wind moved through the space. The meaning behind it is clear to the other elementals what the case was.

"I have not sent enough. There is great potential in many. Even greater potential in the flow that will continue." It appeared that the water elemental voice was not going to hold back, but had not committed just yet either.

"You will all need to decide as we are. There will be a time when all we touch is under the light of their sun. under the control of their wills." The piercing light that cut through the space was honest and clear. It spoke as if there was no other future, just this and it was what should and would be no matter what.

"And who is to say that a child less than five thousand years old will be able to do such things? Those who I foster and allow to grow will not be at their whim. Will not be forced to serve them." The darkness that oozed out made the light retreat but both did not hold one another back, they stood as equals.

"We have all seen it, even now, they search for ways to venture here to help. Venture here to find what they ended for the people they protect, even the newest and weakest who has yet to become a race is getting the same attention as the other races. Soon there will be half breeds uniting affinities that have never been within their world."

This was the same rumbling earthy voice that caused all the elementals to halt. They knew it was more than true and none could argue it. Despite their natures, they were the elemental kings. They had a hand in everything that mana did since they were the will of each mana.

As the world had their elemental spirits who stood for certain manas with the will of the world moving through them, the elemental planes had the elemental kings and the true sages. However, the elemental kings were there because mana had become them, not the other way around. The true sages had mostly been from other aspects of the elemental planes and even the world at times. They had chosen a path of just one elemental mana and embodied it. They were able to venture to the world in some way, shape, or form to see the truths.

"The planes will unite with the world. It has been thousands of years. The world has separated too much. Now we shall allow ourselves to be bound and for the world to truly become one will all that is. In that moment, those at the center will protect it all and ensure survival of any after effects." The same earthy voice reverberated as more mana gathered.

The elemental manas acted in balance. None stronger than the other. All perfect matched as the wills of those who had controlled those manas were focused elsewhere. Yet, neither of those who had been speaking noticed that there were others witnessing it as well.

Others with more unique affinities who stood out as unseen or as more mysterious than what they were. Not that these figures would ever speak out. They were exactly as who and what they were meant to be. They had existed despite the issues and would always remain so. They were a natural force.

Space would always exist. Time would still move. Life would strive to create and death would always match life to ensure a cycle maintained.

All would have a will, yet all would not break an even grander balance they were seeing appear.

'The wills of the elemental kings have begun to unite.''

Walker was working with a small group of hand picked soldiers, guards, and adventurers on the resistance training. Remey had joined himself and Onyx in creating the best process that could be used for each race. While involving a lot more moving pieces than expected it was a great method thus far.

However, when Walker halted both Remey and Onyx could sense that he'd noticed something out of the ordinary. "There's no way you are sensing an issue with my potions. The elemental weakening potions so far have been ideal poisons to use on everyone regardless of race."

"No it's not that."

"Then it's clearly the fact that we have too many people living in the rooms constructed. I thought that you would notice it too brother." Onyx had the theory that too many people would make the training less effective.

"No, I received a word from the world, maybe existence. It said that the elemental kings have begun to unite. I'm not sure what that could mean for the world or the elemental planes." The confusion on his face was clear enough to show them both that he was entirely lost as to what this might mean.

"No quests with it?" Remey didn't see anything other than the generic quests that now appeared with her actions. Helping make this training method was there but as she and the others naturally followed quests with who they were she had stopped paying attention to a lot of what the system said too.

"No quests, just a notice. Like it's important that I know what is happening… I think it's because I have helped speak to the sages and the elemental kings. And now I am helping the world geo even more. Maybe the world will get stronger if they all cooperate more in balancing the mana of the world and elemental planes?" His idea seemed possible but he had no clue whether it would come to be.

'Chain Quest: The elemental shift

The elemental planes are growing, as such the elemental planes are shifting more than normal. This will cause waves and changes in races, all manas, and monsters. There is even more potential to be had in growth for those who face it head on.

Requirement:

Strengthen the ten bridges to the elemental planes to allow a better flow of pure mana in and out of the world and elemental planes.

Close any chaotic mana breaks caused by small elemental planes putting too great of pressure on the space mana as a whole.

Utilize life mana, death mana, and natural mana to enhance the added lands due to closing the breaks made by chaotic mana

The ability to grant quests necessary to the growth of the world and the elemental planes as a whole.'

Walker's breath caught in his throat as he felt this was just too much too quick. He'd been so busy with resistances and how quickly he had been able to make these plans to train others.

Yet, there was some change in the elemental planes and the elemental rulers had begun to unite their will. Whatever that meant, it came with some larger changes to the world and elemental planes that he had to directly work with.

This wasn't simply a bridge to the elemental planes opening, this was the world and the elemental planes becoming significantly more unified as a whole. It was even harder to understand that there were ten bridges and not the few he had already learned of and interacted with.

Besides all that he had to handle the fact that there would surely be more breaks in space where chaotic manas overflowed and smaller elemental planes could be pulled in to the world expanding it even more.

What really shocked him was that he would be able to hand out quests after this first link. It was a CHAIN quest. There would be more links leading to something even larger. Something even more important.

There were big things coming, they might be more of a challenge than what anyone could imagine.
