Aghh, it drained a ton of MP. Or rather, that hurt.

Still, the fishbone structure I thought up this morning while grilling fish, designed to prevent riding up and improve form-fit, turned out to be really effective. As expected, fish are amazing.

Still, the Orphans were thrilled to have matching stuff. Incidentally, and probably no one wants to hear this, or knows this, the Idiots are also wearing backpacks, over their tracksuits. Of course, I wrote IDIOT on theirs in huge letters to make sure they wouldn’t get lost.

Alright, time to test things out, should be fine for Floor 50 or so. It’s a first run and just a prototype, but it turned out pretty decent. The test subject is 『Fang Evil Lv 59』

As I spin, I cleave the one in front of me with a diagonal strike, then step in and slash another one on the upswing. The last one falls with a clean finish.

But for something equipable at level 20, it’s ridiculously good. You can’t even use a proper iron sword until level 30, but this can be wielded at 20 and comes with an effect, even if a minor one. More importantly, it’s meant to reduce the self-damage from Magic Wrap by not equipping the 『Staff of the World Tree』. And maybe thanks to the combo of 『Holy Magic』 and 『Great Sage』, I haven’t taken any self-inflicted damage. This setup might actually work in a long fight. And above all, katanas stir the soul of every true chuuni! I mean, yeah, I’m a second-year, not middle school, but still.

We split into teams of ten and weave through the maze-like corridors, cutting down everything in sight. The 『Fang Evil』 may sound impressive with that fang in the name and its showy, oversized teeth, but it’s just a beast-type demon that specializes in status effects like sleep, blind, stun, and confuse. Which means it doesn’t stand a chance against the girls’ abnormal status resistance focused gear, they cut them down effortlessly. Sure, getting bitten would probably hurt, but its stats are low, and its only physical skill is 『Bite』. Without its debuff tricks, it’s basically just a kobold’s tougher older brother.

「Dancing Girl-san, good work~. Still some left? Well, if we leave them be, the Bitches’ll probably gnaw them to death, and we’ve got Crazy Tanuki too, so in terms of bite-for-bite team comp, we’ve pretty much got the strongest lineup, so it should be alright, I guess?」

And one after another, they were slashed down or beaten to death. There is only one person providing blunt trauma though. Moreover, she is wearing a robe, so they are bouncing a lot. Even if I made her a chestplate, it’d probably shatter from the inside. That thing’s basically a terrifying vibration weapon! Honestly, she could probably kill someone with just a swing of those, but since I can feel bloodlust directed at me, let’s put those thoughts to rest, and just look, respectfully.

Even though the Floor Boss was safely taken down, I still got a lecture.

Dancing Girl-san won’t use it, so I’ll pass it to the girls. If someone can use Earth Magic, the head can be turned to stone, so it should be a highly effective tool of destruction.

Now, on the way down to the lower levels, I’ll practice 『Holy Magic』. If I wait until night, it might turn into 『Lewd Magic』 practice instead, so I’d better get it done now. Though, for some reason it feels like before long actual 『Lewd Magic』might pop up, is it just my imagination? The bottom floor is far away, and so is nightfall.
