Limitless The Strongest Revenant
Chapter 1043 - 1043: Our baby [2/2]

"My lord, we can't even wrap our heads around {Bestow}; how on earth do you think we would come up with Soultech?" Cynthia the head of our Production group complained.

We used Bella's {Fates} to remove the joysticks; this solved the first problem. When we added {Robyn} and {Aki}'s {Fates}, the issue with flight time could now be solved by a single candy bar. But we didn't stop there; we also added Jo's {Fates}, which made the thing silent.

The Seraphs were also given Aki's really old {Program} [Translucent]. It was the lowest form of invisibility the Sirens had. Once applied, so long as the person's limbs didn't move, they remained invisible. Pulling a trigger and hovering didn't break the stealth.

'Jas, Shujin, the Soultech backpacks are performing exceptionally well. Congratulations!'

'Possum, Niggerette, make me some soultech too! I want things that go boom!'

'I didn't think it was possible, Beloved; if we applied my {Fate} to flying drones, could we not make flying shields as well?'

'Hehehe! Darling! Jas! You two rock! We could use today's robots to create Gundams, combat androids, or even Transformers!'

'Hmm, that certainly is true. With Bella and Exa, everything could be automated. While our {Fates} would be the ones that actually make such robots possible. Fufu. You'd think that creating soulgear from thin air would be Dearest's greatest achievement.'

'Hmm. Would building humanoid bodies for Sabel, Henry, and Alfonso even be needed? What can a robot do that a tank or a fighter cannot do better? Thoughts, Mr. Code? I will warn you, though, if you plan to build a robotic waifu, don't.'

Hearing the wild tangents my girls had, I could only smile. Souls could basically power anything in the world of reapers. And with the right {Fate}, fantasy and science fiction could be made real. Exa told me that even back home, Hell's Eden was excited for soultech.

If the proof of concept for Soultech works, it would spark a new wave of innovation. Soularms, the inspiration for Soultech, did not use soulgems. This was why there wasn't any limit to how many soularms one reaper could carry.

And, while soularms were only useful as backup weapons, soultech potential had no limit.

'Haha, thank you, my {Kindred}. This is not just my or Jas's victory. It is ours. It is your {Fates} that will lead us to innovate. We will create all this and more.'

As the girls and I celebrated, our demo shattered the Africans' worldviews. They didn't know we understood them, despite the elders' use of various African languages.

"He made soulgear! From thin air! How is that even possible?" cried one of them.

"That's what you are worried about? They are demons! They heal dead reapers and use them for their armies! Did you see the large number they created? And they are not stopping!"

"I think you are all missing the point; the bigger issue is that this soulgear of theirs can move entire armies in seconds. And did you see the princes they brought back? They were all from opposite ends of the continent!"

"You are all stupid; they have an unnamed Specter that can brainwash even Phantoms! And unlike the Mentalist or the Thoughtweaver, she doesn't even need to be present!"

"I agree, I never knew that the Untamed also evolved into a Specter; the last news I heard of her was that she resigned as the head of the White Guard. I thought the Invincible's boasts about being Limitless's father-in-law were lies."

"Limitless is far too powerful! He commands even monsters! Even their saints are capable of combat! How in the world are they doing all this?"

"Where is Prince Amari? We have to tell him these people are dangerous! How is he sure they will not enslave us and send us to our deaths?"

It was both amusing and sad that they were still hung up on things my girls and I no longer considered interesting. They didn't have {Call My Name}. They wouldn't get it, even if we explained that soultech has bigger implications than {Fabricate}.

Happy with the soultech results, I returned my attention to Operation Shattered Silence. While I had a ton of things I wanted to say to the elders, I held my tongue. Their banter reminded me of Amari. He was still waiting for me to pick him up.

It would be the perfect test of the new gates. Carlos and Herman were already powering them. The only question was whether their coordinates were already set. The Wizards and the bloodline were originally the ones to set the {Portal} coordinates for the first Gate of Irkalla.

"Lilly," I called to my American princess.

"Yes, Dearest?"

"Uhm, can I use the new gates now? I don't exactly know how to open the doors with them," I said a bit embarrassed.

She then glared at me before making an exasperated sigh. Was it just me, or were all the girls sighing way too frequently? Lilly took a moment to compose herself before responding.

"You may. Hellsend has prepared to assist you; just tell Exa, and they will handle the rest. You really should have told me first. The Wizards and the bloodline freaked out earlier, you know! They thought someone had broken our encryption for the warp matrix."

While I did feel a bit bad about surprising them, Lilly's response made me happy. I walked to her and slipped off her mask. I then expressed my affection with my lips to my amazing woman. She didn't resist and just wrapped her arms around me.

'Thank you, Lilly; I am so lucky to have you.'

'Hmph, at least you know how troublesome your actions are. I got terrified when they called me earlier! Phillip, Cynthia, and Van suddenly told me someone joined our warp network. I thought we were found out by a Specter!'

'Hehe, sorry about that. But I really should get you to explain this thing to me,' I replied.

'Do not worry, Dearest. Let it be known that I am a patient spouse. Come with us later on one of the assaults. Seeing how the gate works would be far easier than explaining it.'

'I see. Thank you.'

After our discussion, I finally ended our lewd kiss. Lilly made a faint blush as we parted. Her eyes were glassy and looked incredibly erotic. Our display of affection earned the ire of those around us. The Sirens were expected, but even the African elders began to complain.

"Look! This fucker is throwing millions of people's lives into chaos, and he keeps on flirting with his harem! He is a demon!"

"Yeah! How could he prioritize such frivolities when our continent's future is at stake!"

"Keep your voice down, everyone. We don't know if any of those from Hellsend can speak Arabic, Swahili, or Hausa."

Of course, despite everyone from my army knowing exactly the shit they were saying, none of us cared. And without Amari and his brothers to silence them, they just went on and on. Interestingly enough, Zanele and her aides did not try to stop them.

Figuring there was no point in wasting time, I called to my AI partner, "Exa, open a door to Amari."

A loud thud came from gate number two as Exa was probably working her magic.

[Done.]

Within a few moments, Amari's party returned. The first thing they noticed was that there were three Gates of Irkalla. The second was that there was a large pile of African corpses not far from me.

It didn't even take a moment for the new princes behind him to lose their shit.

"AHHH!!! WHAT IS GOING ON, AMARI? WHY IS THERE A PILE OF CORPSES HERE!"

I was about to introduce him to Ebony, but someone beside Amari acted first. Specifically, it was Olamide and the princes we saved. They all suddenly shifted to their soulforms and began to beat up the ones that came with them.

Confused about what was going on, I only facepalmed in irritation. This was going to be a long ass day.
