Limitless The Strongest Revenant
Chapter 1035 - 1035: Heroine Chapter: Trash [2/2]

With those thoughts, I turned and moved to the revolving door, the Gate of Irkalla.

[Targets 75, 76, 72, 64, and 57 have been chosen. My ladies, please prepare for rapid deployment,] Exa announced aloud.

I was last in the order, so my target was target 57.

[GreedyQueen: Alright, all five coordinates have been set. We will keep them open for 600 seconds. Get in, get your targets, and come back.]

Ten minutes were short for a kidnapping. But that was only for humans. For the Sirens, it was plenty.

'Exa, show me the details for target 57. Also, mark the ones you deem best to keep alive.'

[Understood. Target 57: Prince Malik Akintoye, Domain: Angola, Location: The Lagoon of Desire near his palace. Reapers with him, 15. 2 Phantoms and 13 Wraiths. Humans 32. Target is having a lavish banquet involving imported European and Asian sex workers.]

'…'

I couldn't even comment on what I just heard. This clueless royal partied while attacks on his country occurred in Phase One. But, if one considers Bella's actions to keep them in the dark, this was our intended outcome.

'Truly, Bella's abilities are ridiculous. In a world that relies on technology, she is practically already a goddess.'

The thrum of the portal and loud flashes woke me from my thoughts. The other Sirens had already left for their targets. When my turn came, I similarly leapt forward. I ran in the void corridor and made my way to the exit.

"[Ethereal]," I called out.

___

As I exited the {Portal}, I scanned my surroundings. I was in what looked like a man-made lagoon. It combined nature and functional design, as the inside of the lagoon seemed like a swimming pool. There were naked white women dancing on islands in the center.

Along the edge of the lagoon, there were Africans who sat arrogantly. Girls of all ethnicities were aggressively shaking their hips, trying to pleasure them. Some were being beaten; others were even screaming as they were raped.

Yet the ones around were all laughing as they used drugs and drank hard liquor. It was a place of decadence and immorality. A place that showed the corruption and filth of humanity. But I forced my disgust down and made my way toward my target.

Exa altered my vision with floating markings. It was similar to those you would find in AR games. I followed her directions to see the African prince. I also managed to find all four of the Reapers Exa chose to bring back.

'Hmm. Shall we begin? Exa, how much time do we still have?'

[Lady Aki, you still have 6 minutes and 48 seconds remaining.]

'I see. Then that is enough. [Gluttony's Knives].'

Invoking my latest program, parts of my blood tails fell on the ground. The large clumps then slowly morphed into twelve humanoid figures made of blood. Their sudden appearance did not go unnoticed by the humans or the Reapers.

"KYA!!!" "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!"

The women grew terrified and screamed. The human bodyguards all pulled out their guns and slowly came closer. Meanwhile, I quickly approached the prince from the front.

"Huh? What is going on?"

As he stared at the knives that were simply standing in place, I raised my gun. And I sent an 8.6 blackout round into his skull. The bullet penetrated the prince and violently blew the back of his head off. I then silently jumped on his headless body.

'Knives, kill everyone; start with the humans.'

The room obviously went into chaos. In the same moment, I had my artificial allies move. Their arms, which elongated, formed sharp blades. They all then began to eviscerate everyone in the room. Their movements mimicked mine.

"H-HELP!" "SHOOT THEM!" "WHY AREN'T THEY DYING!" "IT'S A DEMON! RUN!"

Gunshots filled the air. Within seconds, the Knives massacred the dancers and the humans. The Reapers present also sprang into action. They shifted into elemental and animal forms. All-out war began. But I hardly cared.

As the commotion was going on, I stabbed one of my tails into the prince's eye socket. His aides saw the protruding tail but still couldn't move. This was the benefit of being invisible. Until one understood what they were fighting, few would directly move to act.

{What the hell is going on? Something is on my chest. Get it off!} the prince shouted using soul.

The Reapers tried to pull my tail. But I used my gun to shoot them dead. As they could not see me, it looked like a small fire was floating around the prince's corpse!

"It's an angry spirit! We shouldn't come closer! What do we do?!"

"Shut up! There is an invisible enemy! Send souls to your eyes!" screamed one of them.

Yet it didn't matter.

"Brother, I still don't see anything."

"There is nothing—souls, scents, even life signatures! What the hell are we fighting?"

Two reapers approached. One looked like an eagle, and one was on fire. Both were waving their hands above the prince's body. Finding the mere thought of being touched revolting, I canceled [Ethereal]. The fear in their eyes grew palpable as I suddenly appeared.

"[Blood Requiem]," I declared.

My tails attacked the two who came closer. As if they had a mind of their own, my blood appendages stabbed and skewered the two Reapers.

"Ahhh! Brother!" "What are you?!" "You just attacked a prince of Africa!"

My attacks shattered their gems. It led to two reapers suddenly crumpling like dolls without strings. Confusion and panic caused those present to stiffen. It was obvious they were untrained.

Not bothering to explain, I shouldered my gun and began to execute the ones still standing.

Spines, feathers, and what looked like icicles flew towards me. But my blood tails widened to shields and intercepted them. I was about to counterattack when a powerful signature raced towards me.

"{Blink}. [Ethereal]."

"Huh? Where did she go?"

"I can't smell her. She must be an assassin. Her lackeys earlier were powerful!"

A large pair of humanoid lions began analyzing the situation. They were the two Phantoms present. My knives were blood constructs formed using {Shelter} and {Blood Feast}. They were formidable as Exa piloted using my combat data as a reference.

Yet these Phantoms destroyed them all within minutes. But as a result, the lions were covered in blood from head to toe.

"She must have run away because she knew she would lose, brother!"

"As expected of the Lion Brothers of Angola!"

"So powerful! Please let me follow you, brother!"

As the survivors sucked up to them, the headless corpse of the prince still showed no signs of reconstructing. It seems that the Phantom didn't even know he could recreate body parts with souls.

'Trash,' I commented.

I walked toward the still-dead prince and pulled out the Ruger MK II.

'Exa.'

[Your rounds have been replaced with {Restore}.]

'Thank you.'

I aimed at the temple of the prince and shot him. His body began to reconstruct within a few seconds. Compared to Hellsend, the standards of these Reapers were far too low. They do not seem adept at combat or high-stress scenarios.

What's more telling was how none of the Reapers cared that their prince lay dead. The women around him all went to the lions. Truly, when it came to it, only strength mattered. I moved to sit beside the prince and showed myself as he sat up.

The room froze, and everyone tensed up. The prince likewise paled when he saw me.

"Greetings, everyone. I'll be brief. If you all do not wish to die, you will follow my words."

One of the lions charged at me. Yet I simply flicked my fingers.

"[Gluttony's knives]," I murmured.

At once, lion-san's body and soulgem exploded. His hollow corpse walked a few more steps before it collapsed. Out of the blood that burst out of him, a new knife emerged.

"Anyone else want to try? I still have two minutes," I challenged with a smile.
