Chapter 86: The special facilities
As Forsyx entered the evolution lab, the first thing he noticed was a massive black metal object floating right at the center of the hall.
This was the heart of evolution—the gene machine. A crucial machine that was required for both the mutation and creation methods.
Next to the machine, he even saw a big bookshelf with only a single book titled Experiment Log.
This book was interesting as it recorded all the stuff he did inside the entire lab.
Kind of like keeping a record of his lab’s progress.
At both ends of the hall, there were two other sub-facilities.
Next to the right wall was an operating room that had a gigantic table with all the surgical tools laid out—a vital facility for the mutation method.
To the left was another massive hall, this one covered in white marble from floor to ceiling.
This was the artificial hall that allowed him to customize the environment around the hall.
It was best used to provide a comforting environment for monster eggs.
The customization allowed him to build different kinds of extreme environments within different parts of the hall to suit the needs of those eggs.
He was kind of surprised not to see the Hibiki snake eggs here. After all, this should’ve been the best place to nurture those eggs.
This concerned him a bit.
If those eggs were randomly placed, then there was a chance they might never hatch.
He wasted no time and walked out of the evolution facility.
Same as in his last life, the next facility was the time storage, which was more advanced than his space inventory.
Anything stored there had its time frozen, allowing Forsyx to retrieve the items in the same condition as when he placed them inside.
Forsyx even searched the entire storage facility, but to his shock, he found no trace of the snake eggs.
He grabbed his head for a moment. This should have been the last facility opened in the second upgrade.
Don’t tell me those eggs were inside some locked room. No, that’ll screw up my whole plan.
The next upgrade to his lab was only possible after level 50—that was beyond Tier 1 city.
He was about to curse aloud when the image of the two red beams of light falling on the lab flashed through his mind.
Wait, don’t tell me those red lights meant new facilities...
He walked out of the storage facility and began checking all the closed doors.
All of them had empty nameplates, but still, he tried pushing them just to make sure he wasn’t missing anything.
Beyond those three facilities, all the other rooms remained closed throughout the front and middle sections of the lab corridor.
Soon, he reached the point where he could see the lab master’s office at the end of the corridor.
As he looked at the master’s office, and suddenly paused.
He spotted two facilities that looked like the others but had weird red wooden doors.
They were completely different from the black metal doors the other facilities had.
He wasted no more time and rushed to them. He noticed a slight opening beside each of the facilities.
The one to the left of the master’s office had a large carved-out sign that read Blood Nursery placed over the door.
As he pushed open the door, he saw a massive hall with red walls and green vein-like lines running all over it.
At the center of this hall, he found large transparent cocoons containing Hibiki snake eggs.
As he stepped further inside, a red glass panel floated next to him with text:
[ Welcome to the Blood Nursery. ]
Current blood cocoon in use: 7.

Forsyx just stared at the nursery and the blood cocoons in fascination.
He never expected to gain such an advanced facility to unlock inside his lab.
This wasn’t just an incubation chamber. It was a weapon factory in disguise.
In his last life, something like this would’ve made him progress much faster than other monster-bound players.
He controlled his emotions and tapped on the blood cocoon text, and its description popped up:
[ Blood Cocoon: A special cocoon that provides optimal nursery conditions for specific kinds of eggs to hatch safely.
Special Function: Allows the user to see an approximate potential and hatching time. ]
Forsyx started laughing loudly. "Haha, this is just perfect."
Beside him, Weyril looked at both him and the cocoon. He pointed at the biggest egg and asked, "Boss, what the hell is inside that egg?"
Forsyx looked at Weyril’s finger and then read the report.
Even the lab was unable to detect the creature inside that egg.
He just shrugged his shoulders. "Well, all I can say is that an abomination is inside that egg."
"Abomination," Weyril mumbled, a wide smile stretching across his face.
Forsyx looked at Weyril and then at the nursery.
He didn’t dare to take any risks with that egg, so without wasting a moment, he used his master’s authority to place a movement restriction on the blood nursery.
Weyril eagerly extended his hand toward the nursery, only to meet an invisible barrier that stopped him.
He turned to Forsyx in frustration. "Boss, how could you do this to me?"
Forsyx focused on the special blood requirement and said to Weyril, "It’s just to train you. I want you to stand in front of the blood nursery and master your urges to step inside."
When Weyril heard the word training, he looked back at Forsyx, then at the nursery.
He swallowed the saliva that had built up in his mouth and nodded. "OK, I will not let the kill control me."
Forsyx didn’t care much about that.
All his focus had already shifted to the hatching condition.
