An accidental group broadcast that turned into a group chat, now I’m being repeatedly whipped by these six men.

"You’re so annoying," Xiao Jinsheng circled around Mo Jiao and headed to the kitchen.

Today, Xiao Jinsheng rare as it was, woke up early. After breakfast, she brought the six men into the Space.

Some planted trees, some built houses.

As for her, she was training her physique and learning sword techniques with Su Ye.

After finishing a simple set of warm-up exercises with Su Ye, Xiao Jinsheng panted, watching Su Ye, who didn’t even break a light sweat, as he started doing push-ups again.

Her gaze fixated on his exposed arms, muscles tensed beneath his wide-necked white tank top, appearing solid and powerful. She found a piece of stone slab, ready to sit down.

"Don’t sit on the ground," Su Ye looked up at her.

"But there’s nothing else but stones to sit on; this place isn’t ready yet," Xiao Jinsheng grumbled.

The Space was vast, and their priority was the construction near Crescent Moon Lake.

Since she was practicing sword techniques with Su Ye, she had come to the still barren southern hillside.

"Come here," Su Ye patted his lower back with a backhand. "The ground’s cold. If you want to sit, sit here."

"Are you serious?" Xiao Jinsheng’s fox-like eyes widened.

"You’re doing push-ups! Can I really sit on you?" Xiao Jinsheng asked with a mix of anticipation and hesitation.

"Your weight is nothing," Su Ye clicked his tongue dismissively.

Xiao Jinsheng noticed he was doing one-handed push-ups, still at ease and chatting with her.

Her eyes sparkled with interest. "I’m really going to sit then."

"Go ahead," Su Ye chuckled, holding his position, waiting for Xiao Jinsheng to sit down.

Xiao Jinsheng crossed her legs and sat on his back. Grabbing his shirt to steady herself, Su Ye began his push-ups.

The up-and-down motion felt more fun than riding a bouncy car in an amusement park.

Xiao Jinsheng couldn’t keep her laughter in, her mouth curving uncontrollably into a wide grin.

"Having fun?" Su Ye teased lightly.

"So fun!" Xiao Jinsheng exclaimed excitedly.

She stayed perched on Su Ye’s back for over twenty minutes. If her crossed legs hadn’t gone numb, she probably wouldn’t have gotten off so soon.

Looking at Su Ye, who had performed push-ups with someone on his back for nearly half an hour, she noticed he’d only broken a light sweat.

Even with the strength of Superpowers and Beastification in this Apocalypse World, wasn’t his stamina a bit too ridiculous?

"Rested enough?" Su Ye asked as he went to grab Xiao Jinsheng’s Tang Blade.

"All set!" Xiao Jinsheng nodded eagerly, her eyes filled with anticipation as she watched Su Ye’s next move.

To avoid Xiao Jinsheng accidentally cutting herself during her initial practice, Su Ye handed her a wooden sword he’d crafted overnight.

"Start with a wooden sword to learn the moves. Once you’re skilled with it, we’ll switch to the real blade," Su Ye advised.

"Can you demonstrate for me first?" Xiao Jinsheng asked, her gaze falling on her own Tang Blade in Su Ye’s hand.

"A demonstration? Sure," Su Ye replied with a grin.

The moment he unsheathed the blade, his golden eyes sharpened, their piercing edge intensifying.

A fierce aura radiating, he leaped gracefully into the air, holding the blade in hand.

With each slash, his figure was unruly yet elegant. Xiao Jinsheng listened to the powerful sound of the blade slicing through the air, her eyes following the streaks of afterimages that the Tang Blade formed in his swift movements.

If the scene of Su Ye wielding a blade to slaughter Fog Corpses was all blood and carnage,

then what unfolded before Xiao Jinsheng’s eyes now was a fusion of deadly intent and artistic beauty.

Enraptured by this visual feast, when it was Xiao Jinsheng’s turn to practice, she trained earnestly under Su Ye’s hands-on guidance.

After spending the entire morning training and leaving the Space, she was greeted with a table full of hot dishes waiting for her.

Already famished, Xiao Jinsheng didn’t dive at the food but instead pounced on Yu Yunxiao, who had just walked in from outside.

"Ahhh, what’s this sudden attack for?" Yu Yunxiao quickly set down the bag he was holding and wrapped his arms around her waist to steady her.

"It hurts! Little cat, save me!" Xiao Jinsheng cried dramatically.

"Did you go out and bicker with Bai Yan again today?" Yu Yunxiao asked.

"Why on earth would I purposely pick a fight with her? I don’t go looking for trouble," Xiao Jinsheng said incredulously. "I was practicing sword techniques with Su Ye today. Now my arms and thighs are so sore."

"Don’t you have a Healing Superpower? Can’t you heal muscle soreness?"

"Nice try." Yu Yunxiao clicked his tongue but still lifted her up, placing her gently on the sofa. A faint glow of scattered Healing Power enveloped her body.

Before long, Xiao Jinsheng’s sore muscles felt completely normal again.

Humming a tune in delight, she crooked her finger at Yu Yunxiao.

"What now? I’ve already healed you," Yu Yunxiao looked at her in confusion.

"Come closer, I’ve got a treasure to show you," Xiao Jinsheng said mysteriously.

Unable to suppress his curiosity, Yu Yunxiao leaned in. "What treasure?"

As soon as he got close, Xiao Jinsheng grabbed hold of his cat ears with her hand.

She kneaded the soft, bouncy pair of cat ears and exclaimed, "Wow! Beastman cat ears feel just like real cat ears—cool and silky to the touch!"

"Xiao Jinsheng!" Yu Yunxiao’s face turned bright red. "I just healed you, and now you’re taking advantage of me?"

"What’s it to you?" Xiao Jinsheng huffed playfully.

Yu Yunxiao pulled her hand away, rescuing his cat ears. "You want me to drop it? Then don’t touch."

With reddened ears, he turned and dashed off in a fluster.

After petting the cat, her training-induced soreness was cured too.

Now seated at the dining table in deep thought, Xiao Jinsheng deliberated.

If she brought Yu Yunxiao along, could she train endlessly?

Whenever she felt pain or exhaustion, Yu Yunxiao could just heal her.

Holy crap, she’s practically invented a perpetual motion machine.

"Eat," said a familiar voice, shoving a pair of chopsticks into her hand. Xiao Jinsheng didn’t need to look up to know it was Que Zelian.

"Let’s take on another task tomorrow and head to Mist West again," Xiao Jinsheng proposed.

The last time they took a 3-star mission, there was a reward of 30,000 points for their terminal’s Durability.

But thanks to Li abducting her, the five men had to storm deep into Mist West to rescue her, and that 30,000 Durability was wasted.

They only earned the terminal-rewarded Starstones for completing the 3-star mission.

Split among the whole group, those Starstones were nowhere near enough.

In Mist Continent, whether it involved spiritual power or the Superpowers wielded by Beastmen, 5 Stars marked a significant watershed.

The resources required jumped a hundredfold at that mark.

"I’m in," Su Ye said. "It’s a good chance for you to practice combat with your sword techniques."

The six men present voiced no objections. It was almost as if whatever Xiao Jinsheng said went.

Just as Xiao Jinsheng picked up her chopsticks and was about to eat, a knock came from outside the door.

Xiao Jinsheng furrowed her brows. "Could it be Bai Yan again?" she muttered in puzzlement.

Bai Yan was undeniably annoying.

Their relationship had deteriorated to such a point—they’d argued, they’d fought—yet Bai Yan always came knocking with a smile.

Just the thought of Bai Yan made Xiao Jinsheng fume.

She set down her chopsticks, storming off. "I’ll get the door."

If it were Bai Yan, she’d make sure to verbally annihilate her!

Xiao Jinsheng had prepared a litany of "friendly greetings" for Bai Yan. But when she opened the door, her mind blanked.

Outside stood a man draped in white gauze, ethereal as if a Greek god had descended to earth.

His blue hair was interwoven with pearls, and the gilded white crown on his head shimmered under the sunlight.

His ice-blue eyes gazed kindly at Xiao Jinsheng as he smiled politely and asked, "Good afternoon, madam. Is Li living here by chance?"

"He’s looking for you," Xiao Jinsheng turned to look back.

Li approached with a grim expression, pulling Xiao Jinsheng inside and slamming the door shut with a resounding bang before locking it.
