Shuihua drove the train while everyone else trained.

Lin Wu and Qinglang huddled together under the only blanket for their training—it was simply too cold.

The girls wielding the repeater guns could only shiver outside in the cold.

After showing them how to load the gun, Maya patiently instructed Hong Yi on how to aim.

Soon after, Hong Yi caught a cold and was hospitalized, followed by Shuihua.

With Shuihua out, Maya, as the trainmaster, took over the driving duties.

Continuing like this, everyone would end up sick, so Lin Wu suggested, "Let’s kill a few NPCs; maybe we can strip them of their clothing.

Even if that doesn’t work, at least we can take back some blankets."

Maya said, "A cold won’t kill anyone, nor will it affect our combat abilities."

Lin Wu was the last to get up, seeing everyone flocking to the front to inquire about the situation, he too got down from the bed—surprised he could sleep in such cold weather.

Glancing toward the passenger car, Lin Wu saw through the glass door someone riding a horse on the train tracks, pursuing the train.

He shouted, "Cowboys!"

As the words left his mouth, a bullet hit the nearby window, and Lin Wu instinctively ducked for cover.

Peeking out, he saw a female cowboy with a double-barrel shotgun, following the train’s side on horseback.

As soon as she saw Lin Wu extend a hand, she fired another shot.

Lin Wu waited for the shot to pass, and returned fire leaning against the window with his pistol.

The cowgirl leaned to the horse’s left side, extending the barrel of her gun from under the horse’s belly.

Lin Wu leaped to the floor, toppling Hong Yi who was coming to check on the situation, and a handful of steel balls shot through the window into the carriage, bouncing off the walls.

Lin Wu stood up only to see the cowgirl slowing down, losing his shooting range, and he shouted to report, "A hundred meters out, seven horses running parallel to the train." MoMo, just how many good brothers do you have?

Maya was at the front of the train, shooting out the door, "Shuihua, speed up."

Rather than accelerating, Shuihua started to slow down, "Four kilometers ahead, there’s a stone on the tracks."

Maya commanded, "Maintain a speed of 20 kilometers per hour. Lin Wu, go to the passenger car.

Qinglang and Hong Yi, defend the medical and supply carriages."

A cowboy caught up from the right, brandishing a long gun. Maya fired first.

Due to the different speeds and jolting, the bullet missed the cowboy but, luckily, hit the horse, which let out a piteous whinny as horse and rider tumbled together.

When Lin Wu arrived at the passenger car, two cowboys had already boarded, due to the train’s deceleration.

One cowboy kicked open the rear door entering the cabin, and another climbed onto the roof.

"Down if you value your life!" Lin Wu dived behind a seat, raising his gun to exchange fire with another cowboy who had also taken cover.

Both wielding revolvers, they emptied their chambers, then reloaded in unison, each thinking they had reloaded faster

Standing up together, they immediately ducked and reached out to shoot at each other again.

After reloading once more, Lin Wu called out, "Wai."

Wai immediately bounded onto the seat and lunged at the cowboy ten meters away, while Lock Head finished him off.

Lin Wu didn’t have time to loot the body; he reloaded his pistol first. Yes, he had only loaded one bullet just then.

After reloading, Lin Wu looted with one hand while keeping his gun ready with the other.

Just as Lin Wu grabbed a bandolier with 12 bullets, the cowgirl reappeared on the left, shattering three windows with the blast of her shotgun.
