Peri gulped. Why did that stone-faced CEO just laugh? Was it something he said?

And why is that? Because we work together every single day." Taiha explained. "Jeon Peri!" He called with a fierce tone and Peri flinched.

Dongwoo was touched. Taiha stood up for him. He cleared his name. He was so grateful that he had tears whelming up in his eyes.

Peri was still being stubborn, even when the scale had tipped out of his favor. Everyone was talking about how much of a disgrace it was for a ’big shot’ to stoop so low.

"Tch!" He took back his hand from Taiha’s hold. "He was setting his ass out like he was asking to be groped, what should I have made out of his actions?" He shamelessly asked.

"Oh my, he’s so disgusting."

"He should just apologize and leave. At this rate, he’ll be all over the headlines."

Taiha grabbed him by the collar.

"I don’t care if you’re older than me. A piece of shit is still a piece of shit. Now, apologize!" He demanded.

Dongwoo watched as this happened.

’I’ve never seen Taiha Sunbae so angry before. In fact, I’ve never seen him angry. At most, when the outfit doesn’t come out right or his camera falls, he just hisses and cusses in frustration. I can’t believe he’s this angry for my sake.’

Yes, he felt touched. So touched that it finally felt like he was living. He felt he could breathe with other people around and felt he could stand tall with the people who were standing next to him.

He took a step forward.

"Hyung, where are you going?" Seojin asked.

Dongwoo signaled Seojun to crouch down. Since he was the only one always stepping forward with his fist, he was the perfect person to ask.

Seojun heard what he had to say and nodded.

He was pleased. He took out something from his pocket and handed it to him.

"This was my secret." He said.

Dongwoo looked at what it was with surprise in his eyes and tilted his head. Why did Seojun carry knuckle braces around?

"Use it well, Hyung. We’ll support you." Seojin said. Though he didn’t know what Dongwoo said to his brother, he had a hunch it had to do with punches.

Seeing they were both in support, Dongwoo became a lot more courageous.

He stepped forward after putting on the braces and said,

"Sunbae-nim, he doesn’t have to apologize." He said and Taiha turned to look at him in wonder.

"I know you’re kind-hearted, but we can’t let him go. He’s the kind of scumbag who will repeat his actions over and over till someone puts him in his place."

’Wow, why does that sound like something Seojun would say when he’s pissed?’ Dongwoo thought. ’Is this how angry people behave?’

"At best, we can’t let him get away with what he did to you."

"Oh, no," Dongwoo shook his head. "I’m not letting him off. I’ll exchange his insults and repulsive words with the bite mark I gave him on his hand." He smiled and stopped directly in front of Peri. "As for this," he pointed at his face. "...I think I’ll pay it back in the same manner."

And before anyone knew it, Dongwoo had punched Peri with the knuckle braces and cracked his jaw in the process.

Because he knew his punches would be weak, having never thrown a punch before, Dongwoo asked Seojun what he did to make his punches harder, aside from training regularly.
