Chapter 319: I came across Seojin at the bar
Seojin’s original plan?
Well, it was nothing extravagant, and nothing big. It was quite simple. He just needed to lure Song Haijin and ruin her for all that was worth it and not even get directly involved.
He just needed to show his face a few times for the camera to capture but after that, he would leave the rest to his plan.
And to begin his plan, he needed to make it seem like it was all a coincidence.
"Hold on a minute," the lady on the counter got down and went after him but he ignored her. "You can’t just walk away." She said and caught his arm but he flung her hand off and wrapped his arm around the lady who just walked in.
"Sorry, my company has already arrived." He said with a proud grin and the lady whom he had wrapped his arm around was none other than Song Haijin.
Song Haijin, who had just walked in and didn’t know what was going on, was shocked to see Seojin. But she was even more shocked to find him wrapping his arm around her.
"Seojin?" She called and then looked at the girl who was after her. Ah, it was clear what the situation was.
She folded her arms and said,
"Get your cheap ass away from here. Can’t you see he’s been waiting for me?" She took on the role quite well and the lady gritted her teeth.
Just when she thought she was going to catch a big fish with this one.
"Bitch!" She cussed and walked away, making sure to brush her shoulder hard against Song Haijin.
But Song Haijin did not take that lying down and pulled her hair, shocking everyone as the hair came off. It was a wig.
This lady felt utterly humiliated and Song Haijin scoffed at her.
"You’re just so fake everywhere. Even your hair isn’t real. How do you think you are worthy of talking to Seojin?"
The lady, furious, snatched her wig from her and stomped away. She wasn’t the type to start fights.
But if she had the opportunity to get back at that crazy bitch, she would.
"Thanks," Seojin said, and Song Haijin blushed, swiping her hair behind her ear.
"Ehem, it was no big deal. Bitches like her don’t amount to anything." She said, trying to act timid.
"Hm, is that so?" Seojin leaned his head closer to her, causing her heart to thump and then he said, "I guess this is the part where I buy you a drink as appreciation for your help."
Song Haijin gushed at this offer and she nodded.
"Yeah, let’s... Let’s have a drink."
Honestly, she had no idea why he was suddenly acting so nice to her, but she imagined this was his true nature when there were no cameras.
Then... Could this be her chance? If she just had the opportunity to get intimate with him and caught it on camera, then she would be able to make the headlines, and most of the accusations against her would be swept under the rug.
Most of her endorsement deals had been canceled and she had been getting lesser jobs by the day. With this... She just might get back on her feet and also have Seojin for herself. It was a win-win.
They sat on the counter and she watched Seojin order a drink for her.
Up close, he was so handsome. His face was practically shining and that hair... What product did he use to maintain it? She wondered.
She had already heard from her CEO that Seojun and Seojin were the children of famous supermodel Allegra, and that was why so many big names were trying so hard to sponsor them.
If she was able to get with at least one of them, wouldn’t that bag her a place as the daughter-in-law of that famous supermodel?
Ooh, she couldn’t stop dreaming about it?
"Um, excuse me for a minute, I need to make a call." She said, slightly shaking her phone and he nodded.
"Yeah, go ahead." He said, flashing his smile that made her heart flutter.
She got down, walked towards the restroom, and made a call across to Shinwoo.
"Hey, I need one of those reporters. Hint then off to come to the bar at Filips." She said.
"Wait, what for? What are you planning to do?" Shinwoo asked.
"I came across Seojin at the bar. I want to try to get him drunk so we can engage a bit. I need it on camera so hurry it up."
Shinwoo was a bit skeptical. Why did this look so unnatural?
Well, it was a coincidence this time around. Nothing would happen, he thought.
"Alright." He said and Song Haijin cut the call.
She knew this was her time to shine so she was going to take it.
She made sure to touch up her makeup, make sure she was looking stunning and walked out.
Seojin was talking to the bartender, who couldn’t help but blush that a handsome man like him was talking to him and with a smile, too.
’Gosh, he’s so gorgeous.’ she thought and went to sit next to him. "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"No problem." He said. "So, ready to drink till we drop?"
"Ah, I don’t know about dropping but I do know I want to get wasted." She picked up her glass and tapped it with his. "Cheers."
(Seriously, isn’t she stupid? Someone who showed strong disgust at the beginning was suddenly smiling at you and acting nice. You choose to believe your eyes and not reason. This is how you’ll dig up your own downfall)
A few minutes later, she got a text from Shinwoo that the reporter was already close by.
She downed one more glass and glanced at Seojin. She would just down a few more glasses and then she would start her act.
But after the next glass, she started feeling drunk, for real. She was dizzy, and she couldn’t even seem clear. Had she drunk so much? She couldn’t tell.
She was sure she had a high tolerance for alcohol, yet she was already defeated after half an hour.
"I... I think I’m drunk already."
