Chapter 216: Seojun gave in to his anger
After Taiha left for the bunker and Eunkyung got mad at what a guy from the other crew said, it all went down from there.
The other crew started whispering amongst themselves and snickering as if Eunkyung’s group was reacting like that because they knew it was the ’truth’.
"Shut your mouth!" Eunwoo flared at them and they went silent. "Why do you keep saying things out of assumption? You could hurt someone with your words."
"Oh, but what if it’s not a mere assumption?" A guy named Choimin stated and they furrowed their eyebrows.
"What’s that supposed to mean?"
"It’s exactly what you heard." He folded his arms. "How can you explain that sudden rise to fame? I would understand if it was Meong Taiha who got the job as the stars photographer, but that newbie? Why should he be the one taking the shots? Does he even know anything about cameras? I bet Meong Taiha babysits him all the time and does all the work. I feel so bad for you."
"Oh, that’s it!" Doha also intended to tackle that bad-mouthed fella to the ground, but Dooshik held her back.
"Hey now, let’s not get rough." He said.
"Why not? They’re clearly asking for a beating." Doha flared, wiggling her legs, and trying to get free from Dooshik’s hold.
"What? Do you plan to hit us here and get your crew in trouble?" The other crew snickered. "You may be from Wailers, but they will not settle the cost if low lives like you dare to hit someone, so you’re on your own."
"Oh, I don’t need Wailers to settle anything. I’ll settle things with you right here and now. Come on!" Doha yelled but Dooshik had a tight grip around her.
Things were getting out of hand, and as much as he hated what the other crew was spouting, they could not afford to get into a fistfight with them since they were from another company.
They would definitely twist the story in their favor and make the public see them as the bad party.
He didn’t want that.
’Let’s just stay calm till the director gets back. Then, this will all be over. They won’t dare spout nonsense like that if he’s around.’
But the other crew seemed to want to provoke them with all they had. They sneered and snickered, belittling them as they tried to calm their angry nerves.
"Just look at you," they began again. "You’re acting so rowdy. Do you have something to do with that puny photography as well? Haha, maybe he’s giving you all ’nice’ favors to please you all."
Dooshik’s eyebrows furrowed.
"What did you say?"
"Meong Taiha favors him as well. Could it be he’s also involved? Bah! Looking at all your reactions, you all must be in on it too. Those twins are definitely included."
"What the hell are you bullshiting on about?" Eunwoo yelled at them. "Huh? Let’s hear it."
"It’s quite simple." He pointed at one and then traced it to the last person standing with them. "Your group is a group filled with people who pass backdoors. If not, most of you could never get into Wailers! It’s disgusting."
Eunkyung lost it and shoved Yaeran away. She didn’t want to be stopped. She wanted to hit that disgusting face and that disgusting mouth that dared spout rubbish.
"Eunkyung, no!" Jiwoo made sure to hold her back while Yaeran got back on her feet and also joined in.
They couldn’t let her go. If she did, God knows what would happen.
"Don’t hold me back. Let me hit that mouth!" Doha said, struggling with Dooshik who was fighting his urge to also go up to them and hit them.
Eunwoo was not left out either. Other crew members held him back and that other crew sniggered.
"Say that again?" Eunkyung roared, grinding her teeth as she struggled with those holding her back. "Say it and watch me rip your mouth out you filthy scum."
At that same time, Dongwoo and his party arrived, only to see that all hell was breaking loose and their crew members were acting like jaguars.
"What in the world?" Taiha exclaimed, placing his hand on his head.
It was from one drama to another, eh?
"What?" They looked at the other end that was fearlessly waiting to receive Eunkyung’s fury and heard them scoff nonchalantly. "It’s true. Isn’t it? Your crew is filled with people who pass backdoors, and that little photographer is definitely the most disgusting. Word’s going around. It’s not just me that thinks like this. He whored his way into where he is today. His body count is definitely going up to thirty, hehe."
This was the most crazy they had heard in all their filthy remarks.
Dooshik let go of Doha and wanted to make the first strike but he halted on his steps as he watched Seojun dash towards that big mouth and threw him a punch that sent him flying.
Dongwoo gasped and looked at his side right away. When did he get there?
He was standing over... For the love of God, things were becoming a mess.
He turned to Seojin, hoping to get him to stop his brother but he was grinding his teeth with a dark expression, using all he had to keep himself from following in Seojun’s footsteps.
Dongwoo gulped. What was he going to do?
He needed to stop Seojun.
Meanwhile, Seojun cracked his neck and then his knuckles. There was a shinning thing on his knuckles and with a closer look, one could see it was braces. He had put on the braces to punch that guy.
With an exasperated breath, Seojun spoke,
"Go on." He slowly approached where that guy had landed. "It seems you have no use for your mouth. This may very much be your last time using it so make sure to say your last prayer."
He grabbed his collar, raised him up to display his bleeding face, and clenched his fist, ready to throw yet another punch.
He glared at him with bloodshot eyes, his veins crawling up his neck and even his forehead.
He was angry. So angry that his head was filled with so many ways to kill the guy in his hands.
"This is too light a punishment for your filthy words but I guess it’ll have to do for now."
"Seojun, stop!" Dongwoo yelled but Seojun was dead set on smashing his face. "You have to stop right now!"
"Sorry, Hyung but I won’t listen to you this time. He dared to spill such filthy things about you so this is the price he shall pay."
With that, he landed the punch. Blood splattered on his fist as he smashed the face of the one who dared to defame and spread rumors about his dear Hyung.
Dongwoo could not watch. A lot of people couldn’t. It was so brutal.
"Hey, that’s enough." Taiha said approaching. "You’re going to her yourself in trouble if you end up killing him."
"I don’t care." Seojun declared and kept hitting him.
"Don’t be stubborn. It’s not going to be just about you if you kill him. You’re going to drag us all in it, including the kiddo." As soon as he said this, Seojun paused. "You’ve smashed his mouth quite well, so I doubt he’ll ever get to spout such nonsense in the future, but that should be enough. Don’t create unnecessary trouble, okay?"
Seojun thought about it and threw the man down. He was already unconscious with his face bleeding from all corners.
"It makes me so angry." Seojun said and Taiha patted his back.
"It makes us all angry. But I believe you’ve vented a lot on our behalf." He said.
The other crew was terrified at what they just watched. Someone had been recording the whole thing since earlier and thought that this would fetch him a lot of money once he sold it to a reporter.
But while engrossed in this thought, someone snatched it from him, and he turned to find Doha and Dooshik.
"Hey, give me that." He tried to take it back from Doha but Dooshik blocked him.
"You guys got some nerves. First, you started this whole mess, and now you want to create a scandal with this. Not happening." She wanted to delete the video but then a thought played in her mind.
So, she took out her own phone and then sent it to her phone. After which, she removed the phone from its pouch, threw it to the ground hard, and smashed it. She stepped on it repeatedly, making sure it was shattered properly, and then searched through it for the phone’s memory storage.
One couldn’t be too careful.
The owner of the phone stared in shock. He was wide-eyed in disbelief. Then, his eyebrows furrowed and he pointed his fingers at her, ready to accuse her of a crime.
"You... You..."
"Careful now," She placed a hand on his shoulder and whispered, "...be lucky I only smashed your phone. If not, we just might get Seojun Oppa to beat you up for secretly recording. Just as he did to that guy." She said, clearly threatening him. "So keep your mouth sealed if you don’t want to lose it."
And he was too scared to refute, or make a noise.
This was far from enough to quench her anger, but she had to be content with this.
This day had been a wreck and there was no way they were going to film that ad anymore.
Minwoo got back from his little ’trip’ with Sungho and saw the commotion. He was confused because he was sure they would at least be halfway into filming by the time he got back but it was all a mess.
"Hm? What’d I miss?"
