Chapter 117: No, my eyes were working fine

Seojun looked at me and laughed. My reaction to his poke must’ve been funny.

I didn’t even know I could react that way, but I guess my body was still feeling sensitive after all that sex.

"Hyung, are you shy about the word ’stamina’?" He asked but I strongly refused, shaking my head quite vigorously.

"No, not at all." I said, but I couldn’t calm the redness on my face. "How... How to improve my stamina?" I asked in a low tone that was next to a whisper.

"What was that?" He asked with a smirk on his lips. He heard me, didn’t he? He just wanted to hear me say it out loud.

"Forget it." I said and dropped the bag of cat feed on the floor. "Let me clean this up first. Please, sit for a while. I’ll be done soon."

"Don’t worry, Hyung, I’ll do it." He said but I shook my head.

"Don’t. Just sit down and wait for me. I can’t have a guest doing the work while I sit." I said with an awkward smile and Seojun tilted his head.

"A guest?" He approached and wrapped his arms around me. "Am I just a guest, Hyung?"

"T-that..." I shook my head. "No, you... You’re not but... It’s your first time here and... And... Just sit down first, please." I said with a red face that it looked like it would explode.

He laughed and kissed my cheek.

"Alright. I’ll wait, Hyung. But I won’t sit next to that thing." He said, pointing at Lily on the couch.

’What’s wrong with sitting with Lily?’ I thought and almost spilled it out of my mouth but shook it off and said, "That’s fine. You can sit here."

There was a stool next to the area I used as a dining area. Honestly, there was no table. Just a pure white slab with stools around it.

I imagined it was used as a dining since it had stools and was so close to the kitchen. I let Seojin sit there while I cleaned up the car feed I had poured on the ground.

Seojun had his eyes on me for a while and then looked away, scanning my apartment.

It was not that much different from theirs. The color, the layout, and the number of rooms were the same.

"Hyung, don’t you get scared of staying here alone?" Seojun suddenly asked and I raised my head.

"But I’m not alone, though." I said and smiled. "I have Lily with me."

But that response seemed to displease him as he frowned once more.

Gosh, that frown was so hilarious. How could his lips curl down so much? It... It... I walked up to him and kissed him lightly on his lips.

It was more like a peck and once I pulled away, I smiled at him.

I didn’t know why he asked that but I was glad he was being considerate.

"There, there, don’t sulk." I said and he caught my wrist.

"Hyung, you look pretty." He said and my eyebrows furrowed. Where did that come from?

And how could he call me pretty? I still couldn’t get it. Or was I just the only one not seeing what they were seeing?

No, my eyes were working fine. Their standard of pretty must be extremely low compared to mine.

"Well, thank you for the compliment." I said. ’Even if you’re just saying it to please me. I appreciate it.’

He let go of my wrist and I cleared up the mess.

"There!" I said as I dusted my hands together. "I think I’m done."

"Then Hyung, should we head back now?" Seojun asked and I nodded.

I glanced at Lily on the couch. I already set out the food she would eat right away, and just in case I spent the whole morning with the twins, I set the automatic feeder to feed her when it was time for dinner and lunch.

’By doing this, I’m not neglecting her, am I?’ I thought, feeling a bit guilty. ’I hope she doesn’t get lonely. Let me ask Geumtae about that.’

I decided to text Geumtae and ask if Lily would feel lonely in my absence, but he responded positively, after showering me with heart stickers, of course.

"Lily was once a stray cat. So even if you leave her for a whole week, she won’t feel it. But for the sake of her comfort and to make sure nothing is wrong with her, you need to check up on her, make sure she’s not weak."

And to which I responded.

"She’s perfectly healthy right now and still acts like a queen."

"Then that’s alright. She prefers being alone than hanging out with you much." He replied and I felt a stab in my heart.

True facts hurt a lot.

"Alright, thanks."

"So, what are you up to? Does working as a photographer take up your time that much?" He asked. "It’s a Sunday."

"I’m not working." I texted back and looked at Seojin who was approaching with his pink apron on. "I’m at a friend’s place."

Geumtae must’ve been surprised because he sent a sticker that very much looked surprised. And then, he sent one that looked at me in suspicion.

Haha, he was definitely suspecting me for a friendless person.

’Did I look like a loner that much? How did he figure out I didn’t have friends?’ I wondered, staring at the sticker.

"Hyung, who are you texting?" Seojin asked, sitting next to me and I answered,

"A friend."

For a moment, Seojin looked at me like he did not believe me but then smiled and said,

"Okay."

’Ah, he doesn’t believe me either.’

*Ding*

I got another sticker from Geumtae and its structure made me laugh.

"This friend of yours seems to be a joker, seeing you’re laughing like that." Seojin said, still keeping his smile up and I pursed my lips.

’I have a feeling things won’t end well if he finds out it’s Geumtae.’ I thought and placed down my phone. "So, what’s for dinner?"

Seojin looked at me for a while, waiting to see if I would say anything else, and I waited for his response, hoping he did not ask based on his suspicion, and thankfully, he didn’t.

"Pasta." He answered and got up. "Come, let’s eat."
