"Wait, wait. Miss Sealyn… isn't this a bit too much work for me?" Rain asked.

"Why are you calling me miss?" Sealyn frowned. "You have already proved your strength by defending one side by yourself and killing most of the enemies that we faced until now. I would do that in your place if I had the means and the conditions to do so."

She indeed truly would do… at least Sealyn was being reasonable and let someone else do the hard job. The issue is that someone was her father, and the danger of the job was quite high, and it would become harder the more he unlocks paths with the power of the sins.

"Why are you so against it?" Terra asked. "We can tell that you are becoming stronger every time you unlock a new path since they come at the max level."

"You can tell even that, huh?" Rain asked.

"Yep, whenever you get a new one of those paths, you start to emit an aura of danger, like of someone we need to defeat," Seara said. "Still, since it is you, we know that we don't have to worry too much."

It was good that they had too much faith in Rain, but he was starting to get overwhelmed by such a level of faithfulness. Again, Rain couldn't feel that aura, and he couldn't tell if he had truly become that strong. The numbers were there, but…

"Yep, I don't feel that stronger…" Rain said. "I guess I need achievements instead of numbers to confirm that. Once I am able to attack the enemies with meteors, then I will be on the same level as the dragon god one hundred years ago… that should be a good measurement for now."

"It will be hard to summon meteors when there is a barrier above us," Elisabetha said.

"Maybe I should try the inverse and fire meteors from below to the barrier in order to break it," Rain said. "That being said, I should avoid doing that for now and just keep analyzing the powers of the enemies and getting those maxed-out paths. After defeating three hundred of those lords, I should be able to break this barrier."

Rain was worried about the others in the other zones, but worrying only wouldn't change a thing… he had to do his best whenever possible in order to reach the best outcomes possible in all situations. That was the only thing he could do to avoid getting depressed if something bad happened.

In the end, Rain silently accepted those jobs. Sealyn was someone reasonable, and she would have given the job to someone else if they were in Rain's position, so there was no point in worrying too much about it.

Individuals with great power have the ability to influence or affect the lives of others, whether it's in a personal, social, or political context. While Rain was preparing to use the Doppelgangers to watch the enemies, he went a bit existential and couldn't help but wonder. Even now, he didn't know why he had been reincarnated in the future… His best guess was that he had to change the future and make things go back to normal or at least free Earth from the clutches of those who destroyed the previous human race.

"Hmm, I only want to make sure that my family will suffer the least as possible," Rain thought when he summoned the doppelgangers. "After so many failures, it feels preposterous to think that I can achieve anything more than that.

Well, even if I fail, as long as my death paves the path for my kids and their kids, I would say that my life had plenty of meaning… I can't ask for anything more than I already have or had at this point in time."

In any case, Rain made the Doppelgangers move in the four directions while moving like shadows close to the ground. At the same time, they were using the water mirror technique, but it was hard to know if that would be enough. One doppelganger could use a domain, but not four of them.

On another mountain, the arcanists had established their domain within a network of intricate caves. These caves, hidden within the rocky mountain, provided the arcanists with a natural and formidable fortress. The entrance to their mystical dwelling was well-concealed, making it difficult for intruders to locate and breach their sanctuary.

In stark contrast, the dark trolls inhabited a valley nestled between rugged peaks. Small huts made from natural materials dotted the landscape, forming a rustic village at the heart of the valley. The trolls seemed to embrace their connection to the earth, living in harmony with their natural surroundings.
