Anna was silent for a while.

She didn’t have any relatives to care about because those people who could be called family by her were either not close or had long severed their relationship with her. Whether Mr. Williams and his wife were doing well or not, Anna honestly didn’t care.

From the moment he chose to kick her out of the house for the sake of his illegitimate children and second wife, Anna didn’t want to treat him as father.

She had long known that Betty and Brian were her two half siblings.

Anna was interested in the base because of its safety but at the same time, she was a bit worried about her own secret.

"Wouldn’t it be better for you to go now?" Anna asked.

"It’s already late. If I go now, I’ll only reach that place at night." Dylan shrugged. "I can’t possibly let my grandfather travel in the middle of the night, can I?"

"Yes." Dylan nodded. "I’ll ask about the situation outside from Mark and Lucy after they come back later."

Dylan sneered. "What, do you think that your small body can survive on your own? Oh, I don’t you see how capable you are at finding food."

"Meow!" Kitty raised her chin up as if saying that it was easy.

"Heh, you only know how to talk."

Anna laughed at these two’s conversation. She rubbed Kitty’s head and back to calm the cat down. Looking at Dylan not far from her, there was a faint smile on her face. "Are you saying that Kitty can’t hunt on his own?"

"What hunt will this cat do?" Dylan shook his head. "Kitty is not a wild cat. He only knows how to wait for food to be delivered to his bowl."

"Meow!!!"

"What, am I wrong?"

"He’s saying that he can also act cute," Anna said from the side with a laugh.

Kitty rubbed Anna’s palm happily as if responding to Anna’s words. "Meow~."

"Would act cute be useful?" Dylan snorted.
