Chapter 326: 326. Davis Family (3)
When they all decided to come to this official base, they had decided to work hard and made sure that their family would not fall apart.
He had been doing well.
No one denied his authority and let him be the head. They obeyed his order and arrangement so that they would be able to stay in the family and worked hard to contribute. Everyone wanted to live a better life and they couldn’t deny that he had the best ability.
Within few weeks, they were able to live a relatively stable life.
What they wanted later on was to have the riches they have like they used to be. But it would take one step at a time.
Without them being able to complain to him, they still listened to him. Because his plan and arrangement had let them get better and better.
Within few months, things were getting very well.
The five families who lead the base were all doing very well. They were able to take care of their family and their family members could stay wherever they wanted in the base. It was already the best situation.
Even if the temperature was annoying and hindered them greatly, but it didn’t stop them in the slightest bit.
But then everything changed.
The temperature drop caught them off guard, but they all worked together to deal with it. Preparing more clothes and so son, they were all able to do everything very well and thus proceeded to have a much better life.
Then, the fever started.
That was when everything changed.
The appearance of the awakened people changed everything.
They all thought that the animal mutation was all that would happen, but the awakening of people meant that their entire life and future would be different.
How would they play their role in the future?
With more and more people awakening their ability and started to train it, it could be seen that the future would never be the same. The few people in the Davis Family who were originally obedient started to make their moves.
And if others were not satisfied with them, they could attack with their abilities.
As long as it was not in public and still within their compound, no one will know that they were fighting or sparring against each other.
There was no rule that prohibited this.
Mr. Davis could feel that the burden on his shoulder was getting bigger and bigger. His cousins were awakening naturally and their children also followed suit. His daughter was also the same, but her temperament made it impossible for her to practice her ability a lot.
It was something that Mr. Davis also knew very well.
He knew his daughter has never been someone to work hard. And because he loved her, he pampered her and let her live in accordance to what she wanted. Be free and unrestrained.
Because he used to believe that he could protect her.
But now, he fell into doubt.
There were many people who wanted this seat under him and once he lost it, he was sure that his life wouldn’t be going well at all.
He worked hard to feed those people.
And they were all white eyed wolf.
Mr. Davis’s eyes flashed with cruelty.
In that case, don’t blame him for dealing with them first.
...
Mr. Davis’s cousin went home and saw his daughter was busy counting the supplies and then took it all back.
Yes, his daughter’s ability is space ability.
A very convenient ability but didn’t have many offensive capabilities.
"Father, you’re back." Brenda nodded at her father. She crossed her arms. "So, what did that Mr. Davis said about this matter?"
"He will deal with his daughter appropriately," Mr. Davis’s cousin replied. "You know that he wouldn’t really do anything to his daughter aside from grounding her and gave compensation to the others."
Brenda shrugged. "It’s better than nothing."
Considering Mr. Davis’s personality, it would be impossible for him to truly side with them and sacrificed his daughter. He had cared for her for so many years and let her live unrestrainedly by his side.
Would he be willing to see her in pain?
That would be highly impossible.
So Brenda didn’t have much expectation. As long as Mr. Davis was no longer as annoying as he used to be and this Tasha didn’t bother with her, then she also wouldn’t care too much about her.
"Yes." Mr. Davis’s cousin nodded. He looked at his daughter and then asked, "What do you plan to do now?"
"Now?" Brenda tilted her head and then took out her phone. There was a note that was put in a secret folder and pinned at the top by her. "I just want to make sure that I was able to make none of these things happened."
Mr. Davis’s cousin looked at his daughter and sighed.
He knew that there was a note containing things that happened in the future in his daughter’s phone. She refused to tell him where she got it or whether she wrote it herself.
But from what he knew, the things written there was quite credible.
It was just that because of their action and also the action of those from Mason Family, things have already changed. Some things inside were no longer as accurate as before anymore.
They were only used as reference now.
And neither one of them could predict what that person in the Mason Family would do in the future. Whether there would be clash or not.
"Well, the world didn’t need two people who know the future." Brenda closed the note and then looked at her father. "It seems we have to hasten the preparation so that we’ll be ready before that happened."
"It has already snowed." Mr. Davis’s cousin pointed at the window. "So it will happen soon."
"Mhm." Brenda looked outside.
Even if the human’s aspect no longer exactly the same as that note, but the nature was still following the same timeline as it was in the note written. For this matter, it was still very accurate.
