Chapter 287. Materials
Chapter 287: 287. Materials
It took the two of them a few hours to finish everything.
"It wouldn’t be so easy to put the things later. Do you want to only do it with two people?" Anna asked.
"I plan to ask for Mark and Lucy’s help," Dylan replied. "But in that way, we might need to tell them about your ability."
"It’s fine, I don’t plan to hide it from those two," Anna said.
The main reason why she hid her space before was because she was worried that because she was so different, other people would want to take advantage of her. After all, an ordinary person who have space whom no one else have...
It was hard to think that there wouldn’t be people who wanted to take advantage of her.
And if Anna were to tell Mark and Lucy, she would use her ability very often. It was hard to guarantee that there wouldn’t be anyone who saw what she did.
Now that there were already many people who awakened, Anna didn’t have much qualm exposing it.
"Alright." Dylan nodded. "The other few that I might want to invite are his team members and also my few friends. But I don’t know what do you think?"
Mark and Lucy’s team member were Lidia and Alan. Anna honestly didn’t know much about the two of them and considering that they were part of the military, they might end up reporting her ability.
As for Dylan’s friend, it would be Nathan and Teri. They had worked together once, but Anna didn’t know much about them either.
"Perhaps we’ll call Mark and Lucy first before asking for the others after already putting the things on the hill?" Anna asked carefully.
Dylan looked at Anna and then nodded. "It’s fine. We’ll ask for their help tomorrow and then the others the day afterwards if you think it’s suitable."
"Okay." Anna smiled brightly.
"Meow!" I’ll also come!
Kitty couldn’t help but meowed to show his presence. He had the feeling that around Anna and Dylan, his sense of presence was extremely low and there were not many people who could even remember his existence.
Kitty felt tired when he thought about it.
He was nothing more than a big light bulb in front of Dylan and Anna and there was nothing that he could do to change this status quo.
"Okay, okay, you will also come." Dylan looked at the cat from the mirror speechlessly. He started to think about letting Kitty stay with Mark and Lucy for at least one day. At the very least, this would let him able to have some private time with Anna.
It seemed that he would have to implement this matter tomorrow.
If not, he didn’t know how long he would be able to handle it.
Anna chuckled lightly. "Are we going back directly?"
"I’m planning to talk about the material for tomorrow. Do you want to come along?" Dylan asked back.
"It doesn’t matter for me. I’ll just stay with you, then."
"Ok."
There was no problem on the road, so they were able to return to the base safely. The discussion that Dylan meant was just with the guard and personnel in the mission hall. There were people there who would manage a large amount of materials’ trade and all.
The base itself didn’t really need the contribution point from Dylan.
But Dylan did have a lot of contribution points and what he requested was not that difficult from the base. They themselves have a lot of materials left from the previous building of the base.
Thus, it was easy for them to fulfill the other’s request this time.
"There are not many people who want to buy building materials now," Dylan commented after he was done.
"The apartments are rented. What are they going to do with these materials?" Anna asked back.
Well, that was true.
Dylan thought for a moment and then looked at Anna. "Sister Anna, are you going to move to my apartment tonight?"
Move to Dylan’s apartment?
Anna’s cheek reddened when she thought about what they might do later. The original plan was to move directly on the day they received their certificate. But because there were so many things that happened that day, plus they were tired and Anna hadn’t told Dylan about her space, Anna stayed in her own apartment.
The end result was that she accidentally awakened her ability after trying to push that door in her mind.
So this matter has been delayed.
Speaking of the door, Anna had tried to check her mind again, but she didn’t see anything like the door before.
She didn’t know whether she would see this kind of door again in the future or not. After all, the door itself was illusory and it was not something that Anna herself could explain clearly.
She only knew that it existed in her mind.
But what it actually represented was something that Anna herself didn’t know. There was no one whom she could ask for confirmation or whatever.
But in her own conjecture, she felt that there were two possibilities.
The door was the door between one ranks to another. Or between one specific level to another that represented some big improvement. After all, after the door was opened, Anna could feel that she was able to sense the power inside her body that she had never sensed in her entire life before.
The other possibility was that this was the door that opened their ability and would only appear once in their entire life. It meant that most other people would never see this kind of door and would open them automatically when they reached the requirement.
After all, Anna didn’t feel any difficulties at all when she had reached the door back then.
Only a light push and it was opened.
Perhaps, it was because of her high mental strength that she was able to see it while other people would just directly open their door in their mind.
