Chapter 230. Dylan’s Plan
Chapter 230: 230. Dylan’s Plan
"He’s a businessman, so it’s not that strange for him to get out to find a way to get rich," Lucas replied.
"No, it’s not that he wants to get rich. It’s because he can’t stand seeing the chance in front of him go away," Anna refuted.
She knew Dylan well.
Even if Dylan had some ambitions, he was more grounded. Except for the time when he purposely tried to find a chance to earn money or business, he would only use the available chance that was put in front of him.
Extreme pursuit to get rich quickly would only make them very tired. After all, they were forcing their body to keep on moving to reach their goal.
"You know him well." Lucas looked at Anna thoughtfully while his hand was still moving the barrels to the counter.
"I have known him for years, how could I not know this much?" Anna replied back with a smile. "Okay, the last barrel."
"Good."
Lucas put the last barrel on the counter and wiped his sweat. "You better give me enough contribution points. It’s really heavy!"
Anna laughed and transferred 50 contribution points to Lucas.
Seeing the amount, Lucas clicked his tongue. "You must have earned a lot of contribution points to spend so lavishly just for some physical work."
"Yeah, they also contacted me and will give me reward if I tell them the location of the source," Anna replied calmly.
Lucas: "..."
He had the faint feeling that Anna would be able to get rich very quickly even if she only worked occasionally.
Who said that this woman was not suitable for business?
Even if she only moved her hand occasionally and didn’t take many chances or working hard every single time, she was still able to earn a lot.
Thinking about his meagre salary, Lucas felt his heart hurt.
But his salary was stable and there were also many other benefit, so he immediately felt better.
Anna naturally responded with the location of the factory, but she told them honestly that the rest of the unprocessed oils are underground and the machines might not work well. She didn’t know how the machine work and what she had was the oils that was on the ground.
They quickly replied that they would verify this news and then give her the value for her information.
After that, Anna withdraw from the chat and walked out of the mission hall. She saw Dylan came with another team. He was talking to them about something and the man used his phone to transfer contribution point to Dylan.
Dylan nodded in satisfaction and turned, seeing Anna and Lucas came out of the exchange hall.
His eyebrows arched. "Sister Anna, did you go out with Lucas?"
Lucas heard Dylan’s words and somehow felt a faint hostility coming from this young man. He looked at Anna beside him and then at Dylan before the corner of his lips curled up slightly.
As a man, he naturally could guess what Dylan was thinking.
And it seemed that their relationship was not at that point yet.
"No, I met him in the mission hall and borrowed his help to take out the things from the car. They’re very heavy and it’s too much work to do alone," Anna replied.
"Oh." Dylan nodded in satisfaction. "Why did you not ask me for help, Sister Anna? I’m also very strong."
"I don’t see you just now," Anna replied helplessly.
Dylan clicked his tongue and looked at the team behind him. If they were a bit faster, he might be able to bump to Anna who came to the mission hall. What a pity they were too slow.
He glanced at Lucas and then looked at Anna again. "Are you done? Shall we go back now?"
"I’m done." Anna nodded. "Let’s go back."
"Ok."
Dylan pointed at his truck. "Use the truck to the parking lot and then we’ll walk back."
"Ok."
They bid farewell to Lucas, who was standing at the side, watching with amusement. He felt that Dylan was indeed still very young and couldn’t hide what he thought and felt on his face.
Eh wait, that was wrong.
In the face of his business partner, Dylan was able to control his expression well and lead the negotiation. But in front of Anna, Dylan was not able to control his expression in the slightest bit.
It was a bit funny.
Lucas really wanted to tease Dylan more, but seeing that his work still piled up...
Forget it.
While Lucas continued to work, Dylan and Anna went back to their apartment. On their way, Dylan told Anna that he was loaning his truck for other to use. Naturally, he would not pay for the fuel. If they wanted him to pay for the fuel, they would need to pay 10 times.
At the same time, he would also go accompany them and verify the news first.
"Isn’t it dangerous?" Anna asked with a frown.
If they wanted to steal the truck from Dylan, it would be easy for them to hit him directly.
"My task is to drive the truck and didn’t go out at all. If they dared to have some thoughts they shouldn’t’ have, my guns are ready," Dylan replied. "It might be a bit dangerous, but it’s nothing much."
"Don’t be so blindly confident!" Anna poked Dylan’s forehead. "What if something happened to you? You should make sure that the team you cooperate with is trusted or have certain credibility."
Dylan looked at Anna helplessly but his heart felt warm. He could hear Anna’s concern for him through her words.
"I know. I always be careful and only cooperated with the team that had high credibility or people whom I know," Dylan replied again.
Anna frowned. "It’s still not very reliable."
"I’ll be fine." Dylan looked at Anna and then added, "Well, if you’re not convinced, I can stop doing this."
"No, don’t let my opinion disturb your decision," Anna refuted immediately. "If you really want to, you can continue. It’s your freedom."
