Chapter 199. Walking Together
Chapter 199: 199. Walking Together
"The medicine will be divided equally."
"Well, even if you say that they’re medicine, most of them are vitamins. Look, this is vitamin A, this is vitamin D tablets, and this is vitamin B12 tablets." Mark shook his head when he saw the name of the bottles.
Dylan also looked at it and shook his head helplessly. "What can you expect. The stores in the mall usually didn’t really sell medicines and only the generic ones. Aside from the medicine, they will sell supplement and medicines."
"Indeed."
Some bottles were the same and there were also tablets, which they sorted out in accordance to the types. When they saw the medical box that Anna pulled, they were a bit surprised.
"Tsk, so there’s still this box that’s being kept safe." Dylan laughed when he saw the content of the box. "Can I take this thing?"
"Sure." Mark looked at it and nodded.
After he entered the military, he should be able to get some other supplies, so he would focus on other things.
Anna slowly took out the medicines from her bags while looking at their name. When she picked them all up back then, she didn’t really pay attention to their names and only put them inside to be carried away.
Now that she was looking at them one by one, she suddenly felt that adding the medicine that Old Master Daniels needed did seem a bit odd.
That medicine was not exactly a generic one.
Uh...
Anna sighed in her heart, but she still took the medicine out.
When Dylan saw the name of the medicine, his pupil constricted. He definitely recognized this medicine. "I’ll take this stack of medicines."
"That’s for your grandfather?" Mark guessed when he read the name of the medicines.
"Yeah."
"Good for you there’s still enough medicine for your grandfather. It’s hard to find medicine these days," Mark said happily.
Dylan showed a smile but his heart was turbulent.
To be honest, he was no longer worried about his grandfather because his uncle had prepared more than a year of stock for medicine. It was to the point that Old Master Daniels was impressed.
After all, there were many people who were sick back then and to prepare for their situation, the military packed a lot of medicines. His uncle also prepared a lot of medicines for his grandfather.
Because of this, Dylan didn’t have much thought about finding more medicine for his grandfather.
But looking at this stack in front of him...
From this box alone, he could guess that there was enough medicine for at least half a year or even a year.
He had never thought that his luck would be this good.
Or...
Dylan looked in Anna’s direction and had the faint feeling that it was what Anna prepared. He remembered that Anna asked his grandfather about what medicine he needed back then.
But there was no evidence for it.
And Dylan also didn’t know how Anna could do it.
They sorted the medicine and Lucy soon joined. After taking some medicine and some common medicines for themselves, they packed the rest and put them in the boxes, ready to be brought to the base.
This time, it was Dylan and Anna who went there because Mark and Lucy wanted to filter the fuel. Dylan wanted to deliver the medicine to his grandfather too while Anna wanted to get out of the city to take some soil and water to prepare for her planting.
So the two of them go together.
"It’ll be lunch time soon. Do you want to eat together?" Dylan asked as he wiped his sweat. Working in such a hot day was really tiring. He had been drinking a lot of water and had to use more contribution points to drink more.
Though, he didn’t really feel bad for his contribution points. He had more than 10,000 so deducting one or two points are nothing.
Anna also drank a lot, but the water was mostly coming from her space. She was too lazy to go and pay for the water, so she directly filled her water with the water from the space.
It was also very cool and not hot.
"Sure..." Anna sighed and then looked at the building in front of them that was being decorated. "There’s still decorating company?"
"Fool." Dylan laughed. "This place is rented and probably will be used as a restaurant."
"Huh? Restaurant?" Anna was surprised. "There are still restaurants in this place?"
With the food lacking everywhere, there are still people who dared to build a restaurant here?
Are they not worried about going bankrupt first?
"If they have enough support from the rich people, they can earn back the investments with enough time," Dylan replied. "Not everyone can only do the worst work that only give you one or two points a day. If you have skills, you can earn more and then used this saving to eat better food. Who didn’t want to eat better food if they could?"
Anna thought about her own cooking that still has extremely low skill and smiled with embarrassment.
She was learning under Dylan, but this learning was on and off. The result was naturally her craft was still not very good. At most, it could only be said to be edible and could barely satisfy one’s taste buds.
But if Anna had to eat those all day long, it was indeed quite painful.
Thus, she also liked to eat in the restaurants in the past. In order to save money, she couldn’t go there very often, but occasionally was also good.
It could soothe her tongue.
Though, Anna had never really suffered before being kicked out by the Williams Family. It was just her planning for her future back then when she hadn’t met with Dylan and this incident hadn’t happened.
"Your cooking is so good that you wouldn’t need it," Anna praised.
"I’m glad you like it." Dylan’s lips curled up to form a smile.
