I'm the Villainess in the Apocalypse
Chapter 195. Negotiation

Chapter 195: 195. Negotiation

Lucas looked at his cousin helplessly and shook his head. "Come on, let’s go to the mission hall and then you can trade your things first. I’ll discuss about this with you."

"Lucy, you can put these resources into the trade hall with Mark. I’ll discuss with Lucas," Dylan said.

"Got it." Lucy nodded and then added, "Don’t forget to ask for more things from him. You can threaten him if you want to."

Lucas: "..." are you my cousin or not?

He felt that this cousin of his really liked to demolish his platform.

She was even siding with others and not him!

Hmph!

Mark laughed at their interaction. He knew that in terms of negotiation, it would be better to leave it to Dylan because he was basically the one with the best talking skills. Well, as a person who was planning to build a company under his own name, how could his skills not be good?

"I’ll only exchange the raw materials, right?" Mark suddenly asked.

"Yes. Only that for now," Dylan replied. "We’ll discuss the distribution for the rest later."

"Got it."

The only reason why they picked the raw materials from the factory was because they wanted to exchange it. As for the medicines and pet supplies, they would use some of them and the rest would be exchanged.

But before they confirmed the distribution between themselves, they wouldn’t trade them.

They went to the mission hall and their cars were parked outside. With Lucas saying hello first, there was no need for them to pay for the 1 contribution point to park temporarily.

Lucy and Mark unloaded the raw materials, which Mark would exchange while Lucy waited outside.

Anna followed Dylan to the private room with Lucas.

These were the so called negotiation rooms that they had prepared. Originally, Anna’s first negotiation back then should also be conducted here. But because Lucas has other things to do and the base was a bit understaffed, the negotiation moved to Lucy’s apartment.

"Please take a seat," Lucas said as he also took a seat.

Dylan nodded and sat down with Anna sat beside him. "I don’t know why they sent you when they know that you’re not the type of person to do negotiation?"

"It’s because Lucy is my family members and you will most likely trust me more," Lucas replied helplessly. "He said that you should understand me if I said this."

Dylan narrowed his eyes.

He knew very clearly that this meant they wanted to win him over and hoped that he would stay in the base like his grandfather and uncle. This was why they would give him a relatively favorable condition.

As the child of a businessman and used to aspire to be one, how could he not be clear about this?

The problem was, he didn’t have much value to the base.

But perhaps, the main reason was not because of him but rather because of his family members. His uncle had a high position in the base and naturally wished that his nephew would stay here.

From one side, it would make it easier for his uncle to protect him.

And from the other side, it would also make it easier for him to be watched by others who were also watching his uncle.

The corner of Dylan’s lips curled up slightly.

These kind of scheming was very clear in his eyes, but he didn’t mind at all. Because he knew very well that he didn’t have much power in his hands and for him, it has more advantages for him to follow what they wanted.

He just had to control the degree.

"You can tell him that I understand and as long as it’s good and there’s nothing that crossed the line, I’ll not mind," Dylan replied.

Lucas nodded, not understanding what Dylan meant.

Anna, who was sitting beside Dylan, also had the look of confusion. She didn’t understand so much things like Dylan just now.

Dylan gave Anna a soothing look. "Now, shall we discuss about the gas station matters?"

"Yes." Lucas nodded. "The fuel leaked out from the fuel tank inside and the pressure cause it to burst out. It’ll take a lot of manpower to excavate it, which we can’t do right now, but the fuel on the surface is a lot. The base decided to give you 20% of the total amount of the contribution points for the weight of the fuel for the information you gave out."

The base had to exert their own manpower and then filter the fuel before they could use it. It would take a lot of their own resources, so they definitely couldn’t give so many contribution points to Dylan and the others.

And the four of them would definitely split the contribution points together, but even then, it would definitely be in thousands.

When they reached the place back then, it was already a small lake.

It would definitely earn the base a lot of fuel.

So even if it was 20%, it would be a lot.

"You’re really generous," Dylan said. He thought that the base would give him between 10% to 15%, which was normal in his opinion. But they instead gave him 20%, which was more than his expectation.

Lucas shrugged. "That’s what they told me to say."

He was definitely not the one in charge for this, but these people were busy with other things. Anyway, with Lucas being Lucy’s cousin, there was nothing wrong with sending him here.

It was just that Lucas inexplicably felt that he had become the messenger between the base and Dylan.

*sigh*

He just wanted to be a proper soldier, but he ended up with this unique position.

"While a lot of contribution points are tempting, but I don’t think I’ll need so many contribution points," Dylan said slowly.

Lucas looked at Dylan and then asked, "What do you want?"

"I need weapon, is it possible to change it to 10% and some weapons plus what the other three wants," Dylan asked.
