Chapter 194. Plan for Tomorrow
Chapter 194: 194. Plan for Tomorrow
Nathan was one year older but stayed behind at school because his attendance was not enough. When he was preparing the company on the second year, he was delayed in the study and his parents let him stay for another year to supplement the study.
That way, he and Nathan become classmates.
But the two of them already knew each other because they were living in the same compound, so there were no differences for Dylan.
It just added more friends he could talk with at school.
"Who else will go?" Lucy asked.
"One of his friend who jointly open the company," Dylan replied. "If I’m not wrong, his name is Teri."
"That fatty Teri?" Mark was stunned. "I didn’t expect he would also start a company so soon."
"Yeah," Dylan replied helplessly.
It could be said that because they all lived in the same rich compound back then, they still knew each other because of various reasons. Even if there were already internet available, their parents still kicked them out of the house and didn’t let them browse their phones all day long.
Thus, these children who were all kicked out by their parents, all jointly play together in various places.
Teri and Nathan were two of the few that Dylan and Mark knew. They were not very close, but if Anna and Lucy were nowhere to be seen, they could still play various games together.
After all, there was no limit on how many friends one could make.
Adding another one wouldn’t hurt.
They hadn’t contacted each other for a long time, but Dylan received message from Nathan yesterday. Since his travel for today has been planned, he only told Nathan that he would consider it after discussing with the others.
Nathan agreed, but he hoped that Dylan could make a decision quickly because there might be people who come to check later.
Malls are definitely the first place to be searched.
But later on, other buildings would definitely be searched too. Nathan didn’t want his supplies to be taken by others.
"In that case, let’s agree to go tomorrow," Anna replied.
She still remembered those two and felt rather funny. Nathan and Teri looked very different from each other. Nathan has slender and rather tall body while Teri was shorter and was a bit chubby. The two people who looked very different were actually close friends with each other.
However, Anna was not close to either of these two.
Her close friend is Lucy and there were a few other girls who had good relationship with her. Though, after her breakup with the Williams’ Family, these so called girls who have good relationship with her had never contacted her again.
They didn’t even send any formality message to ask if she was okay.
Anna sighed deeply when she thought about this.
The few people whom she thought are her friends were actually only treating her as friends because of her background. Even if many people were doing the same way in this world, but it still felt rather painful when you realized their faces.
It was just that Anna chose not to care about this and didn’t think much.
Because she still has three people who didn’t abandon her and still took her side despite everything.
As one said, one would show their true faces when you’re in a difficult time.
True friends stick with you.
Ordinary friends would stay away from you to avoid being pulled in.
Their action would be understandable, but they were not worthy to become close friends. Because you knew that if that if you’re in trouble, they would never help you out.
"I agree," Lucy said and grinned. "I also want to see how Fatty Teri looked like now. Is he still fat or not?"
"Why do you think he’s not fat?"
"Starvation?"
Anna: "..." It sounds reasonable.
Mark laughed. "That’s not possible. Teri always brought a large amount of snacks no matter where he is. So I’m sure that he’s still fat as usual."
Dylan nodded in agreement.
The two of them knew Teri’s habit very well. This man liked to eat snacks and always eat more portions than the others. Thus, whenever he stayed in a certain place, one of his suitcase will be filled with food.
Nothing else but food would do for him.
"Anyway, since we have agreed, what do we plan to bring tomorrow?"
"Flashlight is a definite. There’s no way I’m going to the building in dark..."
They started their discussion about tomorrow’s journey, filled with laughter and smiles. Their encounter not long ago was being thrown far away from their mind as they didn’t have any time to care about it anymore.
Thankfully, the rest of their journey was smooth.
They also had already contacted the base about the gas station, so that when they returned, they were greeted by Lucas.
"Why are you here again?" Lucy looked at her cousin with her face scrunched.
Lucas looked at Lucy helplessly. "It’s not like I want to come here, but I’m ordered to come here. We have sent people to the location you told us about and it’s said that the amount of resources is a lot. Since you’re the one giving the information, we’ll give you contribution points for it. For the specific, please follow me."
"We want to exchange some resources for contribution points first," Dylan replied as he pointed at the truck behind them. They were still in the cars and had only entered the base when they were stopped.
"Don’t worry, we’ll do our discussion in the trade center," Lucas replied. "I can help you to exchange too if you want and trust me."
"No, I don’t trust you, Cousin!" Lucy yelled from the back.
"Why not?"
"Because you will definitely try to lower the price!"
Lucas: "..." am I that kind of person?
Thinking about the time when he tried to prank his cousin in the past... it seems that Lucy had reasonable grounds to throw this accusation.
*cough*
