Chapter 171: 171. Vet

Dylan and Anna headed to the mission hall first.

As they stopped, a uniformed man came to them and Dylan explained the reason. The uniformed man nodded and said, "You need to pay 1 contribution point there."

"Ok."

1 contribution point is nothing compared to the goods they were planning to exchange.

The two of them then worked to unload the boxes and then waited for Mark and Lucy to come. They split the boxes into equal number and then exchanged them for contribution points.

Looking at the number of points that was rising by more than 1000, Anna sighed deeply.

Tea business is pretty good.

Should they go and target other offices?

If they could still get a lot of tea boxes, Anna felt that these points were also pretty good.

It seemed that they could consider it.

"Can you unload the snacks first in your apartment?" Dylan handed the key to Mark after they were done exchanging the tea boxes.

"Sure, but what do you want to do?"

"Interviewing the vet to check Kitty," Dylan replied as he pointed to the mission hall. The mission hall itself was separated to several booths and there was also the screen where they could check the missions list and so on.

For the missions posted by others and guaranteed by the mission hall, there was a separate booth at the side.

"You need to interview first?" Lucy was dumbfounded.

"I can’t let just anyone to come and claim they’re first rate vet." Dylan shrugged.

First rate vet?

Are you talking about artist?

Lucy complained inside her mind and then waved her hand. "I’m going back with Mark first. Good luck finding a good vet."

"Yeah."

Anna looked at them and then said, "I’ll stay with Dylan."

"You don’t want to go back first?"

"Well, it’s fine, I didn’t help much before, so I’m not tired," Anna replied. Her task in the first two places were only to wait and guard the truck and car. The others were busy moving the items while she was resting.

How could she be tired?

Dylan nodded in understanding and then led Anna to the booth at the left edge.

The receptionist nodded when she saw Dylan. "Mr. Dylan? There are several applicants and based on your request, you can take a look at their resume first."

"Thank you."

When they post the missions, they could ask the mission hall to put the requirement. Some of them were first come first serve, which was common for mission that didn’t have much requirement for skills. For example, they just need to be adults, male, or female, and so on.

But for vet, Dylan didn’t quite trust it.

He looked at the list and then looked at one of them. "Just this one."

"Alright, I’ll call Dr. Rovan and let him come to your residence." The receptionist looked at the name of the man Dylan picked.

"Dr. Rovan? The doctor who used to take care Kitty?" Anna was a bit surprised when she heard it.

"Yep." Dylan hummed. He didn’t expect that Dr. Rovan was also in this base. If he knew, he would have contacted Dr. Rovan first.

Since Kitty has been staying with Dylan for a long time, there were also time when they needed to see a vet because of some issues. Naturally, there were many vets interviewed by his grandfather back then.

In the end, Dr. Rovan was selected.

Ever since then, Dr. Rovan has become Kitty’s vet whenever he has troubles. But since Kitty rarely has any troubles, Dylan also rarely contacted the vet.

And Kitty was also left behind at Old Master Daniels’ house from time to time, so the one who contacted the vet often was the butler rather than Dylan.

"Since he’s here, we can also ask for more questions about Kitty. Kitty is no longer so young now." Anna thought about it and decided.

"Right."

The two of them walked to their apartment because the truck has been driven back by Mark and Lucy. Besides, there were still many items on the truck that had to be unloaded.

They had unloaded the furniture before but it was only put on their living room and hadn’t been cleaned.

Well, it seemed that they would be quite busy after going back.

When they reached the apartment, the truck was nowhere to be seen. Probably Mark or Lucy had driven it back or they were still on their way back after putting the truck in the parking lot.

"The parking lot is really far away," Anna commented. If it was before, they would just park their car beside their house and it was all done.

"The space has to be used to the fullest," Dylan said calmly.

"Are they worried about another flood?" Anna asked.

"Perhaps." Dylan shrugged.

"Hmmm."

The two of them went to Dylan’s apartment and there was already an old man who was waiting in front of Dylan’s apartment.

"Dr. Rovan," Dylan greeted with a smile. "It has been a while. I hope you’re doing well now."

"Well, it’s not that bad," Dr. Rovan replied. "There are not many people who needs vet now, but thankfully, I can still work in the medical field."

Humans and animals are different, but some technique was similar, so he could still find some works to do. However, it was not that easy for him.

"Is that so?"

"Yes, so when I found that there’s a mission to find a vet, I immediately apply. I didn’t expect it would be you, Young Master Dylan."

"Don’t call me so politely. My status is not the same as before." Dylan shook his head.

"It’s fine." Dr. Rovan smiled and looked at Anna. "This should be Miss Anna? You are still very beautiful."

"Thank you, Dr. Rovan." Anna shook Dr. Rovan’s hand.

They exchanged a few more flatteries as Dylan opened the lock to his apartment. "The room is still a bit messy, but please come inside."

"Sorry for intruding."
