Chapter 119: 119. Bath Water

They all talked a bit more about their arrangement for tomorrow.

After it was all done, Old Master Daniels kicked them all to sleep.

With their stomach full, their sleep tonight felt much more comfortable.

The next day, Anna woke up early.

She squirmed inside her sleeping bag, feeling at loss with the unfamiliar ceiling and unfamiliar bed before the memory of yesterday’s adventure came back.

"Oh, right, we’re now in the company’s building." Anna sat up and stretched her hand and body. It felt much more comfortable this way.

She stood up and took her cleaning supplies and went to the bathroom.

There was no water there, but she had her own water.

Soon, she finished taking a quick bath.

’Uh, how can I explain why I still have water?’ Anna thought about this problem as she finished her bath and moved her eyes to the rooftop. If she was not wrong, there should be a water tank on top of this building, right?

Most buildings have them, but it was usually only for apartment type of buildings. After all, they need to provide enough water to the people who are living inside.

Anna moved to the stairs and made her way to the rooftop.

Aunt Tiara had woken up and was currently busy in their makeshift kitchen. Dylan was talking with Butler Henry about their journey plan for the day. As for Doctor Mike, Anna was not entirely sure.

So, no one was looking for her.

Using this chance, Anna reached the rooftop and looked around her.

There were not many things here.

Her eyes lit up when she saw the stack of buckets on the edge. Looking at it, she knew that these were buckets used for paints. It seemed that there was a renovation done on the rooftop back then, which allowed these buckets to be here.

Anna took out the rainwater that she had collected and used it to wash these buckets.

The water came out from her fingertips.

Looking at the water, Anna had the faint feeling that she was living in a fantasy world where there were the five elements something awakened like those apocalypse stories. Even though her ability was actually not awakened, she looked like a water element awakened ability.

Anna shook her head to toss the thoughts away from her head.

If there were any awakened people in this world, then she hoped that she would be able to know more about them in the future.

But if there was none, then forget it.

She didn’t want any monsters or anything like that to appear in this world.

It would be terrifying.

After she had finished her thought construction, Anna filled these buckets with water and carried two to the stairs and went back to the eighth floor. She put these near the table and went back and forth to carry the rest of the buckets. There were a total of eight buckets there.

Once it was done, Anna made her way to the seventh floor and looked around the cabinets. There was a stack of soap there, which seemed to be the samples for their company.

She went to search her space to find the matching products from the same company.

A stack of soap appeared on her hand.

Coupled with the soap she found here, Anna made her way up and put these things on the table.

"Young Miss? Why does your hair get wet?" Aunt Tiara was surprised when she saw Anna’s appearance and felt a heartache.

"Ah... I took a bath, Aunt Tiara." Anna smiled sheepishly.

"A bath?" Dylan came in with his grandfather and was stunned. When there was still rain, they did take the rainwater for a bath, so it was not that strange. But after the rain stopped, the four of them back then hadn’t taken a bath again.

After all, it would be a waste to use the scarce water supplies for baths.

"I found these upstairs." Anna pointed at the buckets filled with water. "They’re clean enough but probably not for drinking, just for bathing."

They all looked at the piles of water buckets near Anna and their eyes lit up. If it was before this incident, they would never want to use the water with unknown sources like that. After all, they didn’t know what the water would contain.

As rich people, they were used to use the best.

Even if Aunt TIara and Butler Henry were only employees, their treatment was also very good. They also learned how to use the best when they used many things.

"Good. You brat, why don’t you go and search for something useful here!" Old Master Daniels nodded in satisfaction and then turned to scold his grandson.

Dylan was speechless.

He was discussing the plan to go just now, okay?

He was wronged, but Dylan could only sigh in front of his grandfather and accepted his fate. Because knew that no matter how much he complained and screamed injustice, his grandfather would not listen to him.

Anna chuckled. "Let me be the one to search for things. There might still be something on the seventh floor."

"Eat first before searching more." Dylan handed over a piece of bread to Anna. After staying with Anna for some time, he knew Anna’s appetite in the morning was really small. She could barely stuff something to fill her stomach just to ensure that she would not feel hungry.

Even if she asked for some food that was hard to eat, the amount she actually ate was very small.

"I’ll eat while searching." Anna smiled. "Oh right, I want to come with you when you go out later."

"It’s dangerous." Dylan frowned in disapproval.

"I can protect myself."

"Your physical strength is not enough to do much."

Anna pouted.

She really wanted to find a reason to go out and take out her supplies. Or should she just put the supplies in this building instead?

Anna was troubled.
