Chapter 78: A Lover And A Cook

(Casey’s POV)

_______

Thirty minutes later, just as intense as our first time that night, Jace was slamming hard into me. He had my hair twirled around his fingers, pulling them back as he bent me over the counter and plowed over and over into me.

I couldn’t help myself, I was moaning uncontrollably as I felt his cock fill me up over and over again. No matter the number of times I had been with him, I still wasn’t used to him. Every time we did it, it was always fresh and like new.

With his free hand, he fondled my breasts while he kept pistoning into me. I reached out behind me, pulling him further into me as hard as I could while I was throwing back. He was grunting deep in chest, while I cried out, gripping the edges of the counter for balance.

"Ahh..." I cried uncontrollably. From another planet, I could perceive a thick invasive smell, but at the moment, I didn’t care. All I wanted at that moment was satisfaction and nothing else mattered.

Soon, Jace pulled out of me, his cock was hard as hell and wet with my juices. However, he wasn’t done, he simply lifted my leg and draped it over the counter, slapping my butt once for fun, but it sent a thrill running through my spine, causing me to jerk from pleasure. Then, placing his hand purposefully at the small of my back to hold me down, he slipped right back in.

A few strokes later, he was going fast like an automaton, moving in and out of me with such frequency. All I could do was just lie there and take it. He held me in place while he continued to do things to my body. I couldn’t get enough of him. I just wanted more and more of him and he didn’t disappoint. He kept fucking me.

And soon, I could feel the orgasm begin to creep up on me.

"Oh shit..." I cried in ecstasy, my entire body quivering from his intense thrusts. "I’m cuming!"

"Me too!!" Jace cried as well, his voice gruff as he tightened his hold on my hips and kept thrusting, giving it everything that he had.

"Oh fuck! YES!!!" I cried the second the orgasm hit me. It was like the air around me turned to water and I was suddenly floating. Then, I suddenly felt weightless, soaring through my climax as it ripped through me mercilessly. My entire body trembled from the force of my orgasm, but Jace, with his usual style, didn’t stop.

He fucked me through it all until he too came hard against me. Just feeling his seed wash deep inside me gave me another mini-orgasm. As his body spasmed against me, he fell over my back, breathing hard and fast. Meanwhile, I was still bent double over the counter, my bare breasts were against the cold marble surface. But at that moment, I didn’t care.

All I knew was that I had basically had my insides rearranged by my boyfriend and I needed a few moments of respite.

Soon though, my soul stopped floating around the room and returned to my body. And as I sucked in deep breaths, I realized that it didn’t smell right. There was something wrong with the air.

"Holy shit!" I cursed weakly, I was smelling smoke. "Your food, Jace!"

"Fuck!" Jace cursed as he got off my back at once, he reached over to the cooker and turned it off. However, it was already too late. The kitchen was filled with thick black smoke and it was only then that we noticed it was choking us slightly.

With shaky legs, I hurried over to the windows and threw them open so I could let in fresh air, the relief was instant.

"I warned you that this would happen, Jace." I told him, "But you just couldn’t help yourself, could you?"

"Come on," he muttered as he looked forlornly at the pan. "you couldn’t help yourself either."

I walked closer to him and looked into the pan as well, I shook my head slightly, "There’s no recovering from that, is there?"

He laughed, "I’m not that good a chef, babe."

The contents were burnt beyond recognition. They were now nothing but chaff and ashes, daring to even eat them would be like eating charcoal. Well, who could blame the poor things? They had been on fire for over thirty minutes while Jace had been screwing my brains out. I guess they were just a consequence of our endless desire for each other.

I didn’t leave the window open for long though, the minute the smoke cleared out, I closed it back at once. I glanced up at the smoke detector, since it didn’t trigger the alarm, it could be that it had not been as bad as we had feared.

I watched as Jace poured the ruined food out and began from scratch to prepare the ingredients. He was still naked, moving around the kitchen like he owned the damn place. I looked down at myself, I was naked as well. My body was still a bit damp from our romp and my knees were still a bit weak from the intense pounding. But then, I knew that if we remained that way, he wasn’t going to finish cooking. Just looking at his sexy butt was already setting the butterflies off in my stomach. I knew I would also be having the same effect on him. And for that reason, I just couldn’t remain in the kitchen.

"I’ll be in the living room," I told him as I hurriedly picked up my clothes, holding them to myself.

He gave me a once over, "Are you sure you don’t want to watch me create magic?"

"Magic that would no doubt end up with me bent once more over this counter?" I shook my head. "I need you to focus on this food you’re cooking so I can finally have dinner. I also don’t want you cooking rubbish and claiming it was because I distracted you. So, do your thing, boy."

He smiled at me. As I walked past, he blocked my path, "Okay girl, I guess I’ll see you soon. But before then..."

He pulled me into yet another kiss. It was searing and passionate. Then, he released me, squeezing my butt one last time before he returned to what he was cooking. Holding onto my clothes, I smiled as I made my way out of the house, my muscles were still tingling from our encounter and I didn’t think I would survive another one just yet. I needed all the rest I could get because that was the only way I could ensure I would match him with whatever he came up with for the rest of tonight.

In the living room, I slipped my clothes back on, the fabric feeling oddly unfamiliar against my heated skin. The air was thick with the remnants of what had just happened, but the silence swallowed it whole. The TV was off, and the house was unnervingly quiet—too quiet.

But I didn’t mind.

After everything that had happened today, after all the faces in mine, the questions, the tension coiling around me like a noose—I needed this. A moment alone. A brief pocket of peace before Jace finished cooking.

I sank onto the couch, exhaling slowly as I let my body relax into the cushions. The air conditioner hummed lowly, its cold breath washing over me, soothing the lingering heat from the kitchen. My muscles loosened, the weight of the day melting away, and for the first time in hours, I allowed myself to just be.

I closed my eyes, letting the darkness take me, letting the quiet lull me toward the edges of sleep. My breathing slowed, my limbs heavy, my mind drifting into that strange, weightless space between waking and dreaming.

Then—

A buzz. Low. Insistent.

My phone.

The vibration rattled against the table, sharp and jarring, slicing through the stillness like a knife.

A chill ran down my spine, and I didn’t know why.

Something about the sound felt wrong. Off.

I hesitated before reaching for it, my fingers hovering over the screen.

And then, as I finally picked it up—

The air around me seemed to shift as I pursed my lips in anger. It was too late for me to be getting a call. Whoever it was, it had to be good, or they were going to have a major problem with me.

With a sigh, I pushed myself off the couch and picked up my phone. I saw that it was my assistant, Liam, who was calling and at once, I felt a chill go up my spine. If he was calling me so late, then I knew there was a problem.

I answered the call at once, "What’s up?"

"Where the hell did you keep your phone?" He demanded. "I’ve been calling you for ages!"

"I’m so sorry, I wasn’t with my phone," I muttered as I pinched the bridge of my nose. I checked my notifications and sure enough, there were five missed calls from him. Liam had been calling me endlessly while Jace had me bent over the counter. "I’m here now though, what is it?"

"I think we might have a problem, Casey."

"Oh fuck... what happened?"

"We’re being sued! And you’ll be shocked to know who the person is!"

At that moment, I knew that it had been foolish of me to think that tonight could end on a happy note for me.

I just wasn’t that lucky.
